The experience of organisational development consultants working in the systems psychodynamic stanceMyburg, Hester Susanna 11 1900 (has links)
When working from the systems psychodynamic stance, consultants experience that they become part of the group dynamics through projection, projective identification, transference and counter-transference. This research was undertaken to explore the impact on consultants doing systems psychodynamic consultation in their own formal system within a large financial institution in South Africa. Findings were that primary (race, gender and age), and secondary (social identity, language and skills, or level of expertise in this consulting stance) diversity factors strongly impact on them. Consultants play a strong containment role. Consultants experienced the effect at all levels of their lives, including intellectual (struggling to function and think clearly), physical (insomnia, eating disorders, usual exercise not helping), emotional (crying and anger) and social (their work not being understood by friends and family, growing apart from loved ones). For all of them the positive spin-off was the personal growth on the journey that they embarked on. / Industrial and Organisational Psychology / M. Comm. (Industrial and Organisational Psychology)

Approche psychanalytique de la psychose : structure, logique, clinique, éthique / Psychoanalytic approach to psychosis : structure, logic, clinical, ethicalSakellariou, Dimitris Petros 05 November 2011 (has links)
For Freud and Lacan psychosis is not a deficiency. Nowadays, Schreber’s text still remains an unequalled paradigmatic treatise. For Freud, paranoid delirium is an attempt at recovery, and for Lacan it is an attempt to analyze severe logic. The thorny question of psychotic transference still remains. Freud does not believe that a psychotic patient is capable of analytical transference. Lacan thinks that at the beginning, the transference is likely to provoke a trigged of, furthermore the psychotic has the object a in his pocket. Freud continued seeing psychotic patients even though he dissuaded his students from doing so. Lacan, who psychosis before psychoanalysis, suggests that the analyst should not draw back in the face of psychosis. Can the psychotic subject, which stays out of every social bond established, be received by analytical speech? This is what we examine throughout the thesis. If the subject is not cured of his psychosis, can he invent substitutes within the treatment in order to deal with it? Thus, there is no general solution but rather a contingency approach which can betaken. There is no guarantee but there might be the analyst’s desire…

Previous issue date: 2016-09-16 / Conselho Nacional de Desenvolvimento Científico e Tecnológico / The dissertation Um olhar sobre a clínica da psicose: transferência e pré-conceito [A look at
the clinic of psychosis: transference and pre-concept] aims to discuss the riddle presented to
the analyst when facing the Clinic of Psychosis. In treating Lucius, the clinical case of this
work, the analyst noted the existence of a type of patient transfer which was manifested by
loaning the analyst's image to attempt to invest libido in the external world. The dissertation
construction process begins with a rescue of the writings of Freud, Lacan and Aulagnier about
paranoia; passing to an elaboration on the absence of the gaze in psychosis, and then unrolling
the construction of the concept of transference in it. At the end of the research, a new chapter
was inserted because another enigma arose during this journey: the existence in the analyst of
a pre-concept related to psychosis, which is portrayed from an ideal which is subject to
subsequent developments and crossings in this clinic. Through Fundamental Psychopathology
and Clinical Method, this research worked with the singular that emerged in the clinic, which,
somehow, was revealed as a pathos in need of a logos / A dissertação Um olhar sobre a clínica da psicose: transferência e pré-conceito tem como
objetivo discutir o enigma apresentado à analista diante da Clínica da Psicose. No tratamento

erotism] addresses the theme of erotism, aiming to demonstrate how this concept is related
to the practice of psychoanalysis and the effects of the encounter-mismatch with the patient
Under the academic research perspective in fundamental psychopathology and clinical
method of psychoanalysis, the analytic experience is considered as a basis for
consideration on the hassle triggered in the analyst. Leaning over the transference aspects
involved in the clinical case, we seek an understanding for what was perceived as
enigmatic in the encounter with the patient.
Not finding a supposed demand, the analyst perceives himself immersed in the failure of
his expectations regarding the purpose to intervene. Have not being accepted the expected
effects of his interpretations, the words seem to be released on a sterile field. As a reaction
to anxiety, the analyst throws himself in an impulse of an erotic character, which bursts
through the encounter with the void and is directed to completeness. Support the void,
which is the space for the listening devoted to patient, it seems unsustainable, so the
eroticism lends itself to fill that hole perceived as threatening by the analyst.
What was still presented as unspeakable, affecting the analyst, it was transitioning in a
space in which the pathos gradually enriched the research, becoming logos. Thus, the
unveiling of the transferential content shows itself as relevant for the transmission of this
research, which values the singularity in the meeting proposed by the analytic situation / Nesta dissertação intitulada O vazio como significante do erotismo é abordada a temática
incômodo desencadeado no analista.

A transferência e a ação educativa / Transfer and educational actionMonteiro, Elisabete Aparecida 26 April 2000 (has links)
The discussion that emerges from Psychoanalysis regarding the impossibility on education points out to the limits of the existing educational activity, which allows us to reflect, throughout the relationship with the notion of transference, about what is conventionally called \"teacher-student relationship.\" Educators do not always realize that education is not limited to external reality, since the actors in this supposed relationship are immerse in a transference reality. We understand the alleged teacher-student relationship as the core where education develops itself. However, what the current Pedagogy (Education) envisions as prediction and control of the effects of this \"relationship\", namely, the domain of scientific knowledge about the development of maturational qualification (capacities) and the adjustments of educator´s practices to the reality of each student, opposes to the unpredictable nature inherent to the educational activity. Once submitted to the \"laws\" of the unconscious, the effects of the encounter teacher-student are beyond prediction and control. What should interest us, then, is to understand the origin of these effects. And this is what the concept of transference elucidates.
