according to interpersonal relationships and social ties. This place can be represented by
environments characterized by a system of objects which emerges as an efficient
element of communication. These living environments and, consequently the
communicative relationships with men, have been suffering changes along history,
mainly after the development of new technologies at the end of the 20th century and the
beginning of the 21st Century. Environmental design may interfere in the
communicative relationships and influence individuals and social groups, determining
their cultural identities. This study aims to perceive and analyze to what extent an
environmental design might be able to interfere in communicative relationships,
pursuing the ability to generate information from the perception and analysis of the
transition from the culture of the object to the culture of the system of objects. The
study of the languages which set (different) environments becomes relevant to a better
understanding of relationships, influencing the valuation of human beings, which may
contribute to the optimization of life. The theoretical semiotic support in connection
with the System of Objects of Jean Baudrillard allows the research to reach the
recognition of environmental languages and to explain the signs that compose them.
The categories of spatiality, visuality, communicability and perceptibility, in relation to
these environmental systems, enable to capture the manner of representing
environments, and consequently to make a judgment on this experience / As interações do homem em suas áreas sociais, ocorrem num espaço que se
transforma conforme relações interpessoais e criação de laços de sociabilidade. Este
lugar pode ser representado por ambientes caracterizados por um sistema de objetos que
se estrutura como eficiente elemento de comunicação. Estes ambientes de convivência
e, consequentemente as relações comunicativas com o homem, vem sofrendo alterações
no decorrer da história, principalmente após o desenvolvimento das tecnologias do final
do século XX e início do XXI. O design ambiental pode ser capaz de intervir nas
relações comunicativas e influenciar indivíduos, grupos sociais e identidades culturais.
Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo perceber e analisar em que medida o design pode ser
capaz de intervir nas relações comunicativas, perseguindo-se a capacidade de gerar
informações a partir da percepção e análise da transição da cultura do objeto para a
cultura do sistema dos objetos. O estudo das linguagens que constituem os ambientes
torna-se relevante para melhor compreensão das relações, refletindo na valorização dos
seres humanos podendo contribuir para uma otimização de vida. O apoio teórico
semiótico em conexão com a teoria do Sistema dos Objetos de Jean Baudrillard permite
à pesquisa, alcançar o reconhecimento das linguagens ambientais e explicitar os signos
que as compõem. As categorias de espacialidade, visualidade, comunicabilidade e
perceptibilidade, em relação a estes sistemas ambientais, possibilitam a captura do
modo de representação dos ambientes, e consequentemente gerar um juízo sobre esta
experiência
