It initially analyses the revelation as a human experience that has God as subject. According to Queiruga, the revelation should not be considered something supernatural that is far away from humans, because the revelation process is part of the human constitution. God, with great loving generosity, reveals himself to everyone, and it has always been this way. In the light of Queiruga, I investigate how God reveals himself in tradition, word and history, arriving at the revelation as Jesus of Nazareth, considering the cross and the resurrection as part of God’s revelation as Jesus Christ. Finally, I analyze the thoughts of Queiruga about God’s revelation in different religious manifestations. The author believes that all religions are truthful and, because of that, are actual paths leading to salvation to all who honestly live their faith. / A presente dissertação sobre os Lugares teológicos da revelação divina no pensamento de Andrés Torres Queiruga tem por objetivo aprofundar a compreensão dos lugares da revelação divina tendo como base as ideias do grande autor moderno, Andrés Torres Queiruga. Inicialmente analiso a questão da revelação como experiência humana, tendo Deus como sujeito. Na perspectiva de Queiruga, a revelação não cai do céu, como algo estranho aos humanos. O processo revelador integra-se na própria constituição do ser humano. Deus toma a iniciativa de se revelar. Revela-se a todos e desde sempre na generosidade irrestrita de seu amor. Seguindo os passos de Queiruga, nesta dissertação, investigo ainda o modo como Deus se revela na tradição, na palavra e na história, chegando à culminância da revelação em Jesus de Nazaré, considerando a cruz e a ressurreição como parte dessa revelação de Deus em Jesus Cristo. Por fim, analiso o pensamento de Queiruga sobre a revelação de Deus nas diferentes manifestações religiosas. Para o autor, todas as religiões são verdadeiras e constituem, por isso mesmo, caminhos reais de salvação, para os que buscam viver a fé de forma honesta.

[pt] A revelação divina hoje se caracteriza por um trabalho de pesquisa sobre a concepção da revelação de Deus na história. Enfatiza um repensar contínuo da percepção de Deus como condição para a realização humana, à luz do pensamento de Andrés Torres Queiruga. Circunscreve-se a uma preocupação com a fé diante da sensibilidade do homem hodierno, com atenção à situação cultural, nascida a partir da modernidade. Metodologicamente, buscamos: compreender a concepção tradicional de revelação; discorrer sobre a teologia da revelação de Torres Queiruga, como rica alternativa para estabelecer comunicação com a sociedade hodierna; evidenciar as consequências teológicas da concepção de revelação e sua práxis. A dimensão do sofrimento e da cruz aponta que o silêncio divino é consequência da surdez e resistências humanas no processo de acolhida da revelação. Ele cria para salvar e, ao salvar, revela-se. Os resultados esperados apontam a necessidade de um árduo e dedicado trabalho de retraduzir – com as categorias da linguagem moderna – a fé revelada de modo pleno em Jesus de Nazaré. No afã de mostrar que o embate não é o melhor caminho para a percepção de Deus, sabiamente o autor busca uma zona de contato entre aquilo que existe de melhor tanto na fé quanto na modernidade. A partir dessa percepção pedagógico-metodológica da necessidade de valorizar o melhor com o melhor, isto é, aquilo que é o essencial de cada uma, a sua obra ressalta a concepção de revelação para a realização do homem. / [en] Divine revelation today is characterized by a research work on the conception of the God s revelation in history. It emphasizes a continuous rethinking of God s perception as a condition for human realization in light of Andrés Torres Queiruga s thought. It is circumscribed a preoccupation with the faith faced with the sensibility of the modern human being, taking into consideration the cultural situation which has been born of modernity. Methodologically, we seek: to understand the traditional conception of revelation; to discuss the Torres Queiruga s theology of the revelation as a wealth alternative to establish communication with current society; evidence of the theological consequences of the conception of revelation and its praxis. The suffering and cross dimension points out that divine silence is the consequence of deafness and human resistance in the process of revelation reception. He creates to save and, in saving, reveals himself. Expected results indicate the requirement for an arduous and dedicated work to retranslate - considering modern language demands - faith fully revealed in Jesus of Nazareth throughout the salvation history. In the diligence of identifying that the clash is not the best way for perception of God, author wisely seeks a zone of meeting considering the best in both faith and modernity. From this pedagogical-methodological perception of the need to value the best with the best, namely what is the essential of each one, his work emphasizes the revelation conception for the human being realization.

