The diploma thesis deals with the design of a sports center building in the area of the Start stadium in Kiev, using the maximum development area that allows the plots, with regard to distances and protection zones. The territory of the stadium complex is owned by the city of Kiev. In recent years, several projects for the modernization of the sports center have been proposed to the city, but the city has only carried out a partial reconstruction, which concerned only the replacement of the stadium's asphalt paving. The stadium's grandstands have been in need of repair for a long time. The condition of the turf of the football field does not allow football sports events. The park zone does not meet the requirements for the rest of modern man. The stadium complex is located in a densely populated and developing part of the city, with a well-developed transport infrastructure. The location on the mentioned plot of the building of a modern sports complex corresponds to the interests and needs of the inhabitants of the city district and the city.

Diploma project aims at establishing a clear urban conception of city part "Ponava". Priority is maintence of sport`s function based on historical tradition and "genius loci". Project specifically solves the proposal for a new football stadium."

The subject of the project is a consideration of the fact that the area of Ponava is not used sufficiently. This concerns mainly the complex of the former football stadium. The goal is to find a solution that brings life into the area and is able to evaluate the potentials of the place, while not erasing the traces of the past. The main principles used in this project could be patterns how to bring life to other brownfields in Brno and elsewhere.

The thesis deals with the transformation and the new proposal of the functional use of the area Za Lužánkami in the cadastral area Ponava of the Královo Pole district in Brno. The area is defined by the streets Sportovní, Drobného a Tř. Generála Píky. The aim of the thesis is the urban design of the sports and multifunctional complex in Brno for Lužánky and demonstrate the viability and sustainability of the sports complex in the 21st century and the proposal of the contemporary structure of the municipal sports and multifunctional complex including related functions and public space.

Title: Analysis of the ice hockey stadium in Mělník and the proposal of marketing plan Objectives: The aim of this work is to elaborate analyzes of the state of the ice hockey stadium in Melnik and to create a proposal of a marketing plan for the stadium. The plan should serve to a more efficient functioning of the entire ice rink in the following years. Methods: The work analyzes years 2011-2013 where it focuses on the utilization of the ice surface, public skating hours and skating schools and analysis revenues and expenditures in the same period. Interviewing visitors, and competitive analysis of stadiums around Melnik were carried out. All values obtained from analyzes were subsequently compared with the national average values obtained from KPMG research. Results: The analyses identified the potential in greater efficiency of utilization of the ice surface and rental of advertising space. When comparing public financing is Melnik's stadium to the national average in the same size cities it turns out that Melnik's stadium is underfunded. Master thesis elaborates architectural study of football stadium for FC Zbrojovka Brno, which base is urban study of the Sport Centre behind Lužánky. Football stadium creates a main dominant of the area. The proposal satisfies requirements by ČMFS and UEFA's major league stadium 3rd category with some elements of the Elite category. The architectural expression of the football stadium and its volume solution is based on the morphology of sports buildings. Based on the shape of the auditorium. Individual sides of the auditorium are curved and connected by a quarter-circle corner. Arena auditorum arrangement enhances not only the audience but the gaming experience too. The external appearance of the stadium is due to the support structure of the roofing that creates division of the fasade which is filled by ETFE foil with reinforcements of glass fiber fabric. The capacity of the football stadion is designed for a total of 15 000 spectators. Of these, 160 seats are reserved for spectators whit impaired mobility and orientation and accompaniment and 340 VIP seats. The rest is devided into two grandstand, lower one has 8 200 seats, upper one 6 300 seats.

This thesis analyze the conception of the sport centre in Brno za Lužánkami. The area has a very extensive sport history, which dates back to 1922. Nowadays this topic has been very discussed because of the hockey and football history in the place of Lužánky. Hockey and football teams were forced to abandon Lužánky as a consequence of decrepitude and very bad technical aspects of the buildings. The diploma thesis deals with the new concept of the entire area where the professional and leisure sport activities will take place. The extensive architectural study of the multifunctional hockey stadium resolves the location of the object on the same place as the previous stadium. It put emphasis on the generous scattering area around the stadium, easy navigation and placement of the entrances from all around the object. The multifunctional usage of the stadium is solved by the telescopic grandstand and it offers the standard capacity of 10 500 spectators at a hockey match and up to 14 300 spectators at a concert event. The main expression element of the exterior of the stadium are the facade lamellas. They accentuate the ground floor with their dynamic placing and clearly indicate the main entrances to the object. In the night the glasses lamellas are shined by the integrated LED lights and enable to switch endless different faces of the stadium according by the current occasion.

Aim of the final thesis is to create proposal and static assessment of supporting steel roof structure of sports stadium according to the proposed disposition. Climatic load (snow and wind) is determined for location Kopřivnice. The thesis consists of technical report, static report of main supporting parts and chosen connections, bill of material quantities, technical report with comparison of 2 options solution and drawing documentation. Computational model for evaluation of internal forces is realized in Dlubal RSTAB 8.06 software. Static report is created manually according to valid European standards.

This diploma thesis ,,Optimization of the parking plannig and calculation“ is focused to the problem of determining the number of parking spaces. The goal of this thesis is to update purpose units in the selected buildings and optimization of factors in calculating the parking spaces. The fírst part of work consist of compared calculation car parking spaces to the Czech standards with standards in other countries. The second part of work is focused of comparison of calculated parking places according to standards with real number of parking places. The last part of diploma thesis is concentrated to optimizing the reduction factors.
