Intramural athletics, in the small high school should be a program of sports for all. The small high school with its limited financial and athletic equipment will do well to recognize the general trend of physical education by developing an athletic program of "activity for activity's sake". Working in the physical education department of small high schools for the past four years, the writer is aware that there is a need for a program of athletics for all. The program presented in this thesis is the result of investigation and practical experimentation with intramural athletics for boys in the Live Oak Union High School, Morgan Hill, California. Intramural athletics has been much discussed and studied; but there is still need for setting up workable. programs in small high schools; and it is believed that the program here developed will be usable in other small high schools, where situations are similar. During the year 1931-1932, the intramural sports program has been in operation with excellent results, both in participation and interest. A splendid spirit of co-operation among the students has been developed with a great deal of enthusiasm for participation.

Objects are designed on the edge of the designed park, in it’s southern part near the Ostravice river. Object, in which the elementary school is located, lyceum and the sports hall are located on the edge of this park. The kindergarden object is located separately few meters south. The school is rated for 270 children attending the elementary school and for 120 students of the high school. The kindergarden can be attended by up to 75 children.

The purpose of this study is to make a comparative analysis of a representative number of coaches in selected Class "A" and Class "B" high schools of North and East Texas.

The purpose of this study is three-fold; first, to make a census of the 1939-40 head football coaches in the AA high schools of Texas; second, to present facts that might be useful in the vocational and educational guidance of young men who contemplate a coaching career; and third, to preserve brief histories of the head coaches who aided in the formulation and execution of the AA high school football program in Texas during 1939-40.

The purposes of the study were: (1) To determine the status of Texas high school athletic coaches in the period preceding the entrance of America in World War II. (2) To determine the present status of Texas high school athletic coaches. (3) To compare the status held by the coaches in these two periods. (4) To supply information that is pertinent to school administrators concerning the status of high school athletic coaches in Texas. (5) To present facts that may be useful in vocational and educational guidance of young men who contemplate a coaching career.

The purpose of this study is to present comparative analyses relating to personal and professional differences and similarities among football coaches in Class A and Class AA high schools of Texas.

The investigator had the following purposes in undertaking the present study: 1. To determine administrative practices for the conduct of Interscholastic League baseball programs. 2. To determine common practices in coaching baseball in Conference A high schools in Texas. 3. To determine the organization of baseball practice periods.