Theologian Andrés Torres Queiruga helps us to reflect upon this happening of divine revelation that takes place in the history and in the innermost of each human being like a creating and saving action. Before the Jewish particularism that closed at their limits all revelation and salvation possibilities, the concrete experience of Jesus of Nazareth reveals that God loves everyone as sons and daughters and He wants all people to be saved. The Second Vatican Council helped us to update this good news, recognizing in all cultures and religions this revelatory and salvific presence of God, challenging all the church to a respectful approach, typical of who wants to listen more than to talk. The encounter with black cultures was – initially – dramatic, but the rediscovery of the Christian message with a liberating and salvific content, it made possible a compromised engagement of the African descendent contributing dynamically in the evangelization process. The Liturgical-pastoral action, attentive to enculturation demands, seeks to take into account the values of these and other cultures, so that the mystery of Christ be expressed and celebrated fully and fruitfully. Thenceforth at living the essential Christian identity, ours discover that we are called to dialogue with those who profess a faith different from us and like us live in full pursuit of truth, as it is the case of religions of African origin. / Os afro-brasileiros descendem de culturas profundamente religiosas, nas quais a experiência de Deus norteia toda a existência. Acolhem a revelação divina no cotidiano de suas vidas e, de forma muito criativa, respondem ao Deus que se revela. O teólogo Andrés Torres Queiruga nos ajuda a refletir sobre esse acontecer da revelação divina, que se dá na história e no íntimo de cada ser humano como uma ação criadora e salvadora. Diante do particularismo judaico, que fechava em seus limites todas as possibilidades de revelação e salvação, a experiência concreta de Jesus de Nazaré revela que Deus ama a todos como filhos e filhas e quer que todas as pessoas sejam salvas. O Concílio Vaticano II nos ajudou a atualizar esta boa-notícia, reconhecendo em todas as culturas e religiões essa presença reveladora e salvadora de Deus, desafiando toda a Igreja a uma aproximação respeitosa, própria de quem quer mais escutar que falar. O encontro com as culturas negras foi – inicialmente - dramático, mas a redescoberta do teor libertador e salvífico da mensagem cristã, possibilitou um engajamento comprometido dos afrodescendentes, contribuindo, de forma dinâmica, no processo evangelizador. A ação litúrgico-pastoral, atenta às exigências da inculturação, busca levar em conta os valores dessas e das demais culturas, a fim de que o mistério de Cristo seja manifestado e celebrado de forma plena e frutuosa. A partir daí, vivendo o essencial da identidade cristã, descobrimos que somos chamados ao diálogo com quem professa a fé diferente de nós e que, assim como nós, vive em busca da verdade plena, como é o caso das religiões de matriz africana.

[pt] Esta tese se propõe refletir sobre a teologia da revelação em face à cultura contemporânea. Para tanto fazemos uma discussão sobre a pós-modernidade e sua proposta de ampliação da racionalidade, no sentido de acolher a ascensão da experiência como forma de percepção da realidade. Lançamos mão de algumas categorias de Gianni Vattimo e Andrés Torres Queiruga como aporte teórico capaz de nos possibilitar uma aproximação à teologia da revelação. Finalmente, estabeleceremos um diálogo entre estes autores e as discussões recentes sobre os lugares hermenêutico-literários de sentido, para então podermos apontar o desafio do que a cultura pós-moderna põe diante da teologia, a saber, a cooperação no discernimento da fé. Esse Último passo conduzirá a um deslocamento teórico-prático onde a teologia pode ser conduzida da condição de tuteladora doutrinária, a outra condição, de fonte de discernimento para as múltiplas vivências da fé cristã. / [en] The purpose of the present thesis is the reflection on the challenges that Contemporary culture brings to Theology of Revelation. To do so, we open the discussion with post-modernity and its purpose to enlarge rationality, in the sense of introducing experience as a valuable way of perceiving reality. We use Gianni Vattimo s and Andres Torres Queiruga s cathegories as Theoretic approaches in order to introduce the dialogue with Theology of Revelation. Then, we establish a dialogue between these authors and the recent discussions on hermeneutic-literary places of meaning, in order to point out the challenge with which post modern culture faces Theology, i/e, the cooperation in the discernment of faith. This last step will take us to a practical-theoretical dislocation where Theology may change its condition of doctrinal tuthorship to another condition of discernment as a source of multiples experiences of christian faith.

