Proměny partnerství, manželství a rodiny / The changes of a partnership, marriage and family

TRŮBLOVÁ, Markéta January 2010 (has links)
This diploma work deals with the attitudes of public to transformation in a partnership, marriage and family. The theoretical part explains the terms of a marriage and family. It describes the traditional, modern and postmodern family and its forms. Next it characterizes the role of a man and a woman in the family, work distribution between partners and it points out the ethical aspects of today{\crq}s family transformation. The practical part tries to find out whether the choice of a traditional marriage, modern partner ship or postmodern alternatives of living together will be influenced by respondentsˇpersonal experience, their age and their sex.

Coordination from an Awareness perspective : Mechanisms and techniques for Awareness based Coordination support.

Arvidsson, Viktor January 2009 (has links)

When a task becomes shared the need for coordination arises. One fundamental factor for coordination is awareness. This study aimed to answer the question of how awareness-based coordination support systems could increase the efficiency in the processing of tasks generated by the Customer Support Unit in Skellefteå municipality, ultimately creating a better work situation for the officers responsible for the handling of tasks and increasing the service level for the customers of their services. This question was answered by conducting interviews, observing system usage and through analysis of pre-existing interviews from earlier studies of the municipality’s CSU project. This study shows that there are aspects in the task management that are in need of coordination support and presents a task classification system based on the logistic nature of the task. Furthermore this paper identifies the main problems related to the current task management and from an awareness perspective discusses and outlines various mechanisms and techniques to address these problems. Alongside these problems the general lack of coordination support in the current Document and Workflow System (FlexiteBPMS) is approached. Furthermore all outlined proposals share the common aspiration of lessening the burden for the officers without simply shifting the workload onto other units in the workflow chain.

Stochastická dynamika a energetika biomolekulárních systémů / Stochastic dynamics and energetics of biomolecular systems

Ryabov, Artem January 2014 (has links)
Title: Stochastic dynamics and energetics of biomolecular systems Author: Artem Ryabov Department: Department of Macromolecular Physics Supervisor: prof. RNDr. Petr Chvosta, CSc., Department of Macromolecular Physics Abstract: The thesis comprises exactly solvable models from non-equilibrium statistical physics. First, we focus on a single-file diffusion, the diffusion of particles in narrow channel where particles cannot pass each other. After a brief review, we discuss open single-file systems with absorbing boundaries. Emphasis is put on an interplay of absorption process at the boundaries and inter-particle entropic repulsion and how these two aspects affect the dynam- ics of a given tagged particle. A starting point of the discussions is the exact distribution for the particle displacement derived by order-statistics argu- ments. The second part of the thesis is devoted to stochastic thermodynam- ics. In particular, we present an exactly solvable model, which describes a Brownian particle diffusing in a time-dependent anharmonic potential. The potential has a harmonic component with a time-dependent force constant and a time-independent repulsive logarithmic barrier at the origin. For a particular choice of the driving protocol, the exact work characteristic func- tion is obtained. An asymptotic analysis of...

Kinetics and thermodynamics of unfolding processes in DNA molecules with several conformational states: theory and experiments

Nostheide, Sandra 15 October 2014 (has links)
The modelling of single-molecule experiments is of vital interest to gain new insights into processes which were hitherto not accessible by measurements performed on bulk systems. In the first part of this thesis, the kinetics of a triple-branch DNA molecule with four conformational states is investigated by employing pulling experiments with optical tweezers and theoretical modelling. Probability distributions of first rupture forces, which are calculated by applying transition rate theory to a free energy model, show good agreement with experimental findings. Permanently frayed molecules could be identified by analysing the number of opening base pairs in force jumps. In the second part of the thesis, DNA hairpin molecules with periodic base sequences are studied. Their unfolding kinetics allows an analytical treatment, because they exhibit a regular coarse-grained free energy landscape as a function of the number of opened base pairs. A procedure is developed for determining all relevant parameters of the landscape, which relies on probabilities that can be easily sampled from the unfolding trajectories. By means of Monte Carlo simulations it is shown that already 300 trajectories, as typically measured in single-molecule experiments, provide faithful results for the energetic parameters. The approach in particular opens a new access to improve loop contributions in the free energy landscape. In the third part of the thesis, a simulation method is developed for modelling the unfolding kinetics of DNA molecules with arbitrary base sequences. The method is validated against experimental data for five DNA hairpin molecules with different length of the end-loop. Applications of the method enable one, among others, to improve the parameter determination in functional forms suggested for the tail behaviour of work distributions. Such work distributions enter detailed and integral fluctuation theorems, which are useful for estimating free energy differences between folded and unfolded states from nonequilibrium measurements.
