<p>Målet med vårt examensarbete har varit att på uppdrag från United Computer Systems skapa ett program som kopplar samman Visma SPCS och MS Outlook. Anledningen till detta program har varit att utöka den begränsade kontakthanteringen som finns i Visma SPCS. I större affärssystem blir det allt vanligare att så kallade CRM system integreras. Dock saknas oftast bra kontakthantering i lösningar som riktar sig till mindre företag. Genom att koppla samman SPCS med Outlook, ger det användaren möjligheter att lagra mer djupgående information om kunder, deras kontaktpersoner och leveransadresser.</p><p>Programmet har utformats i Borland Delphi och vi beskriver i denna rapport hur vi gått till väga för att skapa ett program som uppfyller vår uppdragsgivares önskemål vad gäller användbarhet och användarvänlighet.</p><p>Vi beskriver även några av de grundläggande begreppen för vårt projekt, så som Screen scraping och API för SPCS och Windows.</p>

Innovation is most commonly associated with the process of implementing useful ideas to create value-added products, services and processes in an organization. However, creativity comes first as a fundamental part of the innovation process and essentially a precondition for innovation. Therefore, this thesis will look into the IT company, Visma Enterprise, more specifically their Latvian division, and investigate how they can promote creativity within their organization.  The aim of the study is to determine what type of activities and factors would support creativity and innovation in Visma Enterprise.  In order to evaluate the current situation at Visma Enterprise authors used Ekvall Situational Outlook Questionnaire and found that employees have lack of motivation and that they have problems with communication between teams. To improve the current situation authors suggested that by organizing activities like hackathons to train employees, guide them through the process and show them what is expected from them and how it can be achieved.

I databasapplikationer är det viktigt att kunna minska belastningen på en databas i syfte att minska responstiden. Detta kan exempelvis åstadkommas med hjälp av olika metoder för temporär lagring av data, något som studerats i detta arbete. De metoder som utvärderats och jämförts i detta arbete är Redis och memcached. Utvärderingen jämförde Redis och memcached med avseende på minnesanvändning, CPU-användning och tidsåtgång för hämtning av data i respektive cache. Dessa egenskaper beräknades med hjälp av verktygen SYSSTAT och valgrind. Det visade sig i slutändan att den interna fragmenteringen i memcached är dess största nackdel, medan Redis är något långsammare än memcached när det gäller att hämta stora mängder data. Utifrån de resultat som anskaffats var det tänkt att använda den metod som är mest lämpad för SysPartners ändamål, vilket ansågs vara Redis.

Employees today have necessary daily tasks that do not require human handling. The objective is to investigate two processes if they are suitable for automation as well as to create and evaluate a prototype. The goals are to analyze the process, examine appropriate tools for automation, compare the tools, create and evaluate prototype, and perform an acceptance test. Robotic Process Automation is about automating tasks that humans have to do. Good candidates for automation are time-consuming, repetitive, rule-based tasks, prone to human er- rors with clear goals and expectations. The preliminary study was conducted in the form of a literature study of web-based sources, and the analysis was done by breaking down the process in different parts. The comparison was carried out by investigating the features of these tools. The prototype was created on Windows in UiPath tools and the robot will work on Internet Explorer and Excel, which will have a macro written in Visual Basic for Applications. The client will look at the criteria given and also on the prototype output and provide a subjective response. UiPath, Workfusion, and Selenium test programs were created. The prototype automatically logs on to Visma PX by entering username and password. Then it navigates, searches for an assignment and retrieves the data available. Indata is filtered and typed into Excel for each activity and employee. Finally, a macro creates graphs. Time tests show that UiPath is significantly more optimized and faster at completing the test programs. UiPath has strong benefits with its tools. / Anställda idag har nödvändiga vardagsuppgifter som inte kräver mänsklig inverkan och tanken är att frigöra dessa uppgifter. Projektets övergripande syfte är att undersöka två processer om de är lämpliga för automation samt att skapa och utvärdera en prototyp. Målen är att analysera processen, undersöka lämpliga verktyg för automatisering, jämföra verktygen, skapa en prototyp, utvärdera prototypen och utföra ett acceptanstest. Robotic Process Automation handlar om att automatisera uppgifter som människor gör. Bra kandidater för automatisering är tidskrävande, repetitiva, regelbaserade uppgifter, benägna till mänskliga fel med klara mål och förväntningar. Förstudien genomfördes i form av en litteraturstudie av webbaserade källor och analysen gjordes genom att bryta ner processen i olika delar. Jämförelsen genomfördes genom att undersöka de funk- tioner som verktygen har. Prototypen skapas på Windows i verktygen UiPath och roboten kommer att arbeta på Internet Explorer och mot Excel som kommer ha ett makro skrivet i Visual Basic for Applications. Beställaren kommer att titta på de kriterier som gavs och även på prototypens utdata och ge en subjektiv respons. Testprogrammen i UiPath, Workfusion och Selenium skapades med sina respektive funktioner. Prototypen loggar automatiskt in på Visma PX genom att skriva in användarnamn och lösenord. Sedan navigerar den i verktyget, söker på ett uppdrag och hämtar den data som finns. Indata filtreras och skrivs in i Excel för varje aktivitet och anställd. Slutligen körs ett makro som skapar grafer. Tidstesterna visar att UiPath är betydligt mer optimerad och snabbare på att slutföra testprogrammen. Jämförelserna visar att UiPath har starka fördelar med sitt verktyg.

The ability to reach a wider public using the Internet has brought the world a wide varietyof online retailers offering their customers to purchase almost anything from the comfortof their home. With this increase in online retailing, a need for automation has been developedby the users. To be able to decrease the administrative tasks to a bare minimum allowsretailers to focus on their core business instead. With this new request for automation, businesssystems are becoming more and more popular and to be able to integrate the web sitewith a business system results in lower administrative workload. A variety of systems arealready available for the public to use for integrating a web shop to a number of differentbusiness systems. These systems are however often restrictive and will provide a frameworkfor developing the web shop themselves. One web content management system that lacksthis kind of support is SiteVision. On behalf of Soleil IT, a Proof of Concept was developedto investigate the feasibility of integrating a web shop developed in SiteVision, with a businesssystem for automation of administrative tasks. The implementation included featuressuch as retrieving products from the business system and displaying them on the web site,and the ability to purchase a set of products which should generate an order in the businesssystem. RESTful web services was used to transmit data between the business system andthe web shop. This project resulted in a successful integration of the business system VismaAdministration and a web shop developed in SiteVision. The project showed the feasibilityof performing such an integration and also exposed any restrictions that the setup may have.
