國中生樂觀/悲觀傾向、課業壓力評估、課業壓力因應方式與學校生活適應之相關研究

本研究旨在探討國中生樂觀/悲觀傾向、課業壓力評估、課業壓力因應方式與學校生活適應間之關係,以及個人背景變項在這幾個變項間之差異情形,最後並藉由結構方程模式的建立,試圖找出各變項間之相互影響關係。 為達成本研究之目的,首先蒐集相關文獻,加以研覽與分析,據之作為本研究架構的理論基礎。在實徵研究方面,以桃園縣公立國中一至三年級1224名男女學生為受試者,以修訂之「樂觀/悲觀量表」、「壓力評估量表」、「學校生活適應量表」及自編之「課業壓力因應量表」為研究工具,進行問卷調查。所得資料以因素分析、信度分析、描述統計分析、皮爾遜積差相關分析、t考驗、單因子變異數分析及SEM結構方程模式等統計方法加以處理。依分析結果發現:一、國中生之樂觀傾向偏低,悲觀傾向偏高;二、國中生之初級評估結果高而次級評估結果普通;三、國中生最常採取的課業壓力因應方式為「積極情緒焦點因應」,其次為「消極情緒焦點因應」、「積極問題焦點因應」,而最少使用的是「消極問題焦點因應」;四、國中生之學校生活適應情形普通,而在各向度的適應上,以同儕關係適應最佳,學習適應最差;五、國中生之性別在壓力評估、各種壓力因應方式、及多數學校生活適應(學習、同儕關係、師生關係及整體)有顯著差異存在;六、國中生之年級在樂觀/悲觀傾向、次級評估、多數因應方式(積極問題、消極問題、積極情緒)及多數學校生活適應(學習、師生關係、心理適應及整體)有顯著差異存在;七、在各變項間之影響關係上,根據研究者所建構之因果路徑模式圖得知,國中生之樂觀傾向與積極壓力因應方式會導致較佳的學校生活適應情形;國中生之悲觀傾向會透過消極壓力因應方式導致較差的學校生活適應情形;國中生之次級評估結果及樂觀傾向可以預測積極壓力因應方式的使用情形;國中生之次級評估結果及悲觀傾向可以預測消極壓力因應方式的使用情形;若進一步進行影響強弱之分析,則會發現悲觀對學校生活適應不具有預測力存在,而樂觀則對學校生活適應具有高度預測力;積極因應方式對學校生活適應的預測力大於消極因應方式;次級評估對選擇使用積極因應方式的預測力大於樂觀;但次級評估對選擇使用消極因應方式之預測力則小於悲觀。 / The purpose of this research is to discuss the relationship between junior high school students’ optimism/pessimism tendency, academic appraisal ways, academic coping ways, and school-life adjustment; and the differences between junior high school students’ gender and grade differences in these four variables; at last, to find out the influence relation between these variables by establishing a structural equation model. The subjects of this research are 1224 junior high school students in Tao-Yuan. The measures used in this research include: OPI, appraisal scale, academic coping scale, and school-life adjustment scale. And, the statistic methods used in this research include: factor analysis, item analysis, descriptive analysis, T-test, One-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation, and SEM etc. The findings are as follow: 1.Junior high school students have median-low optimism tendency, median-high pessimism tendency, high primary appraisal, and median secondary appraisal. 2.The frequency of each coping way that junior high school students use most is “positive emotional-focused coping”, then “negative emotional-focused coping”, “positive problem-focused coping”, and “negative problem-focused coping”. 3.Junior high school students have median school-life adjustment, and in all parts of school-life adjustment, junior high school students have the greatest adjustment in “peer-relation” and the worst adjustment in “learning adjustment”. 4.“Age” and “gender” have significant differences in most of the variables. 5.High optimism tendency and positive coping strategy can affect junior high school students’ greater school-life adjustment, and pessimism tendency can only affect their school-life adjustment through negative coping ways; secondary appraisal and optimism tendency can be used to predict positive coping ways; secondary appraisal and pessimism tendency can be used to predict negative coping ways. Further analysis shows that positive coping ways have greater affection on school-life adjustment than negative coping ways; secondary appraisal has greater affection on positive coping ways than optimism and lower affection on negative coping ways than pessimism.

