Prvky vzácných zemin v elektroodpadech / Rare earth elements in electronic waste

Pospíšilová, Eliška January 2014 (has links)
Rare earth elements consist of 15 lanthanides, Y and Sc. They are currently very important materials in many industrial branches (metalurgy, pollishing). One of these options is the usage as the compound of phosphors in electronic devices (television and computer displays. Because of their manufacturing cost, options of recovery from waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) are investigated. This thesis deals with compoud elements of phosphors from displays of type CRT (cathode ray tube) and plasma TV. The 37 samples of phosphors from different displays were taken and processed for study of the compoud elements. Phosphors were separated to 4 subgroups in accordance with the corresponding type of displays: black-and-white CRT television displays (CRT_CB), color CRT television displays (TV_B), color PC displays (PC_B) and monochromatic PC displays (PC_M). The study was carry out by multiple features analysis that combined the inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS), the inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES), the resistance furnace with infrared detector (RF-IF) and the atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS). Based on the results of this analysis, main elements and potentionally hazardous elements of phosphors subgroup were defined. Concentration of rare...

Hyperjemné interakce v hexagonálních feritech / Hyperfine interactions in hexagonal ferrites

Cvešperová, Kateřina January 2011 (has links)
Nuclear magnetic resonance is a method, which provides information about the magnitude of hyperfine field present on izotope's nuclei with non-zero spin. The hyperfine field is sensitive to the local ordering of atoms surrounding the nuclei. The hyperfine field changes can be observed in response to changes in surroundings caused by substitution. The NMR spektra of 57Fe nuclei in the hexagonal ferrites with magnetoplumbit structure which contain cation substitution of trivalent cations Nd, Pr in crystallographic position of divalent cations Sr are measured and interpreted in this work. All experiment are measured at 4.2 K and we investigate the influence of the cation substituion on hyperfine field in thr measured oxides.

Studium základního stavu nových intermetalických sloučenin (RE, U) nTIn3n+2 / The ground-state properties of new (RE, U) nTIn3n+2 intermetallic compounds

Kratochvílová, Marie January 2015 (has links)
The ground-state properties of f-electron compounds are characterized by strong interactions which lead to a plethora of exotic states. In this thesis we focused on compounds crystallizing in the tetragonal HonCoGa3n+2-type structure. Several new compounds have been synthesized from In-flux; particularly enigmatic are Ce3TIn11 (T = Pd, Pt). These compounds possess two inequivalent Ce-sites and reveal coexistence of antiferromagnetic order and heavy fermion superconductivity at ambient pressure. This coexistence can be explained in the framework of two-Kondo ion lattice model, assuming one Ce-site being completely Kondo screened with the 4f-electron behaving itinerant and participating in superconductivity while the second Ce-site retains its local character giving rise to magnetic order via the RKKY interaction. The influence of crystal electric field on the magnetic ground state has been investigated on the Kondo compound Ce2RhIn8 by means of neutron experiments. U2RhIn8 and URhIn5 behave like transition-metal antiferromagnets, contrary to Ce(4f)-counterparts. The 5f-states are entirely hybridized and Kondo interactions play no role. Neither does it in the investigated RE2CoIn8 (RE = Pr, Nd, Dy) compounds which exhibit strong localized 4f-electron behavior. Here, the influence of strong...

Studium základního stavu Ce a U intermetalických sloučenin / Ground state investigations of Ce and U intermetallic compounds

Bartha, Attila January 2019 (has links)
Title: Ground state investigations of Ce and U intermetallic compounds Author: Attila Bartha Department: Department of Condensed Matter Physics Supervisor: RNDr. Jan Prokleška, Ph.D., Department of Condensed Matter Physics Abstract: Rare earth and actinide intermetallic compounds offer a plethora of interesting physical properties due to the varied behavior of f -electrons together with numerous interactions these electrons are exposed to. In this thesis we address a broad spectrum of ground state investigations on CePd2X3 (X=Zn, Ga) and (Ce,U)nTIn3n+2 (T=Rh, Ir) compounds. Single crystals of CePd2Zn3 and CePd2Ga3 compounds were synthesized for the first time using Bridgman method. CePd2Ga3 revealed a ferromagnetic transition with TC = 6.7 K with a strong magnetocrystalline anisotropy. CePd2Zn3 orders antiferromagnetically below TN = 1.9 K. Results of magnetization measurements on Ce2IrIn8 revealed effective magnetic moment µeff = 2.45µB/Ce3+ and a paramagnetic Curie temperature θP = −31 K. Decomposition of Hall resistivity ρxy(B) into NHE and AHE revealed a predom- inance of AHE in the temperature range from 60 K up to 100 K. Ce2RhIn8 was studied by means of magnetic field and angle dependent magnetization and heat capacity measurements. The resulting phase diagram reveals a complete unfold- ing and...

Magnetické a magnetoelastické vlastnosti f-d intermetalik s vysokým obsahem 3d kovů / Magnetic and magnetoelastic properties of f-d intermetallics with high content of 3d-metal

Gorbunov, Denis January 2014 (has links)
Fundamental magnetic properties have been studied in RFexAl12-x (R - heavy rare-earth element) compounds with the tetragonal crystal structure of the ThMn12 type. In the homogeneity range 4 ≤ x ≤ 6, exchange interactions and magnetocrystalline anisotropy of the Fe sublattice are significantly modified as found in LuFexAl12-x with non-magnetic Lu. With increasing Fe content, antiferromagnetic exchange interactions weaken and ferromagnetic strengthen. The change of the type of magnetic ordering occurs in the vicinity of x = 5. The Fe sublattice displays an easy-plane magnetic anisotropy that weakens with growing Fe concentration. RFe5Al7 compounds with magnetic R are highly anisotropic ferrimagnets with Curie temperatures from 193 to 262 K. Spontaneous and field-induced magnetic phase transitions of anisotropic and exchange nature have been found in RFe5Al7 by measurements of magnetization and sound propagation. The transitions provide quantitative information on the R-Fe inter-sublattice exchange. A correlation between the R element and the fundamental magnetic properties has been found for RFe5Al7. The Fe magnetic moment is near 8 µB per formula unit. The compounds with R - Tb, Dy, Ho and Er have a compensation of the rare- earth and iron sublattice magnetizations. The compensation point and Curie...

共黨國家二元領導體制之研究----蘇聯與中共個案分析 / Dual Leadership Regime in Communist States - A Comparison of Former Soviet Union and the PRC

包淳亮, Pao, Chwenliang Unknown Date (has links)
