This Master's thesis examines options to advance reading literacy in schools with alternative education. Thesis is focused on teachers work and used methods. The aim of the thesis was to determine, how schools using alternative educational programs support the reading literacy. Theoretical part explores reading literacy, characteristics of alternative educational programs and schools -Montessori, Waldorf, Dalton and program Step by Step. It specifies RWCT - reading and writing to critical thinking program and method of advancement reading literacy and reading. The practical part evaluates surveys filled by teachers from alternative schools and teachers using alternative educational programs. Survey is focused on teacher's job, utilization of RWCT method in schools, working with reading literacy and support of reading.

En el 2020, el vínculo docente – estudiante, se enmarca en un contexto de emergencia
sanitaria por la pandemia del COVID – 19. Las clases presenciales cambian a la
modalidad a distancia. Esta investigación busca observar cómo se desenvuelve dicho
vínculo desde una dimensión emocional y cognitiva relacionada al aprendizaje de la
Educación Artística de Enfoque Waldorf, considerando que el uso de las TIC se
contrapone con la identidad Waldorf. Este trabajo tiene como objetivo general analizar
las características que presenta el vínculo docente - estudiante en la modalidad a
distancia para el aprendizaje de la Educación Artística con enfoque Waldorf de nivel
secundaria, en una IEP de Lima – Perú. Sus objetivos específicos son describir las
características que presenta la dimensión emocional de dicho vínculo e identificar las
características que presenta la dimensión cognitiva del mismo. El enfoque es
cualitativo, de nivel descriptivo y emplea un método de estudio de caso. La información
es recogida mediante entrevistas semiestructuradas aplicadas a docentes tutores y
estudiantes de secundaria de un colegio Waldorf de Lima; y por una observación no
participante aplicada a la coordinadora artística. Los resultados indican un vínculo
emocional cercano, confiable, seguro, empático y motivador. Se recomienda seguir
cuidando las características que dan identidad a este enfoque y se sugiere hacer
mejoras para estar preparados, si en un futuro el uso de esta modalidad se vuelve a
considerar. / In 2020, the teacher-student bond is framed in a context of health emergency owed to
the COVID-19 pandemic. Face-to-face classes change to distance learning. This
research seeks to observe how this bond develops from an emotional and cognitive
dimension related to the learning of Artistic Education with a Waldorf Approach,
considering that the use of ICT is opposed to the Waldorf identity. The general
objective of this work is to analyze the characteristics of the teacher-student bond in
the distance modality for the learning of Artistic Education with a Waldorf approach at
the secondary level, in an IEP in Lima - Peru. Its specific objectives are to describe the
characteristics that the emotional dimension of said bond presents and to identify the
characteristics that its cognitive dimension presents as well. The approach is
qualitative, descriptive level and employs a case study method. The information is
collected through semi-structured interviews applied to tutor teachers and secondary
students at a Waldorf school in Lima; as well as a non-participant observation applied
to the art coordinator. The results indicate a close, reliable, secure, empathetic and
motivating emotional bond. And a cognitive bond that accompanies the learning
rhythms individually and in groups, giving them constant feedback. It is recommended
to continue taking care of the characteristics that give identity to this approach and it is
suggested to make improvements to be prepared, if in the future the use of this
modality is considered again.

本文從對環境危機的關懷切入,討論人類中心論如何造成人類對大自然的恣意剝削與破壞,包括基督教義、理性主義、機械世界觀等等,使人類將自然界當作實現個人利益的工具。隨之而起的是「生態中心的轉向」,人類逐漸把自己看做是更大尺度主體的一份子,大自然本身應該是一個具備自我組織與生發能力的有機體,其中每一個組成份子都有其價值與意義。
生態中心論包括大地倫理學、深層生態學及蓋婭理論,其對於大自然與人類的觀點,以及環境倫理的看法,與中國的道家哲學十分相近。於是本文接著從道家思想中,闡明其與生態中心論共通之處。最終得出三個要點,堪做為環境教育的啟示:
1.人應領悟到自身與大自然之間密不可分的關係,並且尋回其間的連結。
2.人應有充分的機會體驗這種連結,並致力回復大自然運作的規律。
3.人應努力實踐自身與大自然的共生;達到逍遙無為的和諧自由之境。
從這三點出發,筆者認為一切的環境教育與環保作為,在知其然之外,更重要的是知其所以然。人既然與自然性本一體,就應該從這一點出發建構環境教育的核心基礎。於是提出召喚、共鳴與覺醒的三個步驟。
召喚原則對應的是人是否具備真誠面對自身生命狀態的品質;而在教育原理中,必須重視啟發性的原則,透過故事、感動的經驗、美好的圖像、與大自然親密的互動等等,喚起個體內在與大自然的本來連結。
第二步驟,是讓個體盡可能地經驗大自然與人類之間密不可分的關係,以及大自然如何以極度的包容性與豐富性,含納萬物。其中對應到的人性品質是「愛」,一種一體感與連結感的體驗。體驗性是其中必要的教育原則。
最後,在了悟天人合一、物我和諧的真相之後,個體便可以達到充分認識自己與自然、以及界限所在的「覺醒」狀態,其中隱含的人性品質為「自由」。儘管自由是不易達到的,但個體在覺醒的狀況下實踐自身最大的利益,亦是充滿意義的奮鬥過程;也因此,到了這一步,環境教育可以真正讓一個置身大自然中的人類,清楚而堅定地為保護環境獻身。
整體而言,本文嘗試建構一個環境教育的進路,使自然中的小生命,回歸到生命與自然的真實面貌,並從此一更深廣的本質出發,以達到最終生命意義的實現。而第五章討論之華德福教育中的環境教育觀,亦為本文之結論提供旁證。 / To look for a proper approach of environmental education, through concerning recent worldly crisis, the study take three aspects of seeing the relation between human beings and the nature, as the source of homo-centrism. They are Christian, Rationalism and mechanical paradigm of science.
Composite to the points of human-centrism, eco-centrism, including “land ethics”, “deep ecology” and “Gaia theory”, arose as a reflection to see the nature as more holistic and lively system. The ancient Chinese philosophy, Daoism, corresponds eco-centrism on a higher and more self-realizing level. These two theories, eco-centrism and Daoism, both dedicate an approach of environmental education to the common nature of human and the nature itself. Only through define selfness as part of nature, human beings will take responsibility for environment. The task of education is to recall the same essence of the nature and human beings, and experience it plenty, then to reach a clear conscious of being in nature.
The approach of teaching and curriculum of Waldorf Steiner school is taken as an example to reflect three concepts held by the author. These three concepts raised, initiating, experiencing and practicing, are the conclusion of this study.

