O uso de ferramentas da comunicação interna : estudo de caso no Banpará / The use of internal communication tools: a case study in Banpara

Wilma Leila Matos Soares 05 May 2010 (has links)
The study aimed to identify the use of internal communication tools in Banpara, regional banking institution, operating in the State of Para, more precisely in the context of support to local development. Contemporaneously, the communication is considered a strategic factor for an organization, since through it, good information flows are necessary for the alignment of goals and strategies of a company. This process affects mainly employees often treated as homogeneous, although they belong to different segments, where noise may occur in the processes of internal communication. Methodologically, was used to survey the literature, theories of communication available and the technical resources involved in communication. The application of case study indicated that employees access the tools of internal communication and through those get enough information to develop their activities at work, and the predominance of the use of intranet and a communication flow predominantly downward vertical. We conclude that the greater the degree of robustness of the information given and the possibility of employees participation, the better their understanding in relation to the goals of the institution. It is strategic, that companies pay attention to the dynamics of intense use of communication through technology, not fully replace the practice of interpersonal relationships, such as classroom practices, with the holding of meetings, face to face communication. Given the importance of employees as social actors who depend on them the understanding of organizational strategies to achieve results with clients. Institutions make use of internal communication tools available in all styles, lined the conjecture and organizational culture, and its level of technological evolution, - that is, mixed between traditional tools, and conventional technology.

(Could you please) send me the report, now(?)! : The impact of managerial communication styles on employee engagement on ISM

Bengtsson, Nadine, Jost Auf Der Stroth, Alexander, Victor, Philip January 2020 (has links)
Background Employee turnover is increasing and in order for companies to retain their workforce, internal marketing (IM) needs to be applied. With internal communication (IC) being seen as the key to implementing employee oriented strategies and activities to motivate employees and coordinate cross-functional efforts within IM, internal social media (ISM), as known for fostering communication among employees, needs to be investigated regarding its influence on employee engagement. Purpose The purpose of this study was to investigate the psychological conditions of employee engagement on ISM and their relationship to employee engagement on ISM, moderated by the managerial communication styles assertive, aggressive and passive. Method An explanatory sequential mixed methods design has been applied, combining the advantages of both quantitative and qualitative data collection. Starting with 86 self-completion questionnaires, the findings, obtained by the application of a factor analysis in conjunction with multiple regression analysis, have been deepened with 5 semi-structured interviews with the help of a thematic analysis. Results and Conclusions The psychological conditions of employee engagement on ISM are indeed positively related to employee engagement on ISM. Furthermore, the assertive managerial communication style has shown to have a moderating effect on the relationship between the psychological conditions of employee engagement on ISM and employee engagement on ISM. Even though the moderating effect has been negative, the assertive communication style has been found to have a positive effect on employee engagement on ISM itself.

Burianová, Jitka January 2019 (has links)
My diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of internal communication in Česká spořitelna. The first part of my work is focused on theory, emphasizing the importance of good functioning internal communication and the consequences of its deficiencies. I also apply this knowledge in the practical part, which is supplemented by the characteristics of Česká spořitelna and the important milestones of the origin of internal communication in the company. In the analytical part, I investigate the employees' satisfaction with the current situation. The paper presents proposals on how to simplify message sharing and avoid the overloading of information that is not relevant to all employees.

Svensson, Niklas, Gasnier, Olivia January 2021 (has links)
Purpose The goal of this research is to define top-down and bottom-up approaches as well as the communication processes and the information flow to see how it is used and matched with day-to-day activities in several retail stores. To meet this goal, the following research questions have been formulated: ● How do organizations use information strategies such as top-down and bottom-up management? ● What are the means to be used in information strategies so that the envisaged objectives can be achieved?  Method To meet that objective, a study has been performed on seven store managers from seven different retail shops through interviews from which the empirical data has been gathered. The latter has been combined with a theoretical framework to achieve the purpose. Findings Based on the empirical results taken from the seven store managers, the authors were able to see and understand how each of them was using information strategies and what were the challenges and improvements related to it. Limitations The authors chose to limit their research to the retail industry in Sweden, therefore the outcome of this study cannot be applied to other industries or countries. Moreover, the interviews have been only given to store managers, which implies that the employees’ perspective on the subject is not analyzed here.

Chavez Luna, Luis Abdón, Horna Cerna, Kevin Axel 03 December 2019 (has links)
This paper seeks to analyze if there is a relationship between a strong employee engagement and how many corporate rituals does an employee participates in. In this study, we chose to research Banco de Crédito del Perú’s (BCP) case. BCP is the largest Company in Perú and the most important bank in the country, we think this Company is a well recognized referent in the industry, and makes a very relevant subject for our research. This research contains an introduction, our framework, the analysis, research design, and conclusions and recommendations. In our research design, we contemplate surveys to a select sample of millennial employees. As a conclusion, we found that in spite of having a positive correlation, it’s not strong enough to prove a relationship between a strong employee engagement and the number of rituals an employee participates in. We theorize this result could lead to study other variables that can influence employee engagement. / Tesis

Sofie, Olsson, Moe, Cornelia January 2021 (has links)
This is a case study that has been conducted on an organization with about 30 employees. The study is based on qualitative research in the form of nine interviews with various employees within the organization as well as a document analysis of the organization's personnel handbook and business rules. The purpose of the study is to investigate how participation, motivation and internal communication can be understood as an important part of organizational culture and identify what connections there are between the three concepts linked to the prevailing organizational culture. It is the employees' own stories about their opinions and feelings that are set against the chosen theory regarding participation, motivation and internal communication in the results analysis. The results show that the employees have a positive attitude towards the organization. The employees feel to some extent involved and motivated, but that there is a lack of knowledge regarding the internal communication.
