The diploma thesis deals with teachers' approach to pupils suffering from epilepsy, i.e. in what manner and to what extent the teachers' behaviour towards such pupils is affected by their knowledge, attitudes and self-confidence. The thesis aims to explore and describe teachers' theoretical knowledge about pupils suffering from epilepsy and their ability to implement this knowledge in the class. The thesis also finds out about the extent of teachers' confidence about the issue and their views on the disease. The thesis has been divided into two parts, theoretical and research. The theoretical part includes theory relating to epilepsy, as well as studies on teachers' knowledge and attitudes towards pupils suffering from epilepsy both in the Czech Republic and abroad, including the teacher's approach to a pupil suffering from epilepsy. The research part provides assessment of how much the teachers teaching pupils with epilepsy know about the disease, using psychometric evaluated instruments. The research part also presents results on teachers' attitudes towards epilepsy measured by the ATPE questionnaire, which is a psychometric evaluated instrument. The conclusion discusses and compares the acquired results with foreign literature.

I läroplanen för förskolan betonas starkt att barn ska ha inflytande över sin utbildning i förskolan samt att de ska utveckla adekvat digital kompetens. Min studie syftar till att bidra med kunskaper om hur förskollärare skapar möjligheter för de yngsta barnen att få inflytande i relation till digitala redskap. Begreppet inflytande betyder att barnen ska få sina röster hörda efter intresse och behov. Inflytande skapas genom att barnen får vara med att påverka innan aktiviteten genomförs och under tiden den pågår. Jag har genomfört semistrukturerade intervjuer i två olika kommuner med fyra verksamma förskollärare. Intervjuerna har spelats in och data har transkriberats samt analyserats utifrån det sociokulturella perspektivet. Resultaten i denna studie visar hur förskollärare kan skapa möjligheter för de yngsta barnen att få inflytande i sitt användande av digitala redskap. Resultatet visar att de yngsta barnens inflytande i användandet av digitala redskap varierar utifrån aktuella sociala och fysiska förutsättningar. Utifrån de styrdokument som reglerar barns demokratiska rättigheter i förskolan, får inte alltid de yngsta barnen inflytande i användandet av digitala redskap. De begreppen som valdes ut från den sociokulturella teorin för att tolka datamaterialet och skapa förståelse är artefakter, proximal utvecklingszon och scaffolding. / The governing document for the preschool strongly emphasizes that children should have influence over their education in preschool and that they should develop adequate digital skills. My study aims to contribute knowledge about how preschool teachers create opportunities for the youngest children to gain influence in relation to digital competence. The concept of influence means that the children should have their voices heard according to interests and needs. Influence is created by the children being able to influence before the activity is conducted and during it. I have conducted semi-structured interviews in two different municipalities with four preschool teachers. The interviews have been recorded, transcribed, and analyzed based on the sociocultural theory. The result of this study shows how the preschool teachers can create possibilities for the youngest children to have influence in their use of digital tools. Based on the curriculum for the preschool and the governing documents that regulate children´s democratic rights, the youngest children do not always have an influence in the use of digital tools. The concept selected from the sociocultural theory to interpret the data and create understanding were the artefacts, the zon of proximal development and scaffolding.

Studiens syfte är att beskriva hur förskollärare erfar sina möjligheter att påverka barns självkänsla. För att bidra med ökad kunskap och förståelse kring arbetet med att stärka barns självkänsla, då det påverkar barns inflytande och delaktighet i sin vardag som är en del av förskolans demokratiuppdrag. Intervjuer används som metod för att undersöka förskollärarnas upplevelser samt vilka möjligheter och utmaningar de ser i arbetet med barns självkänsla. Det framkommer i analysen att förskollärarnas förhållningsätt är en viktig faktor i arbetet med barns självkänsla. Förhållningsättet ligger till grund för hur förskollärarna bygger upp relationer och samsynen förskollärarna får om barn. Förskollärarna beskriver samsynen som betydelsefull där en gemensam barnsyn och arbetssätt i arbetslaget upplevs gynna barns skapande av en god självkänsla och tilltro till den egna förmågan. Vidare visar analysen att förhållningsättet som förskollärarna väljer speglar hur de verkar som förebilder och ger barn förutsättningar till att tro på sig själva. Vilket gör det möjligt för barn att skapa förmågor till att våga göra sin röst hörd, för att vara delaktiga och få inflytande i utbildningen. / The purpose of the study is to describe how preschool teachers experience their opportunities to influence children's self-esteem. To contribute with increased knowledge and understanding of the work to strengthen children's self-esteem, as it affects children's influence and participation in their everyday lives, which is part of the preschool's democracy mission. Interviews are used as a method to investigate the preschool teachers' experiences and what opportunities and challenges they see in working with children's self-esteem. It appears from the analysis that the preschool teachers' approach is an important factor in the work on children's self-esteem. The approach forms the basis for how preschool teachers build relationships and the consensus preschool teachers get about children.The preschool teachers describe the consensus as important where a common view and working methods in the work team are perceived to favor children's creation of a good self-esteem and confidence in their own abilities. Furthermore, the analysis shows that the approach that preschool teachers choose reflects how they act as role models and gives children the conditions to believe in themselves. Which makes it possible for children to create the abilities to dare to make their voice heard, to be involved and gain influence in education.

My diploma thesis focuses on the approach to family related curriculum at primary school. The theoretical part includes analysis of contemporary view of family in terms of psychology and sociology, summary of possible problems connected with the family related curriculum, some recommendations how to approach the family related curriculum and analysis of approach to this curriculum in FEP EE, three school education programmes and three sets of textbooks from primary education. The practical part examines the approach to family related curriculum from students' of teaching point of view.
