大學圖書館電子資源管理系統現況調查之研究 / A Survey on electronic resource management systems of university libraries

電子資源與傳統印刷館藏不同的特質,使其必須以不同與傳統印刷館藏的新模式進行管理,但是館員、館藏和技術三個因素影響了圖書館的電子資源管理工作,造成了許多電子資源難以管理的結果,當館員試著解決這些問題時,卻發現了傳統的整合性圖書館系統無法提供所需的支援,於是電子資源管理系統應運而生。 本研究透過文獻探討國內外電子資源管理與系統的相關議題,並透過深度訪談,以了解國內八所大學圖書館和三家廠商電子資源管理所面臨的問題與解決方法,是否能夠符合圖書館的電子資源管理需求。 根據研究發現,提出結論如下:1.確認不同於傳統印刷館藏之電子資源管理新模式;2.建構大學圖書館電子資源管理系統功能要件及標準;3. 國內大學圖書館電子資源管理負責單位與工作流程;4.我國大學圖書館電子資源管理工作遭遇之困難;5.我國大學圖書館電子資源管理系統與功能;6.我國大學圖書館使用現有電子資源管理系統之困難與對未來新系統之期望;7.廠商電子資源管理系統功能與未來發展方向;8.提升我國大學圖書館使用電子資源管理系統使用率之方向。 最後針對前述研究結果提出建議: 對圖書館的建議:1.簡化、重整現有電子資源管理的作業流程;2.發展電子資源使用評鑑;3.訂定電子資源館藏發展政策;4.電子資源管理的新模式;5.提升圖書館對於電子資源管理的主導性。 對廠商的建議:1.以使用者為導向設計電子資源管理系統;2.發展合作機制,整合圖書館新舊系統;3.提高系統與國內大學圖書館使用環境的整合度;4.加強推廣、行銷電子資源管理系統。 / The electronic resources have many different characteristics with traditional print collections, so it must be managed with new model different from traditional print collections, but the librarian, collection and technical caused the difficulties of electronic resources management. When the librarians tried to resolve these problems, they found that the traditional integrated library system is unable to provide the necessary support, so the electronic resource management systems came into being. The study is explored through literary reviews and in-depth interviews in order to understand the problems and solutions with electronic resources management in eight libraries and three vendors in Taiwan and see if they can support the function required of the electronic resources management. Based on the research findings, the conclusions of this study are: 1.identify the new model of the electronic resources management different from traditional print collections; 2.construction of the university libraries’ electronic resources management function required and standards; 3.the departments are responsible for electronic resources management of university libraries in Taiwan; 4.the difficulties of university libraries’ electronic resources management in Taiwan; 5.university libraries’ electronic resources management systems and their functions in Taiwan; 6.the difficulties of using electronic resources management systems and the expectations of new system; 7.the vendors’ electronic resources management products and their future direction of development; 8.the direction of increasing Taiwan's university libraries use of electronic resources management system usage. Finally, according to the results of the study, several suggestions are provided: For the library: 1.simplified and reorganized the existing electronic resource management workflow; 2.the development of electronic resource usage evaluation; 3. construct the electronic resources collection development policy; 4.the new model of electronic resources management; 5.upgrading the libraries’ dominant of electronic resources management. For the vendors: 1.their systems should support user-centered access; 2.intergrated with the existing systems; 3.intergrated with the other vendors’ systems; 4.appropriated the use of the environment in Chinese; 5.to enhance the promotion and marketing of electronic resources management system.

公共圖書館電子資源支援新北市國小教學使用需求之調查研究 / A Study of Elementary School Teachers' Teaching Needs Support by Public Libraries Electronic Collection in New Taipei City

