The Arizona Child Acoustic Database consists of longitudinal audio recordings from a group of children over a critical period of growth and development (ages 2-7 years). The goal of this database is to 1) document acoustic changes in speech production that may be related to physical growth 2) inform development of a model of speech production for child talkers. This work was funded by NSF BSC-1145011 awarded to Kate Bunton, Ph.D. and Brad Story, Ph.D, Principal Investigators.

Since children began the study at different ages, some children have fewer recording sessions than others. The database can also be used to provide cross-sectional data for children of a specific age. In addition, the protocol includes several nonsense vowel-to-vowel transitions. Speakers were prompted either verbally by investigators or by graphical prompts. This diploma thesis deals with the development of the rhythmic feeling of children aged 5-7 years in connection with the music element of The Good Start Method. The aim of the diploma thesis is to present the issue of connecting psychology and music for the use in pedagogy, with emphasis on The Good Start Method. Using my own research, i evaluate its theoretical basis, practical use and point out its problematic parts and try to find a possible improvement of this method. The theoretical part deals with the description of the use of the rhythmic element of music in accordance with the development of children's motor skills and the related development of their rhythmic feelings. It also focuses on a specific methodological approach to the development of musical abilities and related motor and graphomotor skills. The work is explicitly focused on the Czech version of The Good Start Method. This section focuses on the description and objectives of this method and it also presents its pitfalls, which are further mentioned and discussed in the empirical part of the work. In the practical part i present the realized empirical research, which focuses on one lesson of the Czech version of The Good Start Method with a song called Náchodský zámeček. Akut barnanestesi är en komplex situation som kan sätta anestesisjuksköterskans kompetens på sin spets då denne på kort tid behöver skapa ett förtroende hos både barnet och föräldrarna, ha koll på den åldersspecifika fysiologin, ständigt planera framåt och ha en handlingsberedskap ifall komplikationer skulle tillstöta. Studiens syfte var att beskriva anestesisjuksköterskors upplevelser i det perioperativa omvårdnadsarbete med det akut sjuka barnet. Tio semistrukturerade intervjuer genomfördes som därefter analyserades med en manifest kvalitativ innehållsanalys på induktiv nivå vilket genererade fyra kategorier: “Söva barn kan vara en anspänning men förberedelserna är lika”, “Lika men olika omvårdnad utifrån barn och föräldrar”, “Erfarenhet, tid och handlingsberedskap skapar trygghet” och “Utveckla omhändertagandet med simuleringsövningar, mängdträning och samarbete”. Resultatet visade inga större skillnader i förberedelserna mellan det elektiva och akuta omhändertagandet av barn. Däremot framkom skillnader avseende vikten av att bemöta och anpassa arbetet utefter barnet och familjen. Att ge sig själv tid eller att få tid trots akuta situationer och ha en handlingsberedskap påverkade den självupplevda tryggheten hos anestesisjuksköterskorna. För att kunna utveckla vården i det akuta omhändertagande av barnet och föräldrarna, krävs det mer övning och teamarbete med tydliga roller.

В ходе исследования было выявлено, что для успешной подготовки детей старшего дошкольного возраста к сдаче норм ГТО 7 1 ступени можно использовать различные технологии (игровую, онлайн, технологию развития предпосылок универсальных учебных действий). При этом наиболее эффективной для развития большинства физических качеств является технология развития предпосылок универсальных учебных действий. / The dissertation research is devoted to identifying the most effective organizational and methodological conditions for preparing children 6-7 years old to pass the TRP standards of the 1st stage. In the course of the study, it was revealed that various technologies (gaming, online, technology for the development of prerequisites for universal educational actions) can be used for the successful preparation of older preschool children for passing the standards of the TRP 7 of the 1st stage. At the same time, the most effective technology for the development of most physical qualities is the technology for the development of prerequisites for universal educational activities.
