Studies dealing with research about the connection between the addictive behavior on the internet and the use of addictive substance are not a lot and it was never proved their direct connection. The research of this thesis is focused on the research of their the connection. I chose the population of university as a research group, in which I wanted to confirm or refute this connection. Primarily the main reason of this research was to find out the connection between the addictive behavior on the internet and the use of addictive substance, farther also the differences between two different university fields, in which could be expected differences in the exploration of addictive behavior. For the purposes of this research was chosen questionnaire form of data collection, those questionnaires were distributed to the students directly in the classroom. The selection of the research group was randomly selected representatives of the technical and humanities field - they were chosen students of cybernetics and robotics filed of the faculty of electrotechnics of ČVUT, as a typical representative of techincal sphere, and students of psychology field of the faculty of phylosophy of Charles Univesity, which is a typical humanitarian field. The exact reason of it stays still unknown. There are theories that say that dysfunctional collaboration of afferent systems causes developmental coordination disorder. Thanks to afferent systems a human organism is able to perceive different modalities. One of the modalities is a perception of verticality. In theoretical part of this thesis we summarized information about developmental coordination disorder and postural and balance control. In experimental part we tested 35 pupils of primary school (age 13-15). Using MABC-2 we classified the pupils into children with and without predispositions for developmental coordination disorder. The topic of my thesis is experimental schools in Prague Michle, Nusle and Hostivař. It tries to shed light on the circumstances of the birth and end of these schools and to determine their characteristic features. Emphasis is put on the social aspect of experimentation and its close relation to the environment of the First Czechoslovak Republic. Inspiration by modern pedagogical theories is taken into account. The thesis traces the lives of several teachers. As sources were used not only archives but also a series of interviews with graduates of these schools. It aims, on the basis of a comparison of written and oral sources, to give a complex image of experimental education in Czechoslovakia at the time of the First Republic and the Protectorate. Last but not least it tries to answer the question whether experimental schools can contribute to today's education. The master thesis deals with failed studies at universities in the Czech Republic. The first part is focused on literary research, on explanation of theoretical terms and on statistical methods, which are subsequently applied in the analytical part. These are decision trees and logistic regression that helped to determine the influence of factors on studies without graduation. The aim of this master thesis is to find significant factors, to compile a profile of failed students and to suggest the measures which could reduce their elimination from tertiary education.

The topic of this master thesis is focused on the analysis of NGOs in the field of education in the Central Bohemia Region. The thesis points out relationship and development of the private, public and non-profit sector in education. The goal is to capture the development of NGOs active in the field of education in the Central Bohemia Region, to identify their status, analyse the effectiveness of their activities and compare the current non-profit organization with a historic non-profit organization. The first part focuses on the historical development of NGOs in the field of education from 17. century. More specifically, it monitors development and changes in their institutional arrangements, legal environment and financing. Particularly is monitored Piarist college in Slany. Within the second part of work the current state of NGOs in the field of education in the Central Bohemia Region is analysed. It focuses on church schools and publicly beneficial organizations. This analysis is related to the performance of non-profit organizations, economic results and their justification in education. The last part compares historical non-profit organization with current ones.

The theoretical part deals with the basic concepts of economic theory and methods of calculating return on investment in education. The practical part deals with the analysis of the survey that people recognize the importance of investment in human capital, and even with the introduction of tuition fees are willing to invest in tertiary education. The conclusion contains a summary of the proposed funding opportunities in higher education.

The goal of the thesis is to formulate suggestion to Czech universities regarding publication of textbooks and academic texts in electronic formats. The thesis also provides a general view of the Czech ebook market -- the history, formats and digital right management of ebooks are described. The process of ebook elaboration and reading devices with their pros and cons are also mentioned. The comparison of world and Czech ebook and etextbook market is emphasized and the availability of Czech etextbooks and academic text in Czech higher education institutions is mapped. The hypothesis that Czech students' demand for etextbooks is sufficient for profitable etextbook elaboration by Czech higher education institutions in the way that prevents from illegal sharing of content and violating of authorial laws is examined.

This thesis aims to analyze whether the volumes of TV, radio and print advertisements of economic- management universities relate to the number of applications at these universities. The goal is to find whether the data correspond to each other somehow. The data in the thesis are processed using descriptive analysis of secondary data. The thesis is based on media data Admosphere, Mediaresearch, a. s. These data presents an overview of all realized commercials of universities in the Czech Republic in 2011-2013. The data are compared with publicly accessible reports on interest of applicants for study at universities in the Czech Republic in 2011-2013. The theoretical part deals with marketing communications at university, its objectives and discusses the most widely used types of communication. There is also closely examined TV, radio and print advertising. The analytical part analyzes mentioned media and educational data. Analysis takes place first in the whole economic field, followed with close examination of six economic universities. In conclusion, it is judged whether the data correspond together.

This thesis is a response to current education reform in the Czech Republic. EU objective and their long-term goals will be defined in the introduction. The main objective of the thesis is comparison of two different educational systems, both of which are under control of the European Union. There are two countries selected for this paper, the Czech Republic and the Netherlands. Not only the educational systems, but also the method of financing is compared. The Czech educational system is entirely dependent on public funding for their educational system, while in Netherlands a significant part of the finances going to the educational system is covered by students themselves. Besides other things current issues in educational sector, which are faced by selected countries, will be discussed in the thesis as well. Two private schools were chosen for comparison to illustrate the situation of private education in the Czech Republic, University of Finances and Administration and The European Polytechnic Institute in Kunovice.
