Through this analysis we could have the conception of this course and it was integrated by the current brazilian society. It is represented by the region of ABC paulista and questions about social, economic and cultural conditions of these students besides the analysis of the accomplished interview with students, professors and current works. Summing up it was possible to identify the ingress and egress profile of the students since all the possible mechanisms are indicated for this formation.(AU) / Esta dissertação trata das percepções dos alunos, dos professores e do mercado de trabalho sobre os cursos superiores de tecnologia na região do grande ABC paulista, com a indicação histórica desta formação profissional. Através da análise de fatos que levaram à concepção desta modalidade de ensino e de como ela se integrou na sociedade brasileira atual, representada pela região do grande ABC paulista e do questionamento sócio, cultural e econômico de alunos que estão matriculados em uma instituição de ensino nela situada, bem como a análise das entrevistas realizadas com discentes, docentes e representantes do mercado de trabalho foi possível estabelecer o perfil de ingresso e de egresso destes alunos, uma vez que estão indicados todos os mecanismos possíveis para o percurso estabelecido por esta formação.(AU)

Esta dissertação tem o objetivo de analisar a implementação do feriado municipal de 20 de novembro, denominado Dia Nacional da Consciência Negra em homenagem ao Herói Nacional Zumbi dos Palmares. A simbologia histórica do Quilombo dos Palmares traz a problemática da subalternidade imposta às populações negras em África e na diáspora atlântica. O trabalho discute através das contribuições das Ciências Humanas, a integração social da população negra brasileira. Os movimentos sociais negros são discutidos à luz das teorias dos chamados novos movimentos sociais. Uma pesquisa documental analisa as legislações que implementaram o feriado 20 de Novembro no ABC Paulista. Posteriormente, uma pesquisa empírica com ativistas anti-racistas da região retrata o contexto político e a movimentação dos atores sociais favoráveis e contrários ao feriado. / This thesis aims to analyze the implementation of the municipal holiday of November 20, called the National Black Consciousness Day in honor of the National Hero Zumbi dos Palmares. The historical symbolism of the Quilombo dos Palmares brings the issue of subordination imposed on black populations in Africa and the Atlantic Diaspora. The paper discusses through contributions of the humanities, the social integration of black people. The black social movements are discussed in light of theories of so-called \"new\" social movements. Documentary research examines the laws that implemented the holiday November 20 on ABC Paulista. Subsequently, an empirical survey of anti-racist activists in the region reflects the political context and the movement of favorable and contrary to the holiday social actors.

O presente estudo compreende a relação entre a Tecelagem Tognato e as transformações do bairro Baeta Neves. Para tanto abordamos a história da industrialização brasileira, paulista e do ABC, especialmente o segmento têxtil. A indústria do ABC, obedece a dinâmica nacional, sua origem com as indústrias têxteis no século XIX, desenvolvimento no século XX com a implantação das indústrias de bens de produção e no final do século a reestruturação industrial marcada pela transformação do modo de produção fordista para o modelo flexível, que implicou em mudanças na dinâmica interna e externa as fábricas. A Tognato, esta inserida dentro dessas transformações observadas ao longo do século XX. Estudá-la, nos possibilitou compreender como as novas dinâmicas produtivas relacionam-se com a sociedade promovendo mudanças na região do ABC, especialmente em São Bernardo. / This stydy includes the relationship between the weaving and the transformation of the Tognato neighborhood Baeta Neves. For this we approached the history of Brazilian industry, in São Paulo State and the ABC metropolitan area, with especially focus, the textile segment. The industry ABC follow the dynamic national origin in the textile industries in the nineteenth century, development in the twentieth century with the establishment of industries and production assets in the late industrial restructuring marked the transformation using the Fords mode of production to the flexible model, which resulted in change in the dynamic internal and external of the factories. The Tognato textile industry it is inserted within these transformation observed during the twentieth century. Study it, give us the potencial to understand how the new dynamics of production relate to the society and promoted changes in the ABC metropolitan area, especially in São Bernardo do Campo.

