Interactive collaborative enviroments are solved by many companies and research teams. This thesis is focused on design and development of own system for gesture recognition based on Microsoft Kinect controller. The system is focused on collaboration of multiple users. Therefore, proposed solution can distinguish interactions of different users. The result allows to create an interactive area from a common wall using a computer, projector and Kinect controller.

Firemní nasazení audio-video techniky / Deployment of corporate audio-video technology

This thesis deals with the possibility of connecting, automating and controlling audio/video hardware. In the theoretical part the author deals with input and output A/V devices, A/V interfaces communication interfaces, possibility of connecting automation elements and a room control. It explains terms relating to the audio/video topic. The practical part suggests a complete design and implementation of a showroom to present the portfolio of Colsys company, which demonstrates functions of the control system Crestron, such as controlling projectors, video matrices, sound equipment and building automation (lights, air conditioning, blinds, etc.). First part of this section deals with defining the requirements for individual devices. The next step was the selection of suitable components based on fulfilling the set criteria and the budget. After that a check of compatibility was performed and room layout was designed, which contained electrical layout and a room blueprint. Final step of this section was designing the user interface and its realization in order to create the control unit program. Based on the theoretical part the author created a chapter titled Recommendation, which is verified in the practical part by creating a fully functional showroom for Colsys company, which also serves as a meeting room.

Seamless Automatic Projector Calibration of Large Immersive Displays using Gray Code

Calibrating multiple projectors to create a distortion free environment is required in many fields e.g. simulators and the calibration may be done in a series different ways. This report will cover an automatic single camera projector calibration algorithm.The algorithm handles multiple projectors and can handle projectors covering bigger field of view than a camera by supporting image stitching. A proof of concept blending algorithm is also presented. The algorithm includes a new developed interpolation method building on spline surfaces and an orientation calculation algorithm that calculates the orientation difference between two camera views. Using the algorithm to calibrate, gives pixel accuracy of less than 1 camera pixel after interpolation and the relation between two views are calculated accurately. The images created using the algorithm is distortion free and close to seamless. The algorithm is limited to a controlled projector environment and calibrates the projectors for a single viewpoint. Furthermore, the camera needs to be calibrated positioned in the sweet spot although it can be arbitrary rotated.

Deskové hry na interaktivním stole / Board Games on Interactive Table

This thesis focuses on the application of the tangible user interface and spatial augmented reality principals for playing board games. For this purpose, a system called interactive table was developed. It is both hardware and software solution. The hardware part solves the installation of a depth camera and a projector located above the table. The software solution deals with calibration of the depth camera and projector system using known procedures for camera calibration on the one hand, on the other hand it solves tasks from the field of computer vision. This perceptional part is the core of the whole thesis and for the purposes of playing board games it provides information about the location of the physical game object, physical game board and the calculations of mask for masking distracting objects. An educational application was developed for the purposes of demonstration of the system options. The interactive table offers new possibilities for playing board games in a real-world environment by the combination of the augmented reality elements with real-world objects and the related new user experience.

Syftet med studien är att belysa hur förskolebarn samarbetar, interagerar och kommunicerar när de arbetar med den interaktiva tavlan på förskolan. Vidare sätts detta i relation till tidigare studier gjorda kring barns samarbete vid vanliga datorer.Studiens frågeställningar:- Hur ser samarbetet vid den interaktiva tavlan ut på förskolan?- På vilka sätt interagerar barnen med varandra när de arbetar med den interaktiva tavlan?- Vilka intentioner har pedagogerna med arbetet vid den interaktiva tavlan?- Hur ser pedagogernas roll ut i praktiken?I studien använde jag mig av kvalitativa, ostrukturerade observationer där jag själv inte var delaktig i det som hände. Det föll sig naturligt att jag valde kvalitativa observationer då mina frågeställningar syftar till att få en djupare förståelse kring hur barns samarbete, interaktion och kommunikation kan te sig vid arbete med IKT. Vidare genomförde jag även en kvalitativ intervju med en av de förskollärare som arbetar på den aktuella avdelningen för att få med pedagogernas tankar.Den interaktiva tavlan kan endast styras av en person åt gången, den som har pennan i sin hand. Dock uppstår det samarbete mellan barnen ändå i och med att barnen hjälper varandra och ger tips och råd hur man ska komma vidare. I vissa fall tar det barn som har ägarpositionen åt sig av dessa råd och gör som kompisarna vill, ibland bestämmer ägaren själv hur den ska gå vidare. Pedagogernas intentioner och deras roll i verkligheten stämmer inte överens. Pedagogerna saknar både tid och teknisk utbildning för att kunna genomföra det de skulle vilja göra med tavlan. Pedagogernas roll vid tillfällen av fri lek blir att styra över vem som står på tur för att använda tavlan och även att hjälpa barnen med tekniken.

The aim of this thesis is to create a system, which draws the graphics with the help of a set laser project and eventually is able to synthetize several coloured rays and thus realise a multicolour drawing. The whole system is controlled by a Raspberry PI microcomputer and the data is sent to it from a PC via an Ethernet cable. The transmission of the projector device was identified and possible ways of improving the device were suggested. The results of this thesis allow creation of a multi-coloured vector picture, transferring it into the device and depiction on the project desktop. The whole device can therefore be used for example for the purpose of a presentation.

The general aim of my master´s thesis is to study the actual principles of 3D scanning, the anatomy of human teeth, use of 3D scanning in dentistry and other medical fields. Another part of this thesis is about software and hardware design of 3D scanning system, which enable us to scan dental casts. This design is using webcam, projector and turntable. The principle of scanning is based on the activ triangulation. The output of 3D scanner is a horde of spots, which are used for reconstruction of a surface. The reconstructed surface is finally saved as .stl format.

The content of this work is the design and implementation of HW supported by SW for viewing subtitles into the movie, which translates from the projection equipment on 16 mm film, synchronizing subtitles with the movie, at the same time the work also addresses the issues of principle changes the distance of the canvas. Subtitles are loaded by using the SD card slot control by using the control, which is used to display graphics monochrome buttons that are also used for setting the device and its modifications.
