SammandragDet har talats om en litterär kanon som tagit stort utrymme i gymnasieskolans svenskundervisning. Detta examensarbete är en undersökning där gymnasieelever som studerar på ett praktiskt gymnasieprogram pressenteras för August Strindbergs text Inferno medierat utifrån tre olika medier. Strindberg tillhör vad somliga kallar en kanon. Utifrån detta undersöker jag Strindbergs relevans och medieringens betydelse. Frågestälningarna som ligger till grund för undersökningen är:Vad knyter eleverna an till i Inferno?Hur responderar eleverna på medieringen?Vilken relevans har August Strindberg i svenskundervisningen på praktiska gymnasieutbildningar utifrån resultatet av undersökningen? Metoderna för att besvara frågestälningarna är enkät, observation och kvalitativ intervju. Eleverna pressenteras för Strindbergs Inferno i formen av ett undervisningsförsök. Därefter tolkas det empiriska materalet utifrån teorier kring svenskundervisning på praktiska gymnasieutbildningar, det vidgade textbegreppet, högt och lågt samt genus. I resultatet av undersökningen framgår Strindbergs relevans på praktiska gymnasieutbildningar samt medieringens betydelse. Nyckelord: Strindberg, mediering, det vidgade textbegreppet

This study embarks on an art-historical exploration of August Strindberg's connections with various artistic movements, specifically Realism, Post-Impressionism, and Expressionism. It aims to deepen the understanding of the influence these movements had on Strindberg's creative output and how his artistic works, in turn, mirrored and contributed to the development of artistic trends. The study begins by situating Strindberg within the Realism context, analyzing his representation of nature through a formal analysis lens, and drawing parallels with the broader philosophical reflections inherent in Realist art. It then transitions to an examination of Post-Impressionism, unveiling Strindberg's engagement with the movement's dynamic use of color and his manipulation of form to evoke emotional resonance. Furthermore, the study delves into an analysis of Strindberg's interactions with Expressionist artistic currents, thus emphasizing his further evolution of artistic style in terms of emotional intensity and personal expressions of the artist. The concluding section discusses findings aimed at characterizing Strindberg's painting as a form of distinct individuality, though rooted in the artistic currents of his time. It is suggested that further research into Strindberg's integration of these movements could illuminate his role as a precursor to contemporary artistic expressions, potentially influencing subsequent art forms.  Thus, the study presents a concise comprehensive analysis of August Strindberg's mastery within the context of significant artistic movements, proposing that his work resonates with the aesthetic and emotional undercurrents of his era and transcends them to offer a unique perspective on the evolution of modern art.

The first chapter is my analysis of the work, following the model of the writers Anne Goliot-Lété and Francis Vanoye, and the second chapter discusses the critical texts, analysis and interviews connected to the film. I also discussed the difficulties related to the interpretation of movies, and I tried in my own analysis to be very close to the movie itself, despite the tentations to invent more. / A pesquisa tem como objetivo fazer uma análise estilístico-temática do filme Persona, de Ingmar Bergman, 1966. O primeiro capítulo é a minha análise da obra, seguindo o modelo dos escritores Anne Goliot-Lété e Francis Vanoye, e o segundo trata da discussão de textos críticos, de análises e entrevistas ligados à obra. Busquei nesse trabalho discutir as dificuldades ligadas à interpretação de uma obra cinematográfica, atendo-me à questão de não deixar de lado a leitura do filme em si, a despeito das tentações que certos temas e rastros estilísticos podem despertar.

La presente investigación aborda cómo el dramaturgo sueco August Strindberg intentó modificar la tragedia en su célebre obra La señorita Julia, a través de cambiar aspectos claves en ella como el héroe trágico que busca su felicidad, la unidad de acción y los diálogos al servicio de esta. En este camino el dramaturgo fue más allá, y, sin proponérselo, logró un nuevo tipo de escritura teatral denominado drama moderno. A partir del contraste con la idea de tragedia propia del tiempo del dramaturgo, de la oposición con la forma del drama burgués de la época, y de diversos estudios científicos del momento, la tesis ofrece un análisis exhaustivo del texto dramático en el cual encuentra que el autor propone a un complejo personaje con rasgos de impersonaje, un diálogo irregular intrasubjetivo que recurre al monólogo y una sutil presencia del autor en el texto. De este modo, la tesis sostiene que La señorita Julia propone un nuevo tipo de dramaturgia caracterizada por la suspensión de la acción dramática y la presencia de lo íntimo.