Model Pohyblivé třídy v současné waldorfské škole / Movable Classroom Concept in contemporary Waldorf SchoolŠedivá, Marta January 2017 (has links)
This master thesis introduces innovative approach to teaching practice at Waldorf schools, the so called movable classroom. This model originates in German Waldorf schools, primarily from Rudolf Steiner Schule in Bochum. Its main specific is furnishing the classroom with movable equipment, which creates the possibility for greater variability in organizing the space by implementation of weekly outdoor learning and change in the timing set up of teaching units. The research question of this work is meaningfulness of the movable classroom model, it specifically concerns itself with the question, whether it is possible to observe the benefits of movable classroom model for physical, psychological, social and cognitive development of children, while teacher simultaneously takes into account the current limitations of this model. Following observation in the classrooms, which work according to this model and researching contemporary literature, individual categories of both benefits and risks have been specified. Through follow up interviews with teachers, these categories are verified and exactified through actual situations, the research question is answered and further possibilities for working with this model in Czech Waldorf schools are explored.

The diploma thesis deals with the educational influence of the subject of creative drama on psychosocial development of pupils with special learning difficulties (SLD) on 1st grade of Waldorf school. The work is focused mainly on the development of communication skills, respecting the boundaries, instructions and cooperation in the classroom using methods and techniques of drama education with pupils with SLD in 2nd half of 2nd grade and 1st half of 3rd class. The theoretical part defines the four basic parts of this diploma thesis psychosocial development of children of younger school age, special learning difficulties (SLD), accompanying phenomena and their influence on the psychosocial development of the child, characteristics of Waldorf school, methods and techniques of drama education. The practical part deals with the development of communication, cooperation, observance of rules, understanding of the topic and the ability of its interpretation of individuals and the whole group in the lessons of creative drama. In the lessons, we experienced key themes of the Waldorf School. The whole process is recorded and evaluated using record sheets from each lesson.

The thesis is focused on a subjective perspective of students from Faculty of Education of University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice on attitudes in education and on potential application of these methods in their practise. In this thesis is covered general exploration which characterizes particular types of alternative schools and alternative approaches in the process of education. Data were gained from questionnaire and with usage of didactical test. On research were participated 139 students from Faculty od Education of University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. In the result part are covered finding outs which refer to fact that most of students would use alternative attitudes during their practise even if only small part of them have ever visited any of alternative schools. The higher percentage of respondents answered that they have only limited information about alternative education which was verified by didactical test. The average access from the test was 50%.

This diploma thesis is devoted to the application of drama in German language teaching at Waldorf school. The content itself provides a theoretical insight into the basic concepts and principles of drama education and foreign language teaching at primary school. For the sake of clarity and understanding, these basic levels related to the subject are more elaborated in the introductory chapters. The theoretical part also includes chapters related to Waldorf pedagogy and its basic principles. In the practical part, one of the main objectives was to verify whether methods of dramatic education in German language teaching could support the pupil's ability to express themselves, with an emphasis on the verbal component. The work also includes description and reflection of three lessons, the aim of which was to find out whether the selected methods of drama in foreign language teaching have an impact on pupils' ability to communicate effectively and on the overall outcome of the learning process. At the end of the thesis are described findings, which confirm the benefits of including elements of drama education in foreign language teaching, and also where their influence manifested most.