At one time, we intend to indicate that it is possible that a literary work may inspire a theological and philosophical thought without being necessary to prove the religious faith or to unveil a philosophical theory established by the writer. For that purpose, we suggest as authors the theologians Andrés Torres Queiruga, Juan Antonio Estrada, and Ivone Gebara, as well as the philosophers Paul Ric ur, Blaise Pascal and Arthur Schopenhauer. At the same time, we emphasize the Book of Ecclesiastes, of which the carioca writer was a constant reader. Therefore we aim at highlighting and understanding more deeply in the above mentioned book the presence of evil in its most varied aspects in human relations. / A presente pesquisa apresenta um estudo sobre o mal a partir da leitura da obra Quincas Borba, de Machado de Assis, tendo como referência um viés da teologia e da filosofia uma vez que este problema historicamente suscitou questionamentos em ambos os campos do conhecimento. Concomitantemente, pretendemos apontar para a possibilidade de uma obra literária fazer surgir uma reflexão teológica e filosófica, sem contanto, ser necessário provar a religiosidade do escritor ou desvelar uma doutrina filosófica criada pelo mesmo. Para tanto, propomos como autores de base os teólogos Andrés Torres Queiruga, Juan Antonio Estrada, e a teóloga Ivone Gebara, e os filósofos Paul Ric ur, Blaise Pascal e Arthur Schopenhauer. Ao mesmo tempo, damos uma relevância ao livro do Eclesiastes, do qual o escritor carioca era leitor assíduo. Com isso, pretendemos evidenciar e compreender mais profundamente na já mencionada obra machadiana a presença do mal em suas mais facetadas manifestações nas relações humanas.

It brings as fundamental essence the theologian Andrés Torres Queiruga, that uncovers in modernity a consequence of the main virtues of Christianity. It points horizons to the useful dialogue between Christianity and modernity and contributes to a modern reinterpretation of this religion to it can stand firm and contextualized in its proposal. So it brings a review and actualization of Christianity in the highly regarded categories enabling a modern rereading of the religion so traditional. We concluded that it is appropriate to science of the religion and o theology provides this role, searching for collaborate for that it can occur a new look and a new rethink of the Christianity in the modernity. Only in the view of a new paradigm, the Christianity will be in the dialogue with other religions / Esta tese mostra que as mudanças culturais proporcionadas pela Modernidade possibilitaram a crise do cristianismo. Traz como âmago fundamental o teólogo Andrés Torres Queiruga, que descortina na Modernidade uma conseqüência das principais virtudes do cristianismo. Ele indica horizontes para o diálogo profícuo entre cristianismo e Modernidade, e contribui para uma reinterpretação moderna dessa religião para que ela possa se manter firme e contextualizada na sua proposta. Assim traz uma revisão e atualização do cristianismo dentro de novas categorias conceituais possibilitando uma releitura moderna dessa religião tão tradicional. Concluímos que cabe também a Ciências da Religião e a Teologia propiciarem este papel, procurando colaborar para que possa ocorrer um novo olhar e um novo repensar do cristianismo na Modernidade. Somente dentro da perspectiva de um novo paradigma o cristianismo poderá se concretizar no diálogo com outras religiões
