Given that this sector has a strong growth potential in Brazil, the main objective of this dissertation is to reveal the craft beer consumers preferences using stated preference methods through questionnaires that invite the subject to choose among options related to Color, Palate, Aroma and Alcohol. After stratifying the sample by Age and Experience, the results show that Palate, followed by Color and then Aroma are the most relevant attributes for the Experienced subject while the Non-Experienced value Color as the most relevant attribute, followed by Palate, with Aroma being an irrelevant attribute in his choices. The atribute Alcohol revealed itself insignificant in all stratifications.

Využívání Brownfields - rozvojový potenciál venkovských oblastí / Use of brownfields as a part of potential in rural areas

BÖHM, Petr January 2012 (has links)
This thesis deals with the definitions of rural development, rural areas, brownfields, greenfields. In the practical part compares two real locations in South County. Greenfield site is located in the village in the district Vidov Czech Budejovice and borwnfield site is located in the village in the district Želeč Tabor. Both locations are assessed according to the model of South Bohemia, which is based on studies němcekého Ministry of Environment. This model consists zetří criteria - potential sites in terms of community benefit in terms of potential investor and the change in the value space - public interest in the regeneration of brownfield sites. These three criteria are still my sub, under which then determines the significance of the site. Then, by calculating the preference index (PI) to determine which location is more suitable for implementation.

PrevisÃo de Demanda por GÃs Natural Veicular: Uma Modelagem Baseada em Dados de PreferÃncia Declarada e Revelada / DEMAND FORECAST FOR NATURAL GAS VEHICLES: A MODELLING BASED ON STATED AND REVEALED PREFERENCE.

Josà Expedito BrandÃo Filho 04 February 2005 (has links)

Rozšíření a biotopové preference strnada zahradního v České republice / Distribution and habitat preference of the Ortolan Bunting in the Czech Republic

Zeman, Vít January 2017 (has links)
The Ortolan Bunting (Emberiza hortulana) is a farmland bird species, whose population size has declined very sharply in recent decades, especia ll y in Western and Central European countries. The aim of our study in 2015 was to record where the last populations of this critically endangered species in the Czech Republic are located and also what habitat the species associated with. We examined nine areas (925 km2 in total). Two main areas of occurrence (surface mines in northern Bohemia and farmland landscape of Silesia) and two small isolated populations in central Bohemia were registered for this species. In contrast, observations in some traditional areas of its occurence (České středohoří in northern Bohemia, Hovorany-Čejkovice region in southe r n Moravia and Javoricko region in Silesia) were negative. Altogether, we counted 75-79 singing males. Our estimation of the size of the Czech population in 2015 is 75-100 singing males, which indicates further population decline compared to the last mapping in 2001-2003. Furthermore, habitat associat io ns were investigated at two spatial scales and we made habitat compar is o n between farmland and post-mining landscape. Our research highlights a high degree of flexibility in habitat selection of Ortolan Bunting and also positive association with high...

Issues in Urban Travel Demand Modelling : ICT Implications and Trip timing choice

Börjesson, Maria January 2006 (has links)
Travel demand forecasting is essential for many decisions, such as infrastructure investments and policy measures. Traditionally travel demand modelling has considered trip frequency, mode, destination and route choice. This thesis considers two other choice dimensions, hypothesised to have implications for travel demand forecasting. The first part investigates how the increased possibilities to overcome space that ICT (information and communication technology) provides, can be integrated in travel demand forecasting models. We find that possibilities of modelling substitution effects are limited, irrespective of data source and modelling approach. Telecommuting explains, however, a very small part of variation in work trip frequency. It is therefore not urgent to include effects from telecommuting in travel demand forecasting. The results indicate that telecommuting is a privilege for certain groups of employees, and we therefore expect that negative attitudes from management, job suitability and lack of equipment are important obstacles. We find also that company benefits can be obtained from telecommuting. No evidences that telecommuting gives rise to urban sprawl is, however, found. Hence, there is ground for promoting telecommuting from a societal, individual and company perspective. The second part develops a departure time choice model in a mixed logit framework. This model explains how travellers trade-off travel time, travel time variability, monetary and scheduling costs, when choosing departure time. We explicitly account for correlation in unobserved heterogeneity over repeated SP choices, which was fundamental for accurate estimation of the substitution pattern. Temporal constraints at destination are found to mainly restrict late arrival. Constraints at origin mainly restrict early departure. Sensitivity to travel time uncertainty depends on trip type and intended arrival time. Given appropriate input data and a calibrated dynamic assignment model, the model can be applied to forecast peak-spreading effects in congested networks. Combined stated preference (SP) and revealed preference (RP) data is used, which has provided an opportunity to compare observed and stated behaviour. Such analysis has previously not been carried out and indicates that there are systematic differences in RP and SP data. / QC 20100825

