Reikalavimų specifikavimo šablonų pagrindu analizė ir programinis prototipas / Analysis of requirements specification using templates and programme prototype

Zinkevičius, Egidijus 04 March 2009 (has links)
Reikalavimų inžinerija yra bene svarbiausias etapas informacinės sistemos kūrime. Tik tikslus reikalavimų specifikavimo proceso valdymas leis sėkmingai projektuoti, realizuoti ir įdiegti informacines sistemas kompiuterizuojamose srityse. Dažnai neefektyvus reikalavimų rinkimo procesas tampa projekto nesėkmės ar programinės įrangos defekto pagrindu. Be to, aptiktų netikslumų pašalinimo kaina kyla eksponentiškai, kai jie atrandami vėlyvosiose projekto stadijose. / The usage of computers takes more important place in our modern life. It was noticed that more and more enterprises use requirement management tools and specification templates to increase quality of requirement specification and projects. Very often ineffective requirements-gathering processes are the source of project failures and software defects. In addition, the cost of fixing defects rises exponentially as their discovery occurs later in the development process. However, a solid requirements process is fundamental to an effective overall process, and companies seeking increased quality and productivity should start with the requirements process. The intention of this work is to make the experimental research of requirements specification using templates and evaluate it.

Muziejaus vaidmens kaita postmodernioje visuomenėje. Lietuvos atvejis / The museum role changing in the postmodern society. Lithuania case

Valiuškytė, Donata 02 August 2011 (has links)
Darbe nagrinėjamos postmodernizmo teorijos atsiradimo ištakos ir termino vartojimo istorija. Pateikiami autorių svarstymai apie postmodernizmo sampratos susiformavimą. Aptariamos naujosios muzeologijos šalininkų išskirtos naujo postmodernaus muziejaus veiklos kryptys: komunikacija, edukacija bei rinkodara. Atlikus tyrimą, darbe pateikiamos 9 Lietuvos muziejininkų nuomonės apie muziejų (apie lankytojus, jų istorinės savimonės bei kūrybiškumo ugdymo būdus, dabartinio muziejaus trūkumus, modernaus muziejaus viziją ir kt.). 2007 m. patvirtinta „Muziejų modernizavimo programa“, truksianti iki 2015 m. Šioje programoje numatytus tikslus ir uždavinius galima skirti į dvi dalis – materialųjį muziejų modernizavimą ir nematerialųjį muziejų modernizavimą. Į materialiojo muziejaus modernizavimo sąvoką įeina pastatų renovavimas, ekspozicijų atnaujinimas bei naujų eksponatų įsigijimas. Tuo tarpu nematerialusis muziejų modernizavimas apima muziejininkų gebėjimų tobulinimą bei Lietuvos integralios muziejų informacinės sistemos kūrimą. Atlikus tyrimą darbe pateikiami 5 muziejaus darbuotojų požiūriai į muziejų modernizavimo procesą Lietuvoje. / The present Paper deals with the beginning of Postmodernism theory and history of usage of the aforementioned term. Contemplations of different authors regarding formation of Postmodernism conception are provided.Trends of a new postmodern museum activities distinguished by supporters of the new museology are discussed. Three major activities, i.e. communication, education, and marketing, are distinguished. Opinions of 9 Lithuanian museologists on museum (on visitors, methods for development of their historical self-consciousness and creativity, drawbacks of a contemporary museum, vision of a modern museum, etc.) are provided in the Paper upon completion of a research. “Programme for Modernisation of Museums” which shall be implemented by 2015 was approved in 2007. Aims and tasks specified in the aforementioned Programme may be divided into two parts: material modernisation of museums and immaterial modernisation of museums. The conception of material modernisation of museums includes renovation of buildings, renewal of expositions and acquisitions of new exhibits. Meanwhile, immaterial modernisation of museums includes improvement of museologists’ skills and creation of an integral Lithuanian museum information system. 5 attitudes of museum employees towards the process of museum modernisation in Lithuania are provided in the Paper upon completion of the research.

