La généralisation de la prophétie dans le Nouveau Testament : sources, modalités de déploiement, limites et enjeux / The generalization of prophecy in the New Testament : sources, modes of deployment, limits and significanceMinard, Timothée 29 June 2018 (has links)
Several New Testament texts reflects a certain form of generalization of prophecy within early Christianity. This belief contrasts with the relative absence of a similar expectation within intertestamental Judaism, brought to light through an investigation of ancient Jewish literature. An examination of Christian sources reveals the practice of congregational prophecy within early Christianity. In light of these background elements, it is shown how three New Testament texts view, each in its own way, the deployment of the generalization of prophecy. For the author of Acts, believers in Jesus-Christ constitute a prophetic nation who is experiencing the eschatological outpouring of the Spirit of prophecy announced in Joel 3. In 1 Corinthians 12-14, Paul offers a set of regulations regarding the implementation of the generalization of prophecy in the Christian community. The book of Revelation invites to consider the people of the Lamb as bearers of a prophetic testimony in this world. The analysis of these texts pays attention to sociological issues related to the generalization of prophecy.

Le discours coranique : énonciation et énonciateurs / Quranic discourse : enunciation and enunciatorsMazguidi, Mostapha 26 June 2018 (has links)
The Qur'an, an omnipresent discourse via different media, has been a constant source of attention since the beginning of writing in the Arab sphere; writing as a composition of works because culture was, before the Koran, oral. From then until today, he remains an inexhaustible object of study and speculation. The language sciences are not sufficiently exploited to explore its mysteries as a unique religious discourse. Linguistic studies were limited to the linguistic domains of Arabic such as syntax and rhetoric which attempted to resurrect what makes the Koran an inimitable discourse as it presents itself and as presented by Islamic Tradition. This work aims at an analysis that draws modern theories of language sciences for an understanding of Koranic discourse.

Theatrical living : responsive lives which manifest God's loving presence and waysReinhardt, David Lee January 2018 (has links)
God is revealed through Scripture and the Incarnation as desiring to establish loving relationships with others beyond the Trinity. In the beginning he did so by creating human beings, and making himself, his desires, and his ways known to them. He chose to do so through particular actions and encounters in history which involved various forms of embodied manifestation, and led up to the supreme manifestation: the enfleshing of Jesus. Following on from the acts of Jesus which perfectly manifested God and his ways to the world in the flesh, human creatures created in the image of God and united to Christ are also called and gifted by God to manifest God's presence, activity, and ways in this world by using their bodies to live faithfully and responsively to the leading of the Spirit. In order to investigate and demonstrate these claims, Part I of the thesis examines a selection of precedent-setting events chronicled in the Old Testament in which God manifested his presence and ways to people in a variety of circumstances. Part II is concerned with a theological examination of God's manifestations and the roles people can and should play in these manifestations. It begins by engaging with reflections on the subject from the early church fathers Irenaeus, Athanasius, and Augustine; and, in keeping with the Reformed approach taken in the thesis generally, this is followed by in-depth treatments of Reformer John Calvin and Reformed theologian Karl Barth on the revelation, manifestation, and proclamation of God by people in this world. Having substantiated the claim that how people live is significant and of concern to God as it can impinge upon his ongoing desire to make himself and his ways known, Part III is designed to provide a fuller understanding of some of the meaning and significance conveyed by bodily expressions in human interactions with an eye towards seeking ways to live more faithfully to God. It identifies the theatre, particularly improvisational theatre, as a laboratory for understanding human living, and so explores the insights of theatre practitioners into everyday living; while also considering the work of philosophers of language and sociologists who do the same. Through this spotlight on the theatricality of life the case is made for attempting to live responsively, in keeping with improvisational actors, in ways that are faithful to God and which can serve to aid those united to Christ as they seek to make God known to others.

Previous issue date: 2013-06-04 / This thesis aims to show that there is a need to overcome old hermeneutic patterns, and renew the Bible reading for the construction of theological dialogue with the modern world, which is relevant given the questions in the day-to-day life for people and communities. The biggest challenges for this are those that involve scientific research, especially in the natural sciences, involving the origin of human life and the universe. We realize that to realize these challenges include the need to respect the theological concern for dialogue beyond the strictly confessional. We conclude that this recovery is necessary, because the world of theological reflection is not unique in terms of culture and science, and is affected like everyone else by the changes. Their own scientific discoveries in the fields of evolutionary biology, genetics affecting seriously the theological construction, not only point to this, as can also be enlightening, facilitators of a new knowledge of God's action in creating and building a theology to legitimize the context in question. The purpose of the thesis is that the reading of revelation using the category of "historical maieutic" the theologian Andres Torres Queiruga, can offer procedures for theological reflection that promotes dialogue between theology and the natural sciences, from their own science content with the opportunity to benefit the construction of knowledge in both fields / Esta tese procura mostrar que há uma necessidade de se superar velhos esquemas

