Odhad potenciálního produktu v ČR a jeho vztah k hospodářskému cyklu / Estimating of potential output in the Czech Republic and its relationship to the business cycle

Potential output is used as the indicator of the business cycle. The aim of this study is to compare the results of different methods used for estimating potential output and verify the hypothesis that potential output or rather the output gap can serve as a reliable indicator to determine the phase of the business cycle in the Czech Republic in the years 1996-2012. 6 different methods - linear trend, Hodrick-Prescott filter, Baxter-King filter, Butterworth filter, Kalman filter and the production function have been used to estimate potential output. The output gap was determined based on the estimated potential output. The comparison of the results of all methods has confirmed the same development trend of potential output. All the methods for estimating potential output, except Butterworth filter, have showed that their results are good indicators of the business cycle in the Czech Republic.

The subject matter of this diploma thesis is to analyze the products of selected travel agencies in domestic tourism in relation to Slovakia. The aim of this thesis is to analyze their offer in terms of depth and width, and also find out how travel agencies are involved in this type of tourism. The first part of the thesis defines the theoretical basis and terms used in the following sections. The second chapter describes the Slovak Republic as a destination of domestic tourism, discusses the current state of domestic tourism, but also the attractiveness and preconditions for its development. The third chapter presents the specific characteristics of selected travel agencies and analysis of their product portfolios. The final section is devoted to the comparison of offers, evaluation of analysis and drawing conclusions and recommendations.

The aim of this thesis is to explore investment opportunities of the Czech population, the ability of businesses to obtain needed capital for their investment plans and possibilities to obtain these funds from individuals through securities. The main part of this work is to evaluate the dependence between the securities markets and the growth of gross domestic product between 2006 - 2012. For the research, graphical and correlation analysis were used. Due to detected dependencies between gross domestic product and the bond market, issuance of bonds with a five-month delay of the positive fluctuation of gross domestic product was recommended. The final section is concentrates on prediction of the future development of the bond market, which proved to be unpredictable.

Suggestions a recommendations for new model launch are supported by detailed analysis based on intern sources and secondary data, which are divided to several following parts: Czech automotive market analysis, analysis of Sport Utility Vehicles, consumer insight analysis of previous model generation, introduction of new generation and its key features, competitors overview and comparison with them, marketing communication of Hyundai carmaker, previous model generation and its competitors and positioning. Conclusion and target of this thesis are proposals and recommendations to new model generation launch focused on product, target group, competitors and communication.

The main aim of the diploma thesis was to identify shortcomings, assess possibilities and make suggestions for streamlining marketing communication with the public, future prospective members, sponsors and institutions on the basis of a composite marketing mix of GRADACE Kromeriz dance club. The thesis includes an analysis of customer satisfaction with services in order to identify their needs and to improve service quality. The thesis also contains an analysis of the external and internal environment and the resulting proposals for extension of services. The proposals concern mainly the extension of the scope of the services in the neighborhood, a marketing mix is developed for them, which includes definition of service, price, promotion and distribution.

The Diploma Thesis is focused on the problematic of the optimization and consecutive communication of the mobile application which is developed by one Prague shopping center for its needs. For that I will use suitable communication mix based on current experience since the launch of the app which was in September 2017. The communication of the application itself to all interest groups in managed by marketing agency in cooperation with marketing management of the certain shopping center. Though it seems on the first sight that it is mainly B-2-B market, main interest focus is on the final customer satisfaction and that is B-2-C market. There is a detailed analysis of the Prague shopping centers market with emphasis on another mobile applications of the same purpose made in the Thesis. Then there are the steps how to make the marketing communication of the application more effective a so make the awareness of the application better suggested from the results of the analytical part .
