Alternatívne metódy odhadu potencionálného produktu a produkčnej medzery: odhad pre Česko / Alternative methods of estimating potential output and the output Gap: An application to Czech

Krasnovský, Pavol January 2009 (has links)
The text discusses some used methods for estimating potential product and output gaps based on aggregated data for the Czech Republic. Though these methods exhibit some common features, an empirical comparison demonstrates that the various techniques differ substantially. In particular, the correlation of output gaps calculated with different methods is generally low , the methods imply different turning points. To conclude, the methods for estimating potential product a used have only limited information content for macroeconomics.

Konvergence evropských ekonomik v kontextu globální nerovnosti / Convergence of European economies in the context of global inequality

Kučerová, Michaela January 2009 (has links)
This thesis deals with the convergence of European economies in the context of the deepening global inequality in the world. The theoretical part discusses the concept of convergence and the basic theories of economic growth, explaining the convergence of economies to their steady state. This part also deals with global inequality. Different types of inequalities and methods of measurement are identified, with focus on external inequality measured by GDP per capita in purchasing power parity. The analytical part examines the development of gross domestic product of the analyzed economies. The regression analysis of beta convergence shows that the economies converge and that the inequality between them is decreasing. One part of the analytical section also clarifies the relationship between long-term growth and its determinants. The section is concluded with the regression analysis of dependence between the long-term growth and selected determinants. The analysis shows that the statistically significant main factors contributing to long-term growth in the analyzed economies are the level of investment, openness of the economy, and government capital expenditures. Foreign direct investment inflows are also an important determinant, but not statistically significant. On the other hand, long-term economic growth is negatively influenced by the rate of population growth.

Implementace produktu Alfresco v malé firmě / Implementation of product Alfresco in a small firm

Čech, Štěpán January 2009 (has links)
The thesis is concerned with the implementation of a document management system (DMS) in a small firm where I've been working for almost 4 years as an information technician. The aim of the thesis is to implement the particular DMS product that is in this case an open system Alfresco. The project of the implementation itself is preceded by the firm analysis phase that includes a process analysis, an analysis of relevant documents as well as an economic analysis. Through this analysis series of inadequacies in work activities of individual employees were recognized and these are aimed to be minimized or eliminated with the help of the Alfresco system implementation. Within the scope of project stages description concerning the implementation of the Alfresco the thesis is focused especially on the analysis phases and solution design, the implementation, the customization and finally the operation. Throughout the above mentioned stages a new structure of some processes is suggested, including a change of the firm organization structure, furthermore basic functions of Alfresco system are described and a fundamental rules framework is defined to know how to use the Alfresco system in concrete cases. The end of the thesis contains an evaluation whether to apply the Alfresco system in a small firm or not and further a three-month's testing period and its influence on the firm is being discussed.

Český a globální trh výtvarného umění (s akcentem na kritickou reflexi českých a zahraničních autorit) / Czech and global fine arts market (with an emphasis on a critical reflection of authorities from the Czech republic and abroad)

Dvořák, Olga January 2013 (has links)
The dissertation examines art as a very specific luxury commodity that is difficult to define and place on a market. The objectively given uncertainty of an art market does not seem to be consistent with the investment function of an artwork. The price of this product is unstable and non transparent and it is generally formed through a marketing tool - a commercial art fair. The main aim of this dissertation is to uncover the specifics of the fine art market. The secondary objective is to determine how emerging art from the Czech Republic is represented on a global scale. The research method included expert opinions from interviews as well as statistical processing of survey answers from several different professions. The main outcome of this research found out expert opinions from prominent art institutions around the world, and their awareness of Czech contemporary art. The beneficial factor of this research is the recommendation for Czech artists and commercial galleries to penetrate the global market. Beside the practical benefits there are additional benefits for science, as the information and research is taken from different fields, which is not so sufficiently monitored or presented as well in the Czech Republic. The focus on the pedagogical benefits are evident as the author has paid much attention to these issues for several years in the conext of regular lectures on the art of marketing at the University of Economics in Prague.