慢性失眠者與情境性失眠高危險族群之壓力因應與失眠的關係 / The Relationship of Coping and Insomnia in Chronic Insomniacs and Normal Sleepers Vulnerable to Stress-related Sleep Disturbance

研究目的:失眠為國人常見的健康問題,造成患者夜間睡眠的痛苦,對白天生活品質也有明顯的影響,站在預防失眠慢性化的角度切入,找出情境性失眠高危險群的心理病理特性,應可為防治失眠疾患提供更積極的建議。本研究目的一即是想透過與好眠組的比較,討論壓力因應風格、持續失眠相關病因(對睡眠不適當認知、睡眠相關安全行為、身心激發程度)在失眠高危險族群及慢性失眠者的特性為何。第二個目的則想驗證失眠持續因素對失眠的影響路徑,並探討壓力因應風格在失眠持續模式中的影響性為何。 研究方法:本研究以橫斷式問卷調查法收集資料,蒐集有效問卷情境性失眠高風險群組74份、好眠組75份、與慢性失眠組62份,總共211份有效問卷。統計方法則根據不同研究目的分別採用單因子變異數分析及結構方程模型的路徑分析進行資料處理。 研究結果:慢性失眠者比好眠者與慢性失眠者有更高的睡眠不適當認知、更多睡眠相關安全行為更高的睡前激發程度。慢性失眠者與情境性失眠高危險族群在面對壓力時,也比好眠者使用較多的「社會支持、情緒調節與發洩的調解」、「逃避」、「問題解決、重釋與接受」等因應策略。此外,情境性失眠高危險族群也比好眠者用更多的睡眠相關安全行為來因應疲憊或睡不好的狀況。另外,本研究路徑分析結果發現睡眠不適當認知會透過安全行為及激發程度而影響失眠,且在考驗各個壓力因應風格對失眠持續模式之影響時,發現較一致的結果是逃避因應可能會增加個體使用更多睡眠相關安全行為而惡化失眠 研究討論:研究結果支持過去理論認為睡眠不適當認知、睡眠相關安全行為及睡前激發程度為失眠的持續因子。為預防情境性失眠高危險族群其失眠症狀慢性化,建議重點應放在睡眠的衛生教育,並且不只是教導適當因應失眠的行為,重要的是需包括增強對失眠處理的控制感、建立適當合理的藥物使用概念、矯正對失眠後果的災難化想法。最後,過去少有其他研究討論逃避因應風格與失眠的關係,建議對此有興趣的研究者可對逃避因應風格與失眠的關係做進一步的重覆驗證與探討。 / OBJECTIVE: The goals of the study are to examine (1) the differences of coping, dysfunctional beliefs and attitudes about sleep, sleep related safety behaviors and pre-sleep arousals among chronic insomniacs, normal sleepers vulnerable to stress-related sleep disturbance and good sleepers (2) the interactions of coping with other etiological factors in the model of persistent insomnia. METHOD: The sample was composed of 211 participants. Participants were asked to complete a set of questionnaires, including the Ford Insomnia Response to Stress Test (FIRST), the Insomnia Severity Index, the Pre-Sleep Arousal Scale, the Sleep-Related Behaviour Questionnaire, the Dysfunctional beliefs and attitudes about sleep questionnaire, COPE, the Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale, the Beck Anxiety Inventory and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Inventory. The participants were categorized into three subgroups, 75 good sleepers, 74 normal sleepers vulnerable to stress-related sleep disturbance, and 62 chronic insomniacs, according to clinical interview and/or their scores on the FIRST. RESULT: The results showed that chronic insomniacs reported more dysfunctional beliefs and attitudes about sleep, sleep related safety behaviors and pre-sleep arousals than the other groups. In addition, chronic insomniacs and normal sleepers vulnerable to stress-related sleep disturbance used more coping styles of “problem solving, positive reinterpretation and acceptance”, “social support, focus on and venting of emotions”, and “avoidance” than good sleepers. Also, normal sleepers vulnerable to stress-related sleep disturbance reported more safety behaviors to cope insomnia than good sleepers. Furthermore, the path analysis showed that the safety behaviors and arousal play an important mediating role between dysfunctional beliefs and attitudes about sleep and insomnia in chronic insomniacs. Finally, data showed that avoidance coping could predict the frequency of sleep related safety behaviors. CONCLUSION: The results imply that in order to prevent normal sleepers vulnerable to stress-related sleep disturbance from becoming chronic insomniacs, sleep hygiene education program should incorporate methods that are designed to reduce maladaptive sleep beliefs and sleep related safety behaviors. The relationship found between avoidance coping and insomnia is also of interest and require replication in future researches.

