The cetifiable management systems are standard or set of requirements, internationally recognized, subject to certification. The main purpose of this research is to systematize guidelines for collective and semi-presence implementation of these systems in companies without the active participation of a consultants or specialists. Characterized of theoretical-conceptual, this research was motivated precisely by the scinetific gap in this area and for their development, were studied four practical experiences of implementating collective and blended, which, together with the theoretical provided information for its systematization. From this research, it is clear that the deployment process strengthens the involvement of people at the end of it, are proposed guidelines for collective and semi-presence implementation of certifiable management systems, related to the elements: selection of companies; awareness, diagnosis, planning, training, implementation, verification and correction, which could be developed both by private sector and government

Building Trust in a Cross-Cultural Context: The National Investor in United Arab Emirates and Egypt

Bouazzi, Cherif, Lawal, Suleiman Nadabo January 2018 (has links)
Aim: The aim of the study is to examine trust development in international marketing of financial services marketing of the National Investor (TNI) in UAE and Egypt. To achieve this, the researchers adapted Fregidou_Malama and Hyder (2015) framework of international services marketing that explains cultural influences on Adaptation/Standardization, network and trust formation in international services marketing. Method:  A single case study approach is used as the research strategy and qualitative research using semi-structured interviews. The research uses qualitative interviews as the primary source of empirical data. Results and Conclusion: This study indicates that cultural values play a major role on the way people communicate, interact and conduct their businesses within the financial services sector in UAE and Egypt, and that cultural values, origins, policies, rules and regulations are factors that can affect how international companies build trust relationships within local cultures. Our results show that cultural dimensions such as power distance, individualism/collectivism, uncertainty avoidance, and masculinity/feminity affect trust building, networking and adaptation strategies in international marketing of financial service of the company. Research Contribution: This study contributes and shows the implication of the need for adaptation to satisfy customers’ needs and expectations in international marketing of financial services. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Egypt have almost identical cultural dimensions, in order to build trust, TNI adapts its services to meet up with the Egyptian customers' needs and expectations. In addition, all of the previous studies that were conducted using Fregidou_Malama and Hyder (2015) framework are in the marketing of healthcare services of Elekta AB, Sweden whereas this study focuses on financial services and also conducted and compared two identical national cultures from two different countries and their influence. Suggestions for Future Research: One of the limitations of this research is that it is a case study and doesn’t reflect the overall international financial sector and therefore the results and observations indicated in this research might differ along with the variation of the studied environment.  Therefore, we recommend further study using the same model within the same financial service sector and the same business environment and compare with any European nation that is culturally distant from the United Arab Emirates and Egypt.

Blessmann, Doris Soares January 2010 (has links)
This thesis presents a discussion about how a public health policy operates for regulating environmental risks to the population. In order to do that, I have looked at some of the inserted formulations of National Environmental Health Policy (PNSA) and also from the Environmental Health Surveillance (VAS). Based in Foucault‟s assumptions, I perform two research movements. In a historical perspective, I analyze global and brazilian policies involved in VAS and PNSA creations. Then I examine policy and monitoring construction of environmental risk factors in the perspective of governamentality, utilizing concepts of BioPower, security, standardization, surveillance and risk. For the documents analysis tools which approach themselves to the speech analysis were used, seeking to identify the statement network that builds and puts into circulation the notion of environmental health. I have explored health, environment and environmental health concepts present on these strategies of Government policy, which does not always relate to day-to-day practices – what is really done and said – among individuals, communities and in health units, since they are based on universal visions. I have taken the PNSA as an all-or-nothing proposition of health promotion field, which extends the idea of attention integrality in contrast to the hegemonic biomedical speech, when articulates health‟s education interventions. The understanding of disease centered on the individual and the medicalization of the population have transformed environment interventions into secondary elements; diseases and injuries to health caused by environmental factors, in medical rationality, became individual and biological cases. Health promotion strategy begins considering limitations on political, economic, social and cultural conditions as determinants factors of health, involving other individuals and other areas of expertise. At the same time, the PNSA presents concepts and propositions that approximate health promotion to sustainable development. The economic dimension of damages to environment and to people‟s health is the parameter used for governmental action. Accordingly, the PNSA aims to prevent, overlook and standardize environmental risks related to health. Considering that territory in SUS is administratively conceived and that effects of social processes are not restricted to their boundaries, this territorial delimitation has became the strategy for greater social control, as well as that tended to pathologise certain places and people. Technical data and parameters create a possible field of action which restricts, organizes and oversees environment in a tendentious way. VAS does not catch and govern all phenomena, but analyzes its regularities by inserting them into a set of likely events, not to eliminate them, but for them to remain stable. The field of environmental health produced by PNSA serves as a Governmental strategy, in which surveillance over the environment captures, increasingly, phenomena that should be regulated, being it environmental, or populationial, to increase social control by the State and its strengthening.

Study of standardization of planning process in a Project Management Office (PMO).

Mora Salcedo, Juan January 2015 (has links)
This thesis is about the standardization of the planning phase in a project management office (PMO). The purpose of the research is to find the way to standardize the planning phase in PMO. This purpose is motivated by the relevance of planning phase in projects. Planning is about to forecast, and the consequences of a bad forecasting can be critical for the developing of the project. The research question of the study is the following one:➢ How can the planning phase be standardized in a Project Management Office? To answer this question five interviews have been performed. The interviewees were senior project managers from different companies in Sweden. In order to keep the confidentiality, the names of the managers and the companies which they belong to are omitted. A literature review has been done to set up a theoretical framework and validate the results from the interviews. The study concludes that the only part in planning which can be easily standardized is the work breakdown structure. The results showed that standardization of planning phase as a whole is a big challenge for PMO and also that specialization helps in great measure the standardization of planning.

No. of bitstreams: 1 Arquivo Total.pdf: 2319057 bytes, checksum: 95f09094d5df62a489fc14021d023153 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2017-02-21 / The family Membracidae comprises about 3.200 described species and is distributed worldwide (with the exception of the Arctic and Antarctic). Although the greatest diversity is found in the Neotropics, few ecological studies have been directed to this group in Brazil. The present study aimed to establish a sampling protocol, as well as to inventory and analyze the similarity of the fauna of treehoppers in areas of the Atlantic Forest of Paraíba. The protocol was standardized in 100 sampling units and four sampling techniques were used: active collection (30 units), yellow adhesive cards placed in the understory (30 units) and in the canopy (30 units) and light trap (10 units). Samples were collected in four representative areas of Atlantic Forest in the state: REBIO Guaribas (3,016ha), RPGN Engenho Gargaú (1,058.6ha), RPPN Fazenda Pacatuba (266,53ha) and RVS Mata do Buraquinho (519,75ha). To evaluate the efficiency of the protocol, the performance was analyzed through rarefaction, and the complementary of the methods was analyzed through the Jaccard index. Species accumulation curves were also made using the Chao 1 and Chao 2 estimators and the sample sufficiency was calculated in each area. The similarity between the areas was evaluated for abundance (ANOVA) and richness (ANOSIM). The richness of the Atlantic Forest was estimated through Chao 1 and Chao2. In total, 2,612 individuals belonging to 85 species were collected. The methods showed high complementarity with values varying from 63% to 78%. The richness sampled in the areas varied between 34 and 58 species, with an average of 85.2% of sample sufficiency. The RPPN Engenho Gargaú and REBIO Guaribas differed (p = 0.034) with regard to species abundance. The results show that the taxocenosis of treehoppers among sampled areas are similar both in composition and patterns is species distribution and abundance.
