Hromádková, Karolína January 2016 (has links)
The objective of the thesis is description of a new position of a peer consultant in the area of the mental health care from the view of a working team into which he enters. Furthermore, the thesis wants to submit a report about the form of this role abroad and about specific factors during his implementation into the team. The research methods that were used: interview according to guideline, nonparticipant structured observation of team meetings and time axis. Data from interviews were processed by inductive method inspired by grounded theory (open, axial and selective coding). The research question was focused on the process, positives and difficulties during integration of the peer worker into the working team. Research proved that the main obstacles in the successful integration of a peer were insufficient and quick preparation of a team on the peer position; absence of the social workers during the recruitment; bad technical equipment; lack of clients suitable for peer and personal discrepancy between a peer and the rest of a working team. On the contrary, the factors that acted favourably were workshops of the team with more experienced...

NATO a postkonfliktní rekonstrukce: případ Afghánistánu / NATO and post-conflict reconstruction: the case of Afghanistan

Žilka, Jakub January 2015 (has links)
This paper deals with the post-conflict reconstruction in Afghanistan after the NATO-invasion at the end of 2001 and its success. To ensure the stability of the country, the NATO-led coalition had not only to overthrow the Taliban regime, but also to create basic government structures and help them perform. Reconstruction is of course very common and necessary after conflict, it is however usually operated by strictly civilian measures, e. g. government institutions and humanitarian organisations. In this case, however, such approach was not possible due to volatile security situation, which in some areas grew to such intensity, it essentially became a war-conflict again. This paper focuses on the Herat province and NATO units, especially under ISAF command. It seeks to define the process of post-conflict reconstruction and using the process-tracing method, it then ascertains the extent to which ISAF units dedicated themselves to post-conflict reconstruction and made a positive progress in this area. I analyse the beginning of OEF and ISAF operations, mandate's extensions, the reasons for deployment in Afghanistan and the development of the security situation in country. The main part of this thesis is the deployment of German army within new ISAF strategy in Afghanistan, which was declared by American president Barack Obama in 2009. The thesis focuses on the attitude of Germany to the most important events in this period, for example to the declaration of new ISAF strategy, to international conference on Afghanistan in London, to transition to afghan lead, to the leaving of the international troops and to support after the year...

Optimalizace tvorby konstrukčních týmů pomocí genetických algoritmů / Optimalization of Constructional Teams Creation by Genetic Algorithms

Špaček, Jiří January 2010 (has links)
The thesis pertains to optimisation of workgroups in companies. It is based on the work of Dr. Meredith Belbin from the Henley Management College, who is the author of the so-called Belbin’s team role theory. The theory defines fundamental roles within a team including specifications of the behavioural patterns while stipulating that in order to ensure proper functionality of a team, it is essential for all the roles to be represented in it. However, in practice it is necessary for specific people to comply not only with certain personal and psychological requirements but also professional expertise and other requirements. Nevertheless, by the means of adding these parameters to specific people, an enormous number of possible alternatives of the resulting team, which may not be evaluated (easily and in the real time) using traditional methods, proves to come to existence. Therefore, the so-called genetic algorithms inspired by natural development processes originally described by J. G. Mendel and Ch. Darwin were selected for evaluation purposes. The genetic algorithms feature good solutions to the task to be resolved in a very short time while the task does not have to be based on exact specifications and therefore several solutions might exist. A Java application was created within the scope of the thesis; its core comprises a genetic algorithm and it was used for the purpose of modelling of specific teams. The results provided by the application were subsequently verified by the means of creation of teams used for completion of new tasks and monitoring their activities in practice. Furthermore, the model verification of teams previously created solely on the basis of experience of executives was performed and the respective results were compared.

Koučování jako způsob řešení týmových problémů / Coaching as a mean of solving problems in team functioning

Nováková, Linda January 2012 (has links)
The main aim of the work is a closer examination of team cooperation issues, and evaluation team coaching efficiency as a tool of prevention or of subsequent team problems solving. Formally, the text is divided to two elemental parts. The first one is comprised of theoretical framework of team coaching. There is a principal of team functioning explained, difference from a group and possible dangers that are connected with effective team functioning. Further on, the work describes basic coaching theories, principles, structuring, procedures and a partial framework definition, where the coaching implication is desirable and where it is not. Team coaching is here introduced as not particularly specific branch of coaching, attention to it is paid mostly from a methodological point of view. Student coaching and school team coaching issues are also a part of the work, which is followed by the empirical section. The empirical part consists of a basic evaluation of the pilot project, which subject was team coaching in high schools. Such a project has not had a parallel in the Czech Republic so far. Its primary part therefore worked not only as a coaching application test on class teams, but also as verification of a tool for such a project evaluation.