父母教養、自我控制、自我韌性與自尊對青少年壓力因應方式之影響研究 / A Study of the Influence of Parenting, Ego-Control, Ego-Resiliency and Self-Esteem on Adolescents' Stress Coping

本研究旨在瞭解青少年子女壓力因應行為的成因,除了以Maccoby & Martin(1983)的父母教養方式為獨變項之外,還引入Block & Block(1980)提出的自我控制與自我韌性再加上自尊做為中介變項,以探討父母教養方式與青少年子女壓力因應方式的關連影響,以及自我控制、自我韌性、自尊的中介效果。 研究對象為台北縣市之日間部高中學生,共計8所高中653位學生,施以父母教養方式量表、自我控制量表、自我韌性量表、自尊量表、壓力因應策略量表,並將調查所得資料以描述統計、推論統計、結構方程模式等統計方法進行分析。 研究結果顯示:(1)受試者知覺到父母親在反應向度和要求向度上都偏高,其中父母要求又多於父母反應,若父母要求高反應卻低時可能對自尊有不利影響。(2)受試者使用最多的因應策略是情緒取向積極因應,次之為問題取向積極因應,再次之為問題取向消極因應,最少使用的是情緒取向消極因應。高反應高要求的父母教養方式有助於讓子女使用較多的積極因應、較少的消極因應。(3)父母反應對子女的積極因應有直接影響,也會透過自我控制、自我韌性、自尊為中介歷程而間接影響,父母反應對子女的消極因應則是完全透過自我控制、自我韌性、自尊為中介歷程來間接影響。(4)父母要求對子女的積極因應有直接影響,但對子女的消極因應則沒有直接影響,也都無法透過自我控制、自我韌性、自尊為中介歷程而間接影響子女的積極因應或消極因應。(5)模式的契合度指標大部份都在可接受的範圍內,但模型不夠簡約無法完美描述觀察資料,且父母教養的要求向度在模式中並非一個理想的預測變項,將來需要更進一步修改模式,使模式更精簡更能契合資料。 最後,本研究依據研究結果進行討論並提出建議,做為未來研究與親職教育、學校教育之參考。