Hodnocení podílových fondů z hlediska vícekriteriálního rozhodování / Unit Trust Evaluation in Light of Multiple-Criteria Decision Making

Kaňoková, Jana January 2007 (has links)
The target of this work is to evaluate the unit trusts in light of the multiple-criteria decision making. The unit trusts are divided into the groups according to the investor categories: unit trusts with conservative, balanced and aggressive portfolio. The unit trusts were lined up by the medium of the multiple-criteria decision making methods (PRIAM, ORESTE, MAPPAC) and it is also made an analysis why have each of the methods chosen the particular unit trust in the group as the best compromise variant.

Srovnání komunikačních strategií společnosti Coca-Cola a jejich vybraných konkurentů v České republice a v zahraničí / The comparison of communication strategy of the Coca-Cola company and its representative competitors in the Czech Republic and abroad

Kvasnicová, Pavla January 2014 (has links)
In my thesis I am looking into the comparison of communication strategy of the Coca-Cola company and its representative competitors in the Czech Republic and abroad. Each company has its own communication strategy and its communication mix, with help of which it is pursuing the successfulness of the communication strategy. The objective of my research is to find out to what extent it is successful and how strongly the communication mix affects the consumers. Based on the results of the research, I constitute my own recommendations for respective companies regarding the means of adjusting their communication mix in order to reach desired results.

Algorithmes efficaces pour l’apprentissage de réseaux de préférences conditionnelles à partir de données bruitées / Efficient algorithms for learning conditional preference networks from noisy data

Labernia, Fabien 27 September 2018 (has links)
The rapid growth of personal web data has motivated the emergence of learning algorithms well suited to capture users’ preferences. Among preference representation formalisms, conditional preference networks (CP-nets) have proven to be effective due to their compact and explainable structure. However, their learning is difficult due to their combinatorial nature. In this thesis, we tackle the problem of learning CP-nets from corrupted large datasets. Three new algorithms are introduced and studied on both synthetic and real datasets. The first algorithm is based on query learning and considers the contradictions between multiple users’ preferences by searching in a principled way the variables that affect the preferences. The second algorithm relies on information-theoretic measures defined over the induced preference rules, which allow us to deal with corrupted data. An online version of this algorithm is also provided, by exploiting the McDiarmid's bound to define an asymptotically optimal decision criterion for selecting the best conditioned variable and hence allowing to deal with possibly infinite data streams.

Application of Certain Seashore Measures of Musical Talent and the Kuder Preference Record to the Building of a Music Program in Borger High School

Harrison, Loma Groom 08 1900 (has links)
In this research, an attempt is made to evaluate the music program of a typical high school in terms of its contribution to the development of pupils who show evidence of possessing musical talent. One of the aims of modern education is to help pupils develop emotional stability, desirable attitudes, and worthy ideals. In other words, the purpose is to teach pupils to feel, as well as to know and do. Music can be powerful force in fulfilling this aim. The purpose of this report is to apply the results of the Pitch and Tonal Memory tests of the Seashore Measures of Musical Talent and the results of the Kuder Preference Record to the building of a Program Music in Borger High School.
