Analýza a návrh webové aplikace pro cestující do zahraničí / Analýza a návrh webové stránky pro cestující do zahraničí

Strnad, Stanislav January 2013 (has links)
The target of this thesis is to design a website which enables its visitors a slightly different approach when searching information about the selected countries, compared to websites of similar orientation. The main asset of the website would be to allow the selection of thematic information (transport, culture, food, trade, etc.), giving the user a clue in the search for the countries where he would like to travel to. (or just find some interesting information about them) It should be also possible to filter and sort the available information accordingly by prearranged criteria, which should allow the visitor to get slightly different perspective over the issue. One of the main features is the contribution of users themselves to co-create the website, for which the registration system will be adapted to. The system will distinguish several levels of users with different permissions to access various sections of the website and to manage its content. It should be possible to edit the data through the web interface, which should provide sufficient variability for a complete content management. The website solution should be created for the users as intuitively as possible without any unnecessary barriers that would prevent users from comfortable and effective use of the website.

Optické bezkabelové spoje s velkým dosahem / Long Range Free Space Optical Links

Křivák, Petr January 2009 (has links)
This dissertation thesis deals with a long range free space optical links for communication over the distance of few tens of kilometers in the atmosphere. The problematic of the beam propagation and atmospheric effects influencing the beam and the quality of the communication protocol are discussed. The measuring link is also designed to study the parameters of the communication link work conditions. The measuring link consists of two heads. The transmitter head is designed to use two optical beams with laser diodes at the wavelength of the atmospheric windows 850 or 1550 nm and the overall power of hundredths of mW. The receiver head includes the Fressnel lens. For the detection of very weak signal, the avalanche photodiode is used. In the end of this work, due to the high power of the transmitting optical beam, the laser safety conditions are also discussed, including the deduced optical transmitters construction recommendations.

Bienestar psicológico y satisfacción marital en adultos de la ciudad de Lima Metropolitana / Psychological well-being and marital satisfaction in adults in the city of Metropolitan Lima

Escobar Mendez, Jacqueline Lucia, Montoya Vera, Janeth Sthephany 24 October 2019 (has links)
The objective of the present investigation was to study the relationship between psychological well-being and marital satisfaction in adults in the city of Metropolitan Lima. In the same way, in Peru, little scientific evidence has been found on the relationship between both variables. A correlational descriptive design was used, and a total of 193 people who were married or living together were evaluated, 50.3% were women and 49.7% were men. The ages of the students were 20 to 50 years. We used the scale of Psychological Wellbeing for Adults (BIEPS-A) (Dominguez, 2014) and Marital Satisfaction (ESM) of Pick and Andrade (Vera, 2010). It was found that both instruments have validity and reliability. We conclude that the variables correlated significantly and positively, identified as Social Links and Self-realization presented a moderate correlation with Marital Satisfaction; nevertheless, the correlation of Autonomy with Marital Satisfaction was low. It is interpreted  that a greater perception of satisfaction has a positive association with social bonds, and self-realization. / Tesis

Longitudinal study of links, linkshorteners, and Bitly usage on Twitter / Longitudinella mätningar av länkar, länkförkortare och Bitly använding på Twitter

Moström, Mathilda, Edberg, Alexander January 2020 (has links)
Social networks attract millions of users who want to share information and connect with people. One of those platforms are Twitter, which has the power to greatly shape people's opinions and thoughts. It is therefore important to understand how information is shared among users. In this thesis, we characterize the link sharing usage on Twitter, placing particular focus on third-party link shortener services that hide the actual URL from the users until the users click on a generic, shortened URL, focusing mainly on the link management platform Bitly. The purpose of this thesis is to analyze link usage among users over a specific time period, the domains that different users and link shortens direct their users to and compare the click rates of such links with the corresponding retweet rates to see how this vary over time. We use a measurement framework that is developed by two other students from Linköping University to collect datasets over different time periods. First, we will compare a one-week-long dataset from the spring of 2019 to one that is gathered one year later in the spring of 2020. Two additional one-week-long datasets has also been collected during the spring of 2020. We use the two main datasets, separated by a year, to evaluate long-term differences, and the three datasets from the spring of 2020 to analyze shorter-term variations in the link usage. The study highlights with this approach is to be able to highlight significant patterns over time, including with regard to what domains that are tweeted. We have found that the usage of URL link shorterns has not decreased over the last year, though the usage of specifically Bitly has done so. The top domains with highest occurrences from 2019 did not get to keep their high rankings in 2020, this is especially true for facebook.com whose occurrence has dropped by 2.7 percentage points in 2020. Our conclusion is that the difference between the years is not huge but that there are some interesting trends and patterns. Given the prevailing pandemic Covid-19, we have also chosen to do a minor analysis  of how many users of Twitter link to domains related to this. It turned out that the link sharing of Covid-19 related substances decreased quite sharply during our analysis period.