HIV/AIDS workplace policy development and implementation in a selected sample of South African organisations

Laas, Anja 03 1900 (has links)
Thesis (MPhil (Industrial Psychology. Africa Centre for HIV/AIDS Management))--Stellenbosch University, 2009. / ENGLISH SUMMARY: The objective of this study was to determine the current situation regarding policy development and implementation in a selected sample of South African organisations. The researcher used the survey method to determine how many organisations do have HIV/AIDS workplace policies in place, and if not, why not. It was found that only a small percentage of respondents confirmed to not have an HIV/AIDS workplace policy at their respective workplaces. A reason for concern is that almost a quarter of the respondents were not sure whether their workplace had a policy or not. Larger organisations (> 500 employees) were more inclined to have polices and the highest percentage of organisations that have policies were from KwaZulu Natal, the province with the highest HIV/AIDS prevalence in the country.

Ideology, hegemony and HIV/AIDS : the appropriation of indigenous and global spheres.

Parker, Warren. January 2004 (has links)
Ideology is a fundamental aspect of society, and ideological analysis has been applied to the development of explanatory frameworks for understanding structural dominance within social formations. Structural and post-structural conceptions of ideology have focused on macro-ideological phenomena and processes, offering explanation of relations between economic base and super-structure as they interrelate with ideological dominance. Ideologies serve the interests of particular social formations or classes over others, and at the macro-level this has to do with organised thought as it relates to power. This thesis explores the concept of ideology and related concepts of dominance, power and hegemony, through relocating macrolevel understandings and analysis of ideology within analysis of superstructural entities - notably organisations, groups and elites. HIV/AIDS is an ecological phenomenon that is accompanied by processes of sense-making that incorporate ideological dimensions in the public sphere, particularly in relation to social policy and strategy. Ideological discourses about HIV/AIDS have drawn on specific epistemological foundations and world-views, incorporating intersections with parallel ideologies, and in many instances being directed towards achieving expansion and dominance of particular ideas. This ideological strategy incorporates the construction of common sense. Ideological claims are reiterative, but are also related to processes of legitimation that combine structural relations with communicative power. A South African HIV/AIDS programme, LoveLife, is utilised as a case study to demonstrate ideological trajectories over time. The inter-relation between claims about the HIV/AIDS epidemic, claims about impact of the LoveLife programme, and the utility of alliances and structural partnerships in legitimating such claims is explored. These claims-making processes are found to also occur at global level through the active resourcing and facilitation by LoveLife programme's founding funder, the Kaiser Family Foundation. These activities intersect in the development of an ideological bloc that is directed towards expansion and dominance through appropriation of indigenous and global discourse spheres. / Thesis (Ph.D.)-University of KwaZulu-Natal, Durban, 2004.

A policy study of the Growth Employment and Redistribution (GEAR) with respect to social development and Adult Basic Education and Training (ABET)

Mathe, Khulekani. January 2002 (has links)
This study analyses the Growth Employment and Redistribution (GEAR) strategy with respect to social development, and adult basic education and training (ABET). Since its adoption as official economic policy, replacing the RDP policy in June 1996, the GEAR strategy has been a subject of much debate, and blamed for all social and economic ills, including job losses and high unemployment, poverty, problems in the education, health and welfare system, as well as poor delivery of social services. Motivated by these debates, the author set out to investigate how GEAR provides / does not provide for social development and ABET, both areas of interest to the author. This study investigates this question based only on a review of literature. While the GEAR strategy makes policy proposals in various aspects of the economy, and sets an economic growth target of 6% per annum by the year 2000, and the creation of 400 000 jobs per annum during the same period (all of which were not met), evidence shows no policy provisions in the GEAR strategy with respect to social development, and ABET. In fact, ABET is not mentioned at all in the GEAR strategy. However, the GEAR strategy makes specific mention of the Human Resources Development Strategy, as a vehicle for addressing education and training problems, thereby improving the skills base of the country. The Human Resources Development Strategy and the National Skills Development Strategy sponsored by the DoE and DoL respectively, all seem to be sound policies. There is however growing evidence that South Africa has developed sound policies which it fails to implement because of lack of capacity and financial resources partly due to the government's acceptance of the neoliberal agenda. This appears to be particularly true with respect to social development and ABET targets in the Human Resources Development and the National Skills Development strategies. This study concludes that the GEAR strategy is based on neoliberal assumptions of stimulating foreign investment, export-led economic growth, global trade and global competition, underpinned by the conception that the state must play a minimal role in the economy and is therefore not appropriate for the social development challenges (especially illiteracy) facing South Africa. If progress is to be made in addressing these challenges in South Africa, an alternative to the GEAR strategy must be found . / Thesis (M.Ed.) - University of Natal, Pietermaritzburg, 2002.