不同國高中班級組織型態、人格特質、壓力因應方式與大學生幸福感之研究

本研究旨在瞭解畢業自不同國高中班級組織型態之大學生幸福感的概況,並分析人格特質、壓力因應方式與畢業自不同國高中班級組織型態之大學生幸福感間之關係。 本研究採取問卷調查法,以便利取樣的方式,選取台灣地區北部畢業自不同國高中班級組織型態之大學生591人為研究對象,以「自尊量表」、「內外控量表」,「壓力因應方式量表」及「幸福感量表」為研究工具。所蒐集資料以描述統計、單因子變異數分析、皮爾遜積差相關分析、多元逐步迴歸等方法進行統計分析。 本研究的主要發現如下: 一、大學生整體幸福感為中間偏高的程度。其自我肯定、人際關係、身心健康及生活滿意度皆呈現偏向正向的態度,尤其人際關係方面,但身心健康方面的平均得分是相對較低的。 二、畢業自不同國高中班級組織之大學生,其整體幸福感並無顯著差異存在。但畢業自「男合合」國高中班級組織大學生之身心健康顯著高於畢業自「女合合」國高中班級組織大學生。 三、情緒取向積極因應方式、自尊及問題取向積極因應方式,為預測畢業自「男合合」國高中班級組織型態大學生的整體幸福感之重要變項,總變異量為39.6%。且情緒取向積極因應方式、自尊及問題取向積極因應方式與其整體幸福感及各層面間皆存有正相關。 四、自尊、問題取向積極因應方式、情緒取向積極因應方式及情緒取向消極因應方式為預測畢業自「男合分」國高中班級組織型態大學生的整體幸福感之重要變項,總變異量為46.9%。且自尊、問題取向積極因應方式及情緒取向積極因應方式與其整體幸福感及各層面間皆存有正相關;情緒取向消極因應方式則與其整體幸福感及人際關係、生活滿意度間皆存有負相關。 五、自尊、情緒取向積極因應方式及問題取向積極因應方式為預測畢業自「女合合」國高中班級組織型態大學生的整體幸福感之重要變項,總變異量為35.2%。且自尊、情緒取向積極因應方式及問題取向積極因應方式,與其整體幸福感及各層面間皆存有正相關。 六、自尊、情緒取向積極因應方式及內外控為預測畢業自「女合分」國高中班級組織型態大學生的整體幸福感之重要變項,總變異量為28.9%。且自尊及情緒取向積極因應方式與其整體幸福感及各層面間皆存有正相關;內外控則與整體幸福感及自我肯定、人際關係、生活滿意度間皆存有負相關。 七、唯有情緒取向消極因應方式為預測畢業自「女分分」國高中班級組織型態大學生的整體幸福感之重要變項,總變異量為14.9%。且情緒取向消極因應方式與其生活滿意度間存有負相關。 本研究最後根據研究發現與結果,對畢業自不同國高中班級組織型態之大學生幸福感的經營及未來研究方面提出具體的建議。

青少年親子關係、自我概念與壓力因應策略之相關性研究 / A study on parent-child relationship, self-concept and coping strategies of adolescents

本研究旨在瞭解青少年的親子關係、自我概念對其壓力因應策略的影響。以臺北市與新北市的國中二年級學生為研究對象,採分層隨機抽樣與自填問卷方式進行資料蒐集,共回收427份有效問卷。透過卡方檢定、獨立樣本T檢定、皮爾森積差相關、單因子變異數分析進行統計檢定,並由迴歸分析與路徑分析建立親子關係、自我概念與壓力因應策略的路徑圖。本研究之主要發現如下: 一、 在背景變項的部分,男女性青少年在自我概念上有差異;父母的教育程度、職業、家庭社經地位對自我概念皆有影響;而青少年居住地區不同,其親子關係、自我概念與壓力因應策略亦有所差異。 二、 在青少年的親子關係中,相較於彼此的支持信任,與父母理性的溝通以及情感上的交流分享較缺乏。 三、 青少年的心理自我概念與生理自我概念普遍偏低。 四、 面臨壓力時,青少年多採正向的因應策略;在正向策略中,最常採取暫時擱置問題策略,最少採取尋求師長的建議策略。 五、 青少年的親子關係越好、自我概念越佳,壓力因應策略越正向,透過迴歸分析預測壓力因應策略發現,親子關係與自我概念可解釋達42.1%的變異量。 據此,本研究提出以下建議: 一、 學校應規劃壓力因應策略的方案課程,使青少年學習更多元的因應策略;並重視青少年期的心理風險與社會適應問題,提升青少年的自我概念。 二、 社會工作實務的部分,可安排親子溝通相關議題的親職教育課程,同時設計親子團體,增加親子互動與學習的機會。 三、 父母應尊重青少年為一獨立的個體,不過度干涉青少年的隱私,避免以權威的態度來管教子女,而是在相互信任的關係中,以開放平等的態度,適時地關懷青少年的生活狀況。 四、 傳播媒體可增加親職教育、親子關係等相關資訊的普及性,但也應對所傳播之訊息嚴格把關,將各類資訊分級以符合各年齡層的閱聽人。 / This study aimed at understanding the effect that parent-child relationship and self-concept has on the coping strategies of adolescents. The subjects of this study were selected from the second grade junior high school students in Taipei City and New Taipei City. In-class survey method with structured questionnaire was employed to collect data for the study. A total of 427 valid samples were collected. Based on statistical data analyses, the study findings are as follows: 1. There are differences between male and female’s self-concept. The education, occupation of parents and social economic status have influences on adolescents’ self-concept. Adolescents of different city present significant differences in parent-child relationship, self-concept and coping strategies. 2. Compared to support and trust, adolescents are lack of communication and emotional interaction with their parents. 3. The mental self-concept and social self-concept of adolescents are generally low. 4. When under pressure, adolescents adopt more positive coping strategies. In the positive strategies, the most frequently used coping strategy is temporary- put-off strategies. The least frequently used one is support- seeking strategies. 5. Parent-child relationship and self-concept are significantly associated with coping strategies. Finally, the research provides suggestions based on the result. First, school should pay attention to psychological risks and social adjustment problems of adolescents. Second, social work agencies can provide parenting education program and group work to increase parent-child interaction. Thirdly, parents should respect that the adolescent is an independent individual and should not excessively interfere his/her privacy. Finally, the media community should ensure the correctness of dissemination of information about parenting education and parent-child relationship.