本研究旨在探討公共圖書館電子資源對於新北市國小教師支援教學之需求,透過網站內容分析對八所國立及直轄市立公共圖書館之電子資源網站進行分析,以瞭解可支援新北市國小教師教學需求之電子資源概況,接著對十位曾使用公共圖書館電子資源融入教學中之新北市國小教師進行深度訪談,透過網站內容分析及訪談分析,本研究發現如下: 一、公共圖書館電子資源館藏方面: (一)公共圖書館電子資源種類繁多,各館資源重複者不多,且自購或自建之電子資源數量、比例,各館差距大。 (二)部分相同之電子資源於各公共圖書館網站中所列名稱及資源類型劃分略有不同。 (三)各圖書館網站之內容主題區分與國小學習領域不相符。 (四)大多公共圖書館資源數量最多的主題為「語文」與「社會」領域,而「數學」則是普遍資源數量最少的主題。 (五)公共圖書館以中文電子資源為大宗,其次是英文。 (六)國小學童學習需求差距大,公共圖書館電子資源之適用年齡大多僅以「兒童」分類。 (七)大部分公共圖書館之電子資源需要閱讀證方可使用;少部分電子資源具有取用地點限制;部分電子資源可選擇下載閱讀器方便離線閱讀。 二、國小教師使用公共圖書館電子資源的教學需求方面: (一)國小教師使用公共圖書館電子資源融入教學的因素為:「補充課程內涵與課外知識」、「增長教師專業知能,確認教學內容正確性」、「提升學生的學習興趣」、「方便好用」。 (二)新北市教師認為公共圖書館電子資源適合使用於「準備活動」與「綜合活動」。 (三)新北市教師偏好可互動、具有影音效果的電子資源,因此在課堂上經常「直接播放」公共圖書館電子資源,或輔以Powerpoint及Word重新組織成教材。 (四)新北市國小教師認為使用公共圖書館電子資源於教學的成效為:1.容易引起學生的興趣與動機;2.教師自覺更有教學效能;3.教師能夠自我成長、添增新知;4.擴大學生學習的層面;5.提升學生的學習成就。 (五)可能影響國小教師使用公共圖書館電子資源意願之因素為:1.備課時間不足;2.夥伴教師少;3.教學進度的壓力;4.電子資源內容不符合教學目標;5.電子資源可借閱量不足;6.電子資源分類方式與適用年齡不合使用;7.電子資源的檢索及取用方式不熟悉。 (六)新北市國小教師最常瀏覽新北市立圖書館電子資源,除此之外對於公共圖書館的瞭解所知甚少。 (七)「Google搜尋引擎搜尋」是獲知可使用於教學的公共圖書館電子資源之優先管道。 最後再依據訪談過程中新北教師的建議及研究的結果,提出對教育主管單位、公共圖書館、國小教師及未來後續研究的建議。 / The purpose of this study was to explore the information need of elementary school teachers in their usage of public library electronic resources for teaching in New Taipei City. The content analysis approach and in-depth interview were developed by the research. The major findings of this study are listed as follows: 1. Public libraries electronic collection: (1) There are many kinds of electronic resource in Public libraries, such as the percentage of procurement electronic collection. (2) The same electronic resource were classified to different resource type by different library. (3) The most subject of electronic resource is “Mandarin” and ” Social Studies”in Public library. The less subject is “Mathematics”. (4) The amount of Chinese electronic is more than English. 2. The information need of elementary school teachers in their usage of public library electronic resources for teaching: (1) The factor of using public library electronic resources for teaching is that using as supplementary teaching materials, enhancing the professional knowledge and skills of teachers, lifting the student’s learning interest. (2) Public library electronic are Suitable for “Warm up” and “Wrap up” activities. (3) The elementary school teachers prefer using interactive electronic resource. (4) The negative factors of elementary teacher use electronic resource in teaching is about to be short of time, partner…etc. (5) Google have high priority in searching public library electronic resources for teaching. Accroding to the research finding, there are some suggestions for educational administration, public library, elementary school teachers and follow-up research.

電子期刊E-Metrics評鑑模式應用於大學圖書館之研究 / E-Metrics Assessment Model for the Study of Electronic Journals in University Libraries

