Vznik muzeí v Koreji a jejich vzdělávací role / The Establishment of Museums in Korea and Their Educational Role

5 Abstract: The aim of this thesis is firstly to deal with the emergence and development of museums on the Korean peninsula and since 1948 only in the Republic of Korea. Secondly it aims to concentrate on their educational activities. The very first modern museum in Korea called the Imperial Museum was established at the beginning of the 20th century. A year after the museum opened its door to the public, Korea was annexed by Japan. That had a great impact on the development of the first museums in Korea. After the liberation from Japanese rule in 1945 the museums were handed over to Koreans. Museum activity had only just begun when the Korean War broke out. The focus of the following part is the National Museum of Korea (NMK), the most important museum in South Korea. For most of its history the museum moved from one place to another. In 2005 it finally found its place in a newly built modern building in Soul's district called Jongsan. By taking NMK as an example the thesis explores the museum educational activities. It offers a closer look at programs for foreigners and the growing number of immigrants and senior citizens, popular lecture series, wide range of guided tours etc. Finally, some exhibition projects are introduced. Title: Participatory budgeting as one of the possible sources of funding for sport Objectives: Examine particular project financing opportunities for the construction of a street workout park, possibly from public funds provided in grant programs to promote and support sport. Methods: The work used the method of document analysis, then synthesis of the data to create reports for a better orientation in grant programs and also the method of case studies to illustrate solid examples of grant applications. Results: The result is lucid table used for selecting the right grant program in respect of specific case. The work also includes ideas and recommendations based on personal experience gained by participating in the project Moje stopa financed by participatory budget. This thesis deals wiht the subsidies as a tool for solving positive externalities in the environmental field. The theoretical part explains the principle of externalities, and offers three variants of their solution - a system of taxes and subsidies, according to A.C. Pigou, the negotiation of compensation, according to R. Coase, and connected property. From these theoretical concepts are in reality to solve positive externalities mainly used subsidies. Selected subsidies programs for environmental protection are subject to the following analysis. Classic example of positive externality is considered pollination activity of bees. Therefore, the second half of thesis describes how this agricultural sector, beekeeping, depends on subsidies. This thesis proposes another solutions to develop and streamline the sector without the use of subsidies.

The aim of this study is to compare companies and NGOs in the projects of EU Structural Funds. In the theoretical part were presented EU funds, in particular the European Social Fund and European Regional Development Fund. Then there was described the situation of companies and nongovernmental organizations in the Czech Republic. In the fourth section of the theoretical part are possible operational programs, which can be used by companies and NGOs. In the practical part there was selected for the qualitative research Operational Programme Humans Resources and Employment. Studied the effect of subsidized organizations like the Project on civic associations, charitable company, limited liability company and stock company before and after project.

The aim of this thesis is to describe the execution of unconditional imprisonment in the Czech republic and to analyze the actual problems of the Czech penitentiary system. It also tries to propose convenient solutions of the main problems. The extend of this thesis is reduced to the execution of penalty, therefor other forms of detention are excluded. The unconditional imprisonment is the strictest penalty in Czech legal system and it has a major impact on the convicted human beings. That is why I tried do describe how the actual penitentiary system works and what are its weak points. This thesis also tries to compare the ideas of global modern reforms, like humanization and therapeutical concept of punishment, to the real situation of Czech imprisonment. This thesis consists of eight chapters, each of them deals with various aspects of this form of punishment. The first chapter is devoted to theoretical issues of the concept and purpose of the punishment. This part is necessary and desirable for later interpretation of imprisonment problematic. The second chapter describes the legal fundaments of unconditional imprisonment according to international law and its impact on practice. This diploma thesis aims to map out how big brownfield problems are in individual regions of the Czech Republic and whether the regions themselves help to solve this unsatisfactory situation. The partial objective was to evaluate the use of available financial resources provided by the European Union in the 2007-2013 programming period for projects related to brownfield regeneration in the Czech Republic.

Akademický vývoj studentů se specifickou poruchou učení na ZSF / Academic development of students with learning disability at the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences

The topic of this thesis is the academic development of students with specific learning disabilities (SLD) at the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, specifically at the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences. The thesis is mainly concerned with the analysis of individual study programmes and fields in the context of the study specification demands, the results of which will be used in the research of the GA JU project implemented by the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of the Faculty of Education. The introduction of the theoretical part describes the current state of knowledge about the problems of specific learning disorders. First, the basic concepts and the divisions of learning disorders according to the affected area are defined. Then, the etiology of specific learning disabilities is presented, followed by a chapter focused on symptoms of learning disabilities, diagnosis and reeducation. The next chapter is focused on the adult, his / her development in biological and psychological terms. Diagnostics and re-education in adulthood are also presented in this chapter. In the theoretical part, attention is also paid to the education of individuals with specific learning disabilities in secondary school and university. The conclusion of the theoretical part is devoted to universities in general, then to the University of South Bohemia and the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences itself. The aim of the practical part is to analyze all study programmes that can currently be studied at the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences in full-time study. Individual subjects taught in the given study programme will be the core of the analysis. The criteria will be pre-defined in order to determine the level of study demands.

The diploma thesis is focused on evaluating the impact of programs supporting small and medium enterprises on the competitiveness of czech regions. The first part defines small and medium enterprises and their importance. The second section focuses on describing the various forms of supports for small and medium enterprises. The third part is divided into the three chapters. The first part deals with the specificities of the czech regions. The second chapter analyzes the effectiveness and real impact of the two major programs for supporting entrepreneurship. There are used three different analyzes: analysis of the efficiency of allocation, convergence analysis and correlation analysis of transferred resources and competitiveness factors. The conclusion of this section is accompanied by recommendations for regional policy.

This diploma thesis deals with risk behaviour of adolescents and possibilities of its prevention by means of prevention. The aim of the thesis is to identify and map the most common forms of risk behaviour, which occurs in the age cohort of 18-19 years, i.e. at the threshold of adulthood, among high school students (from their point of view). The thesis also deals with the possibilities of prevention of this behaviour provided within the area of preventive work (from the perspective of prevention methodologists). Using the form of multiple case studies, the thesis uses both quantitative research methods, which comprise structured questionnaires for pupils of selected secondary schools from the same urban area, as well as qualitative, which represent semi-structured interviews with prevention methodologists. The theoretical part of the thesis, based on relatively extensive literature available, characterizes the developmental period of adolescence, socialization of the child, presents a summary of the usual types of risk behaviour of adolescents and describes the system of prevention.