依附、負向情緒調適預期和壓力因應對情緒經驗的影響歷程之探討:以大四學生的生涯抉擇壓力為例 / The Influence of Attachment, Expectancies for Negative Mood Regulation, and Coping on Emotional Experiences: The Stress of Career Choice for Senior College Students

本研究目的在整合依附理論、負向情緒調適預期和壓力因應三種理論觀點,建構面臨生涯抉擇的大四學生之情緒經驗歷程模式。研究採問卷調查法,以台灣八所大學783位大四學生為對象。研究工具包括依附風格量表、負向情緒調適預期量表、生涯抉擇壓力因應量表、快樂感受量表和憂鬱量表。資料分析方法為因素分析、信度分析、皮爾遜積差相關分析、t考驗、單因子變異數分析及結構方程模式。 初步模式驗證發現,初始模式與觀察資料間無法適配,故根據修正指標,刪除不適當路徑、整併觀察變項、將部分觀察變項的殘差連結後,產生三個理論模式。進一步進行模式適配度考驗,顯示三個模式與觀察資料間適配度良好,並能有效解釋變項間的關係。模式一:依附會影響負向情緒調適預期;依附會透過正向壓力因應影響情緒經驗。模式二:依附會影響負向情緒調適預期;依附會透過負向壓力因應影響情緒經驗。模式三:依附會透過情緒焦點因應影響情緒經驗;依附會透過負向情緒調適預期和情緒焦點因應影響情緒經驗。 三個模式的共通處為:依附會影響個人的壓力因應;個人的壓力因應會影響其情緒經驗;依附並不會直接影響個人的情緒經驗,但依附會透過壓力因應而對情緒經驗產生影響;依附會影響個人的負向情緒調適預期。 研究建議為:宜積極發展生涯輔導方案與生涯探索課程;協助個案瞭解依附、負向情緒調適預期和壓力因應對其情緒經驗的影響;針對不安全依附者提供預防介入;以不同性別和不同依附型態者為對象,進行模式的建構與驗證;採焦點團體法或縱貫研究法進行研究;將其他重要變項納入模式中,或探究變項間的關係;依附和情緒經驗等測量工具的改進。 / The purpose of the study was to integrate attachment theory, coping theory, and the perspective of expectancies for negative mood regulation (NMR) to develop the process model of emotional experiences for senior college students encountering the stress of career choice. The participants of the study were 783 senior college students in Taiwan. The participants were evaluated by Attachment Style Scale, NMR Scale, Coping Scale, Happiness Scale, and Depression Scale. The data were analyzed by factor analysis, Cronbach α analysis, Pearson product-moment correlation, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and SEM. In the primitive model testing, the original model couldn’t fit with the observed data. Adjustment is thus made, in accordance with the modification index, to delete the unsuitable paths, combine the observed variances and line the error variances of some observed variances. Three models are generated. As shown in the result of model testing, the three models coordinate with the observed data, explaining the relationships among main variables. Model one: Attachment can affect NMR; attachment can affect emotional experiences through positive coping. Model two: Attachment can affect NMR; attachment can affect emotional experiences through negative coping. Model three: Attachment can affect emotional experiences through emotion-focused coping; attachment can affect emotional experiences through NMR and emotion-focused coping. The similarities in the three models were as follows: Firstly, attachment can affect coping. Secondly, coping can affect emotion. Thirdly, attachment can’t affect emotional experiences directly, but attachment can affect emotional experiences through coping. Fourthly, attachment can affect NMR. The suggestions were as follows: 1.The programs of career guidance and the curriculum of career exploration should be developed. 2. The clients should be assisted to understand the influence of attachment, NMR, and coping on their emotional experiences. 3. The preventive intervention should be provided to students of insecure attachment. 4. The models should be developed and tested according to the participants of different gender and attachment styles. 5. The focus group interview and the longitudinal method should be adopted. 6. Other important variables should be added to the model; alternatively, the relationships of these variables be explored. 7. The instructions of measurement in attachment and emotional experiences should be improved.