由於電子資源蓬勃興起,大學圖書館紛紛引進以滿足師生教學研究之需求,然同時預算規模卻未見增加,加以電子資源市場,尤其是電子期刊部份,每年皆以平均7%~10%漲幅成長,使得圖書館對電子期刊使用及其效益,需要有更清楚的了解與掌握,透過衡量網路化服務與資源品質的方法,除可作為圖書館人員決策參考,並能提供有利的理由以尋求經費支援。 本研究目的希能探討電子期刊E-Metrics評鑑相關理論與研究,以ARL E-Metrics計畫為基礎,對大學圖書館電子期刊提出績效評鑑模式芻議與實證分析。採用研究方法為文獻分析法、深度訪談法與電子計量(E-Metrics)分析法,以國立臺灣大學館藏西文電子期刊為對象進行研究。 經訪談與實證資料分析結果,本研究確認了館藏導向電子期刊的績效評鑑的目的、歸納出電子期刊資源與服務評鑑的程序及方法,並建構大學圖書館電子期刊E-Metrics評鑑模式與要件,包含電子期刊資源、使用、成本與績效四大類型,合計14項指標,同時並獲得具體電子期刊績效評鑑結果,確認國內大學圖書館進行電子期刊E-Metrics評鑑模式之可行性。 最後,本研究根據結論,建議可以質化方式進行電子期刊評鑑研究,以獲得對電子期刊資源的全面性瞭解,並對電子期刊E-Metrics評鑑模式與指標、資料蒐集方式等提出建議。而對於未來研究方向,建議可從朝以下四方面努力:(1)進行網路資源與服務導向電子期刊評鑑模式之研究;(2)開發電子期刊使用統計管理軟體;(3)進行電子期刊成本經濟學研究;(4)進行電子期刊使用紀錄分析之評鑑研究。 / Due to the fast growth of electronic resources, it has become a trend for university libraries to acquire such resources to meet the research needs for their users. The expenditures libraries have to spend for electronic resources, especially that for electronic journals have been raised at average rate of 7% to 10% each year. However, the yearly budget for libraries never has been increased as much. It thus has become important for libraries to identify the real usage of and institutional research outcomes from the acquired electronic journals. The assessment of networked information service and resources quality of it is useful for acquisition decision-making. If there is a positive assessment result, then it will also provide justification for seeking budget support. The purpose of this study is to conduct an empirical study so as to enable formulating an assessment model for electronic journals a library has subscribed. The author firstly explores the theories and researches for the application of E-Metrics as assessment model for electronic journals. Taking the ARL E-Metrics project as a referential model, the author combines literature review, in-depth interview, and E-metrics in the research methodology to do researches about the western-language electronic journals subscribed by the National Taiwan University Library. This study has resulted in very useful assessment statistics for electronic journals. From analyzing the data collected from interviews and the related empirical study, the author is able to verify the purpose of assessment for electronic journals under collection development policy, to formulate procedures and methodology for the assessment of electronic journal resource and, the services based on it, to find out necessary components for E-Metrics assessment model for university libraries which comprises of fourteen indicators of four major criteria of (1) e-journal resources (2) its usage (3) its cost and (4) performance from it. The author concludes that the E-Metrics model is good for university libraries to assess their acquired electronic journals. Based on the findings of this study, the author recommends qualitative research to be the more adequate approach for the assessment of electronic journals and proposed the following four areas for future research: (1) investigation of Internet resources and assessment model for electronic journals under the library’s service policy (2) development of statistics and management tools for the subscribed electronic journals (3) cost study of electronic journals from economics point of view (4) analytical study of access logs of electronic journals.

大學圖書館電子資源服務品質評鑑:以國立政治大學為例 / Service Quality Evaluation of Electronic Resources at University Libraries:A Case Study of National Chengchi University