Groupes et Communautés dans les flots de liens : des données aux algorithmes / Groups and communities in link streams : from data to algorithms

Gaumont, Noé 11 October 2016 (has links)
Interactions are everywhere: in the contexts of face-to-face contacts, emails, phone calls, IP traffic, etc. In all of them, an interaction is characterized by two entities and a time interval: for instance, two individuals meet from 1pm to 3pm. We model them as link stream which is a set of quadruplets (b,e,u,v) where each quadruplet means that a link exists between u and v from time b to time e. In graphs, a community is a subset which is more densely connected than a reference. Within the link stream formalism, the notion of density and reference have to be redefined. Therefore, we study how to extend the notion of density for link streams. To this end, we use a real data set where a community structure is known. Then, we develop a method that finds automatically substream which are considered relevant. These substream, defined as subsets of links, are discovered by a classical community detection algorithm applied on the link stream the transformed into a static graph. A substream is considered relevant, if it is denser than the substreams which are close temporally and structurally. Thus, we deepen the notion of neighbourhood and reference in link streams. We apply our method on several real world interaction networks and we find relevant substream which would not have been found by existing methods. Finally, we discuss the generation of link streams having a given community structure and also a proper way to evaluate such community structure.

Mezioborové vztahy mezi Občanským a společenskovědním základem a Francouzským jazykem / Cross-curricular Links between Basics of Civics and Social Sciences and French Language

Marešová, Dominika January 2022 (has links)
This Master thesis focuses on connecting school subjects to overcome the isolation of information that students obtain through them. First of all, the thesis describes the different forms of school subject integration and lists the positive outcomes to which this integration leads, as well as the reasons why any form of interdisciplinarity concerning school subjects could be demanding. While any sort of integration could be challenging because of the timetables or the teachers' workload, it is beneficial. The students can realize the connections between information that they acquire, and this leads to better retention of the knowledge. Plus, they feel more motivated because they can use facts from one subject in another one. Then, the main goal of this thesis is presented - to search for cross-curricular links between French language as a foreign language and Basics of Civics or Social Sciences. In order to do so, the thesis details their subject didactics and the goals of these school subjects. Based on their description and the analysis of their respective textbooks, their common themes emerge, and they can be used for further integration. These themes work as suggestions for teachers who wish to leave the isolation of their specialty. The thesis also proposes activities that work with common...

Vodojemy - Brno, Žlutý kopec / Reservoirs - Brno, Zluty kopec (Yellow hill)

Lamačková, Zuzana Unknown Date (has links)
The subject of the diploma thesis is a design of a spatial and functional concept of the site of non-functional historical reservoirs in Brno on Yellow hill. The aim of the work is to create an idea of the use of the site and its underground reservoirs and to find a strategy for involving the site in the functioning of the city. The source of water was an elementary condition in the expansion and growth of city, and now few people realize how large network of underground structurs ensures its circulation and how important was their role in the past. The main idea of the work is to focus not only on one accessible reservoir in the area on Yellow Hill, but on a wider water world of Brno.

High-speed Modelocked Semiconductor Lasers And Applications In Coherent Photonic Systems

Lee, Wangkuen 01 January 2007 (has links)
1.55-µm high-speed modelocked semiconductor lasers are theoretically and experimentally studied for various coherent photonic system applications. The modelocked semiconductor lasers (MSLs) are designed with high-speed (>5 GHz) external cavity configurations utilizing monolithic two-section curved semiconductor optical amplifiers. By exploiting the saturable absorber section of the monolithic device, passive or hybrid mode-locking techniques are used to generate short optical pulses with broadband optical frequency combs. Laser frequency stability is improved by applying the Pound-Drever-Hall (PDH) frequency stabilization technique to the MSLs. The improved laser performance after the frequency stabilization (a frequency drifting of less than 350 MHz), is extensively studied with respect to the laser linewidth (~ 3 MHz), the relative intensity noise (RIN) (< -150 dB/Hz), as well as the modal RIN (~ 3 dB reduction). MSL to MSL, and tunable laser to MSL synchronization is demonstrated by using a dual-mode injection technique and a modulation sideband injection technique, respectively. Dynamic locking behavior and locking bandwidth are experimentally and theoretically studied. Stable laser synchronization between two MSLs is demonstrated with an injection seed power on the order of a few microwatt. Several coherent heterodyne detections based on the synchronized MSL systems are demonstrated for applications in microwave photonic links and ultra-dense wavelength division multiplexing (UD-WDM) system. In addition, efficient coherent homodyne balanced receivers based on synchronized MSLs are developed and demonstrated for a spectrally phase-encoded optical CDMA (SPE-OCDMA) system.