Previous issue date: 2006-06-20 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / The present dissertation seeks to grasp the relation between suffering and meaning in the Human condition in Dostoiévski s The Brothers Karamázov , with a particular emphasis on its significance to modern man as well as the purpose of finding a place for a possible contribution from the clinical practice of phenomenology. For that purpose I make use of the method of existential phenomenology in an effort to grasp the intentionality issues involved.
In the first chapter I strive to understand Dostoiévski s work in the light of its Russian Orthodox sources, dealing with the authors who studied and commented it and concentrating in further detail on the reading of such categories as suffering, Christianity and Human condition as they appear in this masterpiece of Russian Literature.
The Second Chapter is a descriptive compilation of the life of Ivan Karamázov (the main carachter of the book) followed by a phenomenological analysis of his personality and actions, whereby one is led to see how the failure of the notion of Man s sufficiency, which the carachter embodies, and his increasing alienation from the supernatural source of his being, is likely to tear him apart as he seeks to avoid the Human consequences of his passions.
Finally, in Chapter 3, I endeavour, in the light of my prime subjects, i.e., suffering and meaning, to establish how Dostoiévski s thought, the main carachter of his book and modern man may be referred to each another, what leads me to the conclusion that the meaning of suffering resides not in suffering itself, but in Man s attitude towards it, be it one of confrontation or denial, acceptance or revolt. Although it in fact exists, is necessary and cannot be denied (denial of suffering is dangerous as it may lead to greater, infernal suffering), suffering is no drive to transformation apart from the diverse meanings which may be attributed to it. Nevertheless, for its acceptance and transformation to be operative, the supernatural aspect in the Human condition must be incorporated.

[fr] EXPÉRIENCE SALVIFIQUE CHRÉTIENNE ET PLURALISME RELIGIEUX DANS E. SCHILLEBEECKX / [pt] EXPERIÊNCIA SALVÍFICA CRISTÃ E PLURALISMO RELIGIOSO EM E. SCHILLEBEECKXCLEUSA MARIA ANDREATTA 07 January 2004 (has links)
Nazaré e do cristianismo.
possibilitam articular numa mesma reflexão a unicidade e

In this study it is assumed from a central theoretical argument that the Bible based, scripturally true liturgical song, possesses an exceptional bonding structure. The set literary archetypes of the dramatic, epic and lyric - or the dramatical, epical and lyrical - are woven together to form the canvas for the hymnical praise of the worshipping community. The aim of the study is to dissect the relationship in which the archetypes stand to one another and to establish which trans–generical phenomena and movements can be detected in order to determine what their meaning is for liturgical songwriting. This is done on the basis of an analysis of the Book of Revelation, specifically pertaining to the hymnographical corpus in the book. To do this the most obvious meta–theory of this study is the literary theory, while the basis, principles and guidelines of the hymnographical basistheory are determined by theological biblical science. In the first main chapter (meta–theory) of the study the questions of what literature is and whether the Bible is literature, are explored and answered. The conclusion to this is that the Bible is true literature and that this religious script plays a central, unique and prominent role in the progression of the christian–western cultural world. In the process of determining the different approaches to the study of literature, note was taken of the various theoretical assumptions and theories and of the influence that each has and can have on theological biblical scientifical research. In the second main part (inter–disciplinary theoretical aspects) the investigation proceeds from the study of meta–theoretical literary terrain identification to the determining of the connection, link, sym–biosis and synergy between the literary meta–theory and the theological basistheory of this study. Shared and partly overlapping study terrains of the literary sciences and the bibilical sciences are explored. This leads to the demarcation of both an inter–disciplinary and multisubdisciplinary field of study, for which an approach and a method to further explore had to be developed. In the third main part (basistheory) the perspectives gained in the first two parts are unlocked to the advantage of the biblical scientifical study of Revelation. The last book of the Bible is analysed macro–structurally by means of a narratological reading and accompanied by a cursory–exegetic explanation, after which the meaning of the corpus of hymnical microtexts in their context within the macro–structure are further unlocked by means of detailed exegesis. In this way basis–theoretical hymnographical priniciples in Revelation can be identified. These are integrated in the fourth and last main part and are then concretised, using a song as example, in guidelines for hymnography. In this final main part (the outcome of the study) the investigation reaches its set aims as well as the overall goal in that it could be verified that the canvas of the liturgical song should be integrated successfully not only wordperfect, but also Wordperfect in all its facets through literary quality and biblical–principled motivation. This should allow the flame (= liturgical song) of the sacrifice of thanksgiving (= worship) to burn brightly in a time of diverse positions on church song. / Thesis (Ph.D. (Liturgics))--North-West University, Potchefstroom Campus, 2012.
