Inkludering av elever med funktionsvariation i fritidshemmet : Om de sociala fördelarna med inkludering

Mauno, Elin January 2019 (has links)
“Inclusion of students with functional variation in the leisure home - about the social benefits of inclusion" is a scientific essay on inclusion in the leisure home with a focus on the positive aspects but also a reflection on the more critical voices. The thesis is based on a story which is a compilation of different parts of my professional practice that spans several years. The different parts of the story deal with different situations that were experienced during leisure time and the main characters are Veronica and Benjamin, two students with Downs Syndrome who have been included in the various leisure home departments in different ways. The method chosen is essay writing, where on the one hand I can elucidate and scientifically substantiate what I see as positive aspects of inclusion and on the other critically test my attitude. With the help of relevant literature, I can turn and reverse my dilemma to get different perspectives. My questions are based on the factors that are important for successful integration as well as the gain in including students with functional variations. In my scientific reflection, I have chosen to start by illustrating the concepts of inclusion, integration, normality and deviation, this so that you as a reader will gain an understanding of the rest of the text. Then I continue to highlight the dilemma and problems of inclusion, and I also look at what tools I think are relevant to success in inclusion.