單親母親的親職壓力因應策略、親職同理心與兒童虐待傾向關係探討 / Parental coping strategy, parental empathy, and child abuse potential in single mother.

過去研究指出,親職壓力是造成兒童虐待的危險因子之一。本研究探討:親職壓力因應策略與親職同理心對管教行為的影響,或此兩變項是否能調節親職壓力對管教行為的影響,欲透過研究結果來加強兒童虐待的預防。本研究請每位受試者填寫五種量表,分別為:基本資料、親職同理心、親職壓力、親職壓力因應與親職衝突策略量表,利用零相關和階層迴歸,分析142位育有國小子女之單親母親所填寫的量表。研究結果部分符合預期:親職壓力因應策略中的「主動面對問題」、「逃避隱藏情緒」可以調節親職壓力對非暴力管教行為的影響,「情緒認知調整」亦在親職壓力和嚴重攻擊管教行為間扮演調節變項。除了調節作用外,親職壓力因應策略對管教行為有獨特的預測力:「主動面對問題」使用經常性越高,輕度攻擊的使用次數越多,「負面情緒反應」使用經常性越高,心理攻擊和輕度攻擊的使用次數越多。「親職同理心」則對管教行為沒有獨特的預測力,也不具有調節作用。另外亦發現「親職同理心」和「逃避隱藏情緒」可以預測親職壓力。本研究針對研究結果進行討論,包括管教行為與兒童虐待的關係、親職壓力因應策略與管教行為間的關係、親職同理心扮演的角色,以及單親母親兒童虐待行為的預防。 / According to previous studies, parenting stress is one of the risk factors of child abuse. This study explored the influence of parenting stress- coping styles and parental empathy on parenting practices, and examined the moderating effect of these variables on the relationship between parenting stress and parenting practices. The subjects were asked to complete the questionnaires including: basic information, parental empathy scale, parenting stress scale, parenting stress-coping scale, and Parent-Child Conflict Tactics Scales. Zero-order correlation and hierarchical regression analysis were used to analyze the scales completed by 142 single mothers. The results indicated that “Facing the problems actively” and “Evading hidden feelings” could moderate the relationship between parenting stress and non-violent discipline. “Adjustment in sentimental cognition” could moderate the relationship between parenting stress and severe assault. Furthermore, some of the parenting stress- coping styles had main effect on parenting practices: “Facing the problems actively” had a positive effect on minor assault. “Negative sentimental reaction” had a positive effect on psychological aggression and minor assault. There were no main effects nor moderator effect of parental empathy. The relationship between parenting practices and child abuse, the influence of parenting stress- coping styles on parenting practices, the role of parental empathy, and the prevention of child abuse in single-mother households were discussed in this study.