電子資源館藏與服務在目前的大學圖書館佔有重要地位,大量且廣泛使用的對象為教師與研究生。雖然電子資源受到使用者的喜愛,但是也帶來許多複雜問題,因此,有必要從使用者的角度針對大學圖書館電子資源進行服務品質評鑑研究,有助於圖書館管理者未來發展出更符合使用者期待的電子資源服務。本研究之研究目的包含以下幾點:(1)探討大學教師與研究生對於圖書館電子資源服務的認知、重要性及使用現況;(2)探討電子資源服務品質評鑑意涵及可評鑑項目;(3)建構電子資源服務品質評鑑指標與測量工具;(4)實施電子資源服務品質評鑑以改善其服務品質,進而提供最佳電子資源服務。 本研究透過焦點團體法具體建構出大學圖書館電子資源服務品質評鑑指標,共包含三個構面與28項指標,訪談結果亦作為發展問卷之基礎。為確保指標的可行性,研究者實際發放問卷予政治大學的教師與研究生,獲得以下結論:(1)網路使用時間會影響使用者使用圖書館電子資源的頻率;(2)使用者使用圖書館中文資料庫的使用率明顯高於西文資料庫;(3)使用者使用圖書館資料庫的主要目的為「學術研究」與「課業學習」;(4)「圖書館電子資源指南」與「圖書館學術資源探索系統」為使用者查找圖書館電子資源的主要管道;(5)使用者的圖書館資料庫檢索方式以「基本檢索」與「進階檢索」為主;(6)使用者偏好將電子期刊或電子書列印紙本閱讀;(7)使用者肯定圖書館電子資源對於「完成論文計畫書/論文」、「完成作業/報告」、「提升學術研究效益」的價值;(8)沒有圖書館資料庫推廣活動參與經驗的使用者高達六成;(9)使用者認為圖書館最重要的電子資源服務為電子資源的全文提供與權威性;(10)使用者認為圖書館最滿意的電子資源服務為電子資源的權威性;(11)使用者認為圖書館最不重要的電子資源服務為館員回應線上諮詢服務的速度、館員對於使用者電子資源需求的掌握;(12)使用者認為圖書館最需要改進的電子資源服務為電子資源的全文提供、電子資源網站取得全文的易用性;(13)整體滿意度尚待提升,政大圖書館應著重電子資源館藏的提供。 針對所獲得的研究結果,本研究提出幾點建議:(1)圖書館應深入了解教師及研究生的需求,充實電子資源館藏的數量與品質;(2)在電子資源網站上放置清楚的圖示或連結、提供完整的資料庫說明;(3)圖書館與資料庫廠商應定期舉辦使用者滿意度調查;(4)配合課程提供教師相關的資料庫清單與資料庫講習訊息、提前於暑假期間針對碩一生開設電子資源基本搜尋課程。 / Electronic resources collections and services occupy an important position in current university libraries, a large number of teachers and graduate students use them widely. Although electronic resources are popular with users, they also bring a lot of complex issues. Therefore, it is necessary to use point of views of users to conduct service quality evaluation for electronic resources in university libraries. It can help library managers to develop electronic resources services more in line with user expectations in the future. This research has four purposes: (1) to investigate the cognitive, the importance and current use of library electronic resources services for teachers and graduate students ; (2) to explore implications and availability of electronic resources service quality evaluation; (3) to construct indicators and measurement tools of electronic resources service quality evaluation; (4) to implement electronic resources service quality evaluation to improve service quality, then providing the better electronic resources services. This paper had formed focus groups to construct electronic resources service quality evaluation structure which is including three dimensions and 28 indicators. Interview results also use as a basis for the development of questionnaires. In order to ensure the feasibility of indicators, questionnaires have been collected from teachers and graduate students of National Chengchi University, and obtained the following conclusions: (1) Internet usage will influence the use frequency of library electronic resources; (2) the usage of Chinese databases significantly higher than the Western languages databases; (3) the main purpose of the library users to use databases are “academic research” and “learning”; (4) “E-Resource Gateway” and “Discovery Services System” are main channels of users to find the library electronic resources; (5) “Basic Search” and “Advanced Search” are main retrieval methods of library databases of users; (6) users prefer print out electronic journals or e-books to read; (7) users affirm Library electronic resources are good for the value of “complete proposal and thesis”, “finish homework and report”, and “enhance effectiveness of academic research”; (8) users who did not participate in promotional activities of library databases up to 60%; (9) users consider the most important electronic resources services are full text and authority of electronic resources; (10) users consider the most satisfying electronic resource services is authority of electronic resources; (11) users consider the least important electronic resources services are response speed of online consulting services of librarians and grasping of user requirements of electronic resources of librarians; (12 ) users consider provide full-text of electronic resources and the usability to get the full-text in electronic resource websites are electronic resources services that most need to improve; (13) overall satisfaction has yet to improve, National Chengchi University Library should focus on providing electronic resources collections. According to the research results, this paper also proposed several suggestions: (1) the library should understand the needs of teachers and graduate students, and enrich the quantity and quality of electronic resources collections; (2) the library should place a clear icon or link in electronic resource websites, to provide complete descriptions of databases; (3) the library and database vendors should conduct user satisfaction surveys regularly; (4) the library should provide teachers with related databases lists and databases workshops messages, and offer basic search courses of electronic resources during summer vacation for freshmen in master’s program.

