This thesis follows an issue of gender sensitive parentage. In particular to parents who decided to educate their kids gender sensitively. In the first part it introduces theories of gender socialization and acquiring of gender identity. Further it introduces socialization in family and, in relation it, several social factors. It tries to approach this issue through gender sensitive education. This thesis also takes a deep look to existing approaches and researches of gender sensitive education. The research part of the thesis is based on qualitative analysis of interviews with parents who are trying to educate gender sensitively. This analysis detects how these parents comprehend gender sensitive education, how they make it work, what strategies they bring up, to what situations they get while following this education program and what obstacles they face up. The goal of this dissertation is to transmit the living experience of people who try to educate their children gender sensitively and contribute the development of possibilities allowing free progression to their kids.

Gender in the playground: Ethnographic research This hesis analyses the (re)production of gender stereotypes in the playground. The theoretical framework of the analysis is based on the classical approaches (Renzetti and Curran 2005 Jarkovská 2004) , gender socialization (Giddens 1999, Gilligan 2001 and Bem 2003) and is also inspired by current research on playgrounds (Paetcher, Clark 2003 Millan 2012). The research was conducted at a playground located in Beroun throughout years 2013 and 2014 as a non-participating observation of the visitors of the playground. The work presents a comprehensive view of gender and gender stereotypes reproduced at the playground in two areas: 1) the area of gender stereotypes in the playground reproduced by children and 2) the area of gender stereotypes which adult accompaniment brings to the field. Analysis shows the way in which these categories are (re)constructed and played out in everyday life and how they affect the subculture of the playground. The analysis is mainly based on the surprising finding that the children at the playground were accompanied by almost the same number of men as women. The submitted interdisciplinary dissertation on (outreach) transcendence of the child contains two parts: theoretical and empirical one. The theoretical part analyzes this concept in terms of linguistics, philosophy of education, psychology and religious pedagogy which implies conclusions for education. It also examines the concept of an ideal homo transcendens about which we can speak of a paradoxical and typological significance. In addition to this, the work reflects the care of overlap educators, child and curriculum. The empirical part of this work presents two pre surveys: One on children, the other on adults and children. Here is also presented methodology ready for transcendence term and it has its own specifics in a group interview based on two fictional stories. Qualitative research results are presented in four units: hermeneutical, socializing, emotional- attitudinal and empowermantal. Overlap as part of the education turnover to a child is related to the child together with the turnover in the child and the teacher. The diploma thesis deals with the education and traditions in the municipality of Horní Střítež in a comprehensive context. It presents an image of rural life and factors influencing the development of the village and contemporary life of the residents. Alongside principal education concepts, the thesis draws on an extensive context of findings from other academic disciplines. The first part of the thesis describes the historical context of the events that shaped the development of the municipality. Chapters mapping, in more detail, the current events, with particular emphasis on the role of education in the rural family and in the community, the school system and leisure time follow, highlighting the benefits of the traditional conception of life in the country. Theoretical and methodological aspects as well as the ethical aspect are relevant in the application of the qualitative research method. The diploma thesis analyses the impact of online behaviour on a real life. It is divided into a theoretical (chapters 1 to 3) and practical part (chapters 4 to 7). The first chapter introduces the current trends and generally the topic of social networks, the internet, online communication and relationships. The second chapter describes main forms of cyber antisocial behaviour. The third chapter is focused on the process of socialization and growing up from the point of view of developmental psychology. It also shows individual mental and behavioural frames of the cyber reality which penetrates the real world. The practical part deals in four chapters with different forms of a research which aim was to verify outlined hypotheses and facts mentioned in the theoretical part. The selected methods are quantitative research among high school students distributed through questionnaires, the qualitative interviews among high school teachers and the quantitative analysis of the educational journal. The fourth chapter describes theoretically the methodology of the research. The last three chapters document each part of the research, partially verify the outlined hypothesis and interpret the results.

This dissertation analyzes the trending habits of children as mass-media users. The goal of this dissertation is to show how children use massmedia, what does television mean to them and who are their favourite celebrities. The empirical segment is based on analysis of data taken from questionnaires created purposely for quantitative research. These questionnaires were given to students in the 6th grades of elementary schools and 1st grades of 8-year secondary grammar schools, both in Prague in the Czech Republic. At the beginning, there is a general theoretical part - an overview of mass-communication and its influence on the socialisation of children and a series of advantages and disadvantages of the impact of mass-communication on children and also characteristics of the age group of my respondents. The thesis deals with school maturity, stage of psychological evolution in the preschool and the early school age. The solution will view parents of future pupils from three primary schools Kladno on school readiness and the onset of schooling and in this sense, the results of the survey are compared. The theoretical part will solve the view of a child under school age from various angles, his cognitive development, socialization and the other. Furthermore, I will deal with school maturity and readiness, cognitive, somatic and emotional level of development of the child at the onset of schooling. Three elementary schools, where research was conducted, will be presented in detail .The practical part analyzes the survey, carried out on the day of enrollment in the first grade of Primary School in Kladno, C. Bouda 1188 of 2011, which I repeated three years later and expanded research on Elementary School Kladno, Vašatova and Primary School Kladno, Vodárenská. By gaining survey results from three of parents interested in education of future first-graders is created.

The diploma thesis characterizes the institutions dealing with children with social and cultural disadvantages. Methods that have been used are structured interviews and data analysis. Implemented in four institutions dealing with children with social and cultural disadvantages and four teachers in kindergarten, where the children of the orphanage. Aim of this work was to determine, which institutions for children in distress occur preschool children, what reasons most often comes to the institution and the institution where most leaves. Detects changes, relating to the psychosocial needs of children, that occurred in a children's home in Dolních Pocernicích after 2002. Furthermore compares the differences between children from ordinary families and children from the orphanage attending the same kindergarten. Finally, work is understanding the institutions, that help children who have no such luck in life, such as children with loving parents.

Topic of my thesis covers the analysis of programmes, related to primary prevention within the Liberec region. Theoretical part of my thesis comprises the identification of basic terms that are related to the development of socio-pathological phenomena and risk behaviour of children and youth. Furthermore, the thesis depicts the prevention system, which is focused on primary prevention of the risk behaviour. An important part of the thesis is the primary prevention as a part of the upbringing process. The theoretical part of my thesis ends with a chapter that is dealing with the community planning process of villages. By means of an empiric investigation, practical part of the thesis analyses the situation within the primary prevention at elementary schools, information on the number of providers and programmes for primary prevention are investigated in the thesis as well. Another important output lies within the needs and attitudes of the villages in the given region.