Metodika testování podle mezinárodních praktik a standardů / Testing methodology according to international practices and standards

Králová, Iveta January 2012 (has links)
There are many methodologies in the field of software engineering that focus on the entire software development process. The software development process aims to provide a quality product that meets user requirements, and to deliver it on time as well as within budget. Testing is a tool for verifying the quality of software and serves as feedback in software development. Most software development methodologies are available only in English, they emphasize the actual software development and address testing only marginally. An accurately designed testing process however, may contribute to higher software quality and avoid potential problems resulting from the entire information system's failure. Current Czech methodology that focuses exclusively on testing has been developed either inside individual companies and thus is not accessible to the public, or is contained in graduate theses, where it was typically created by adapting and expanding the existing software development methodologies for testing within a particular company or team. The main objective of this thesis is to establish a methodology for testing in Czech, which is based on international practices and standards, which is not tailored to a specific organization and which can be used as guidance in defining test processes in various organizations, regardless of their specific focus. The proposed methodology is also implemented in the tool EPF Composer that enables administration of methodology and its publication in the form of the website. The thesis also pursues additional objectives. In order to verify the objective of developing a standardized testing methodology is met, the thesis strives to produce a subsequent evaluation methodology using a standardized process framework in order to improve the testing process as well as a summary detailing which areas may be the subject of further expansion methodology. The theoretical part of the thesis aims to evaluate software development methodologies in terms of testing, to provide an overview of standards related to testing and to describe selected standards, to clarify the purpose of certification in testing and to analyze the possibilities of utilizing materials to prepare for the ISTQB certification. The objectives were achieved by analyzing the available materials for ISTQB certification, analyzing software development methodologies, standards, the TMMi procedural framework and other resources that deal with testing as well as its methodologies and standards. The main contribution of this work is a testing methodology, which is based on the testing process as defined by the international organization ISTQB. It provides a methodological framework by interconnecting and expanding individual methodological elements. Elements of the methodology include working products, as specified by the methodology with respect to the IEEE 829 standard. The methodology does not depend on the needs of a particular company and may be easily adopted, managed and customized. It may be used as a starting point in creating a testing strategy in Czech companies focused on software development which are interested in approaching testing in compliance with international practices.

Hospodářský cyklus v zemích Visegradské čtyřky / Economic cycle in Visegrad Group countries

Krausová, Iveta January 2013 (has links)
The aim of Master's thesis is to analyse the economic development of member states of Visegrad group and to provide subsequent comparison of observed indicators. The Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland are connected by common history and effort to overcome all difficulties of economic transformation and then start its economic development in conditions of market economy. The theoretical part explains and qualifies the selected macroeconomic indicators. Economic development is interpreted on basis of these indicators. These are gross domestic product and its components, inflation rate, unemployment rate, current account of balance of payment to GDP and public debt to GDP. Furthermore the theoretical part contains information relating to business cycle, the group V4 and starting economic conditions of the countries. The practical part firstly discusses the development of individual countries of V4 separately in particular periods. Detailed analysis of the financial management of all four countries is followed by the summarization of received information and comparison of economic development. The conclusion of practical part outlines the expected economic development in order to give an idea where the countries are heading to.

Foundations of Sequential Art Driven Development / Základy vývoje řízeného sekvenčním uměním

Moravec, Martin January 2015 (has links)
To develop and deliver an innovative and technologically superior product is not enough to succeed when it does not meet the user's daily needs. To develop such a product, you need an abstract and easy to use communication platform for target users, decision makers, and developers, that can also act as a model of the relevant part of the real world displaced by a possible innovation, auxiliary tool in creating a mind map and documentation, and a way of promoting the final product. An instance of such a platform is a sophisticated comic book, itself an instance of sequential art. Not only is it a feature rich and intuitive tool for collaboration of interested parties with different backgrounds, skills and roles, but since it essentially reflects the relevant part of the real world displaced by the innovation, it's pretty easy and quick for a new user to learn and master. Although not limited to such instances, it can be found as an especially useful tool for crowdsourced and open source based projects. This thesis will lay down the much needed theoretical basis for the Sequential Art Driven Development method and offer a practical application of such method, with an open call for contributions from members of the crowd, in the form of a CC0 licensed comic book series "Who is Secret Agent X-9?", a showcase platform for cutting edge technologies like the Bitcoin network and Nemo Mobile operating system.

Design von Produkt-Dienstleistungssystemen für Kreislaufwirtschaft

Tischner, Ursula 07 September 2021 (has links)