電子資源共享圖書館聯盟策略規劃之研究

1990年代學術圖書館面對內部與外部環境的競爭壓力與革新趨勢,圖書館聯盟的觀念與需求又再度受重視。本研究主要以1990年代興起且以電子資源共享為合作主軸的圖書館聯盟組織為研究範圍。採用個案研究法,選擇美國OhioLINK聯盟、大陸地區CALIS聯盟及國內CONCERT聯盟作為個案研究對象。 本研究目的旨在探討1990年代電子資源共享圖書館聯盟的營運特質、合作服務議題、營運策略規劃及營運模式。主要研究結果與貢獻:提出1990年代新興電子資源共享圖書館聯盟之策略規劃模式及營運模式架構,可作為圖書館聯盟實務營運規劃時之參考。電子資源共享圖書館聯盟營運模式包含三大營運構面、20項構面要件,以及14項合作服務項目及11項行動策略項目。 1.營運構面,包括:組織背景與資源、組織活動與成果,以及組織策略與管理等三大構面; 2.構面要件,包括:緣起背景與合作動機、聯盟會員、組織結構、組織資源、組織經費、技術與資訊基礎建設、服務對象與層級、合作服務項目、活動成果、外部環境評估與內部組織檢測、需求評鑑、共同願景、使命宣言、核心價值、任務目標、行動方案、領導管理、核心議題管理、組織變革,以及組織評鑑等20項; 3.合作服務項目,包括:資訊資源硬體/軟體合作開發及標準化發展、合作採購、合作館藏發展、合作典藏與管理、聯合合作編目、聯合目錄、館際互借、文獻傳遞、線上合作參考諮詢服務、教育訓練、技術支援、諮詢與顧問指導、數位化圖書館服務與管理,以及遠距學習與服務等14項; 4.行動策略項目,包括:強調關鍵技術或能力之轉移、強調資源有效分配、擴大資訊取用途徑、共同談判與合作協議、重視使用權處理與合約管理、強調市場合作策略、強調對內與對外夥伴關係之建立、重視行銷推廣、凝聚會員共識與組織承諾、擁有高度管理統籌權,以及強調成本效益分析等11項。 本研究建議:一為建議政府相關部會建立全國電子資源共享之總資源規劃與分配策略,以有效整合聯盟資源並進行整體化建設。同時,建立全國圖書館聯盟管理中心、編列專款預算科目、健全圖書館聯盟組織結構與功能發展以提昇聯盟營運效能;二為建議國內學術圖書館聯盟擴大資源共享合作服務範圍與夥伴關係經營範疇,以創造聯盟組織最大經濟效益。同時,重視領導管理與決策品質,並且建立組織營運績效衡量機制;三則呼籲凝聚聯盟會員的共識與團隊力,共同建立聯盟組織的自主性與自發性營運功能,將有限資源發揮最大效益。 / In the 1990s, academic libraries were faced with pressure to compete and a tendency towards renovation. The concept and demands of library consortium once again received serious attention. This study’s research scope is the rise and development of electronic resources sharing for cooperation with main library consortium organizations in the 1990s. The method of case study was used, and the United States’ OhioLINK, Mainland China’s CALIS, and the domestic CONCERT were used as the case research subjects. The purpose of this research is to investigate the special characteristics of the operation of electronic resources sharing library consortium during the 1990s and their cooperative service issues, strategic planning, and modes of operation. The primary research results and contributions addressed the structure of strategic planning and modes of operation for electronic resources sharing library consortium in the 1990s. This can then be used as a reference for when library consortium does practical service and operations planning. The modes of electronic resources sharing library consortium include: 1.Operational Structure: The three big aspects are background and resources of organizations, activities and achievements, and strategies and management. 2.There are twenty items of important structural documents: origins of backgrounds and motives for cooperation, consortium members, organization’s structure, organization’s resources, organization’s expenses, establishment of information foundations, service targets, cooperative service items, activities and achievements, evaluations of the external environment and examinations of internal organizations, demand reviews, common hopes and expectations, mission declarations, core value, assignment objectives, movement plans, leadership management, management of core issues, organization transformations, and reviews of organizations. 3.The cooperative service items include these 14 items: cooperative development and standardized development of information resource hardware and software, joint purchases, cooperative collection development, cooperative catalogues, union catalogs, interlibrary loans, document delivery, online reference desk services, education and training, technical support, advice and consulting guidance, digital library services and management, and distance learning and services. 4.The 11 items of movement strategy include: emphasizing the transfer of key technologies and abilities, emphasizing effective resource distribution, expanding access to resources, joint licensing and joint agreements, placing importance on using power to cope and contractual management, emphasizing market cooperation strategies, emphasizing the establishment of internal and external companion relationships, placing importance on popularizing sales, cohering to the members’ common consensus and organization agreements, possessing high level management powers for overall planning, and emphasizing cost-benefit analysis. This study recommends: 1.) In order to establish head resource planning and distribution strategies for nation-wide electronic resource sharing, establish nation-wide library consortium management centers, line up funding, and make sturdy library consortium organizational structures and capabilities. 2.) In order to make recommendations for the cooperative service scope and companion relationship operation categories of CONCERT expanded resource sharing, place importance upon leadership management and the quality of policy making. In addition, establish a measurement system for organization operation results. 3.) Appeal for the coherence to the common consensus of consortium members. Collectively establish the operational capability of consortium organizations to be autonomous and spontaneous to bring limited resources into full play with the greatest possible results.

電子資源館藏使用與滿意度研究-以臺北市立圖書館大直分館讀者為例 / Electronic resources collection use and satisfaction : Taipei Public Library Dazhi Branch readers case study

隨著網際網路與電子資源蓬勃發展,智慧型手機與平板電腦等行動裝 置越來越普及,民眾對於公共圖書館的電子資源館藏接受度較過去幾年雖 有小幅提升,但多數民眾仍未曾使用過電子資源。本研究透過文獻分析法 設計公共圖書館電子資源館藏使用與滿意度問卷共 4 個構面 25 項指標,採用訪談法和問卷調查法以臺北市立圖書館大直分館讀者為研究調查對象,就其電子資源館藏使用和滿意度進行瞭解。 本研究的研究目的有三點:(一) 探討大直圖書館分館讀者對於電子資 源館藏的使用情形與電子資源服務滿意度。(二) 探討影響大直圖書館分館讀者對於電子資源館藏使用與電子資源服務滿意度的因素。(三) 探討大直圖書館分館讀者對於電子資源館藏認為有改善空間的項目,以及謀求改進的方法與策略。 本研究獲得以下結論:(一) 使用者對本館提供之電子資源館藏相關內 容與服務之重視度與滿意度有顯著差距(二) 使用者認為,在電子資源館藏容易查詢檢索以及使用的空間配備是否支援電子資源館藏使用是圖書館應改善的部分。(三) 研究發現不同個人背景變項例如:性別、年齡、教育程度對滿意度有不同的認知與感受,因此應針對使用者的差異處加以瞭解,關心使用者的看法與態度,讓使用者重視度與滿意度的差距能縮小。根據所獲得的研究結果,本研究提出幾點建議,提供質量足夠且多元種類的電子資源館藏供使用者取用;加強行動資訊服務軟硬體支援;加強數位閱覽環境空間規劃;持續進行電子資源館藏推廣活動;保持電子資源館藏使用與滿意度長期調查機制,以瞭解需求強化服務。 / With the advance of the Internet as well as the mobile devices, electronic resources has become more and more popular. The acceptance rate of readers for electronic resource archive might be increased in recent years yet there are still many readers have never used such service in public library. It is crucial to understand the use and need among users to offer electronic resource services in public library more adequately. Research methods in the study includes literature review, interview, and questionnaire survey. A four-dimension, 25-item questionnaire was generated from the review of relevant studies to assessing the electronic resources use and satisfaction of library users. The article aims to explore the use of electronic resources archive and user satisfaction by readers in Taipei Public Library, Dazhi Branch. There are three purposes in this research: a) Exploring the use of electronic resources archive and user satisfaction of the readers in Taipei Public Library, Dazhi Branch; b) identifying factors affecting the using and user satisfaction of readers in Taipei Public Library, Dazhi Branch; c) summarizing the feedbacks from respondents in the study to propose the strategies for improvement on electronic resources archive. The results suggest: a) there are significant differences between the perceived service importance and satisfaction of readers at Taipei Public Library, Dazhi Branch; b) participants care about whether the electronic resource archive is easy for inquiry and supporting space arrangement; c) participants from different gender, age and education levels show significant distinctions between the satisfaction of readers at Taipei Public Library, Dazhi Branch. Therefore the library should take considerations for the differences among users to further the understanding of their concerns. Suggestions were proposed in accordance with the findings of this study. The author believes, library may a) make sufficient and diversified variety of electronic resources archive more available for users; b) improve both soft and hardware supports for mobile information services; c) provide a friendlier digital reading space; d) further promote the electronic resource archive; e) continue investigating the use and satisfaction of electronic resource archive to understand the need for enhanced services.