The union has gone on to support the cooperatives, and is focusing on companies in crisis and bankruptcy. Once these cooperatives are established, labor is no longer salaried, and once they have become members of a cooperative, workers find themselves in an ambiguous category somewhere between workers and owners. By supporting the cooperative workers, the union develops the attitude that it no is no longer limited to representing salaried workers, broadening its sphere of activity. In order to understand the uncertainties and contradictions of the worker cooperatives and union action, two experiences were analyzed: firstly, metalworkers from a company that s going bankruptcy, which has been negotiating for the payment of their salaries and labor rights in court; in this case the proposed metalworkers cooperative was never realized. Secondly, a cooperative already established that has been functioning for more than five years. The undertaking began with the help of the union after the business went into bankruptcy. With the legal and administrative help of the union, the workers were able to organize in order to revive the business through a regime of self-management. In both cases the option of the workers and the unions forming of a cooperative is discussed, outlining the particularities and paradoxes presented by this option. / Esta dissertação tem por objetivo principal analisar a incorporação de cooperativas de produção industrial pelo Sindicato dos Metalúrgicos do ABC, a partir da década de 1990, como forma de atenuação do desemprego. O sindicato passou a apoiar o cooperativismo, focando-se em empresas em crise e em estado falimentar. Ao aderirem às cooperativas, os trabalhadores deixam a condição de assalariados e passam a ser cooperados, situação dúbia entre a condição operária e a de proprietários. Ao apoiar os cooperados, o sindicato avançou no sentido de não mais se limitar a representar apenas àqueles que eram assalariados, ampliando sua área de atuação. Para entender as dubiedades e contradições da condição dos cooperados e da atuação sindical, foram analisadas duas experiências: a primeira, de funcionários de uma metalúrgica em estado falimentar que estão há mais de dois anos negociando judicialmente o pagamento de seus salários e direitos trabalhistas. Neste caso, a proposta de cooperativa feita pelo sindicato não se efetivou. A segunda, uma cooperativa já estabelecida e que funciona há mais de cinco anos. O empreendimento surgiu com o apoio do sindicato após a empresa ter entrado em processo de falência. Com o auxílio jurídico e administrativo do sindicato, os trabalhadores conseguiram se organizar para reerguer a empresa sob o regime de autogestão. Em ambas discute-se a opção de formação da cooperativa pelos trabalhadores e pelos sindicatos, destacando-se os paradoxos e especificidades presentes nessa opção.

Besides the related questions about the Salons, this PhD thesis relates to a proposal for renewal of the event as a regional culture promoter, also appraise the perspective of national importance colaborating with Brazil culture. In discussing the Contemporary Art Salons event from ABC in São Paulo, there is also the curator function as a new figure of importance in the event of relationship with the people and history. About the curator profession, this thesis defends the permanency of this relation between the knowledge production for future generations and the transmission of methods to build a network with this Salons and their collections. Add to this thesis, there is a social media discussion about their function in the contente prodution and propagation to the Salons actions, as well as profusion of culture and visual arts. / Esta pesquisa trata sobre os aspectos do entorno dos Salões de Arte Contemporânea do ABC Paulista, bem como as urgências no gerenciamento dos eventos, a sua necessidade de permanência, e a discussão dos acervos resultantes dos Prêmios Aquisição. Além de pensar questões relacionadas sobre os Salões, esta tese de doutorado se relaciona como uma proposta de renovação do evento enquanto promotor de cultura regional, e por ser de caráter nacionalizante e permitir que os acervos sejam depositários de obras de arte preciosas para a história, também aferem uma perspectiva de importância nacional. Na discussão sobre os Salões de Arte Contemporânea do ABC Paulista, há também a discussão do curador como figura importante na relação do evento com as pessoas e a história. Sobre o ofício de curador, permanece na tese a defesa de sua união com a relação intrínseca do ensino-aprendizado para as novas gerações e a transmissão de métodos para que se construa uma rede de relacionamento entre os Salões de arte e seus acervos. Nesta tese, há a discussão das mídias sociais enquanto produção de conhecimento e amplitude para as ações dos Salões, também como profusoras de cultura e das artes visuais.

Paradoxically, configures, socially and geographically speaking, for a region of urban periphery. Fashion result as urbanization, in modern society, conforms the space in central and peripheral regions. Located on the road linking Santos to Mogi das Cruzes (XIX century) - village of Geribatiba - resulting from urban transformations occurred throughout the region, conquer, in the 1960s, its political and administrative autonomy. In the following decades witnessed intense population growth, a result of the migration process, mainly from Minas Gerais state and Northeast region of the country, which had the cities and industries of São Paulo and Greater ABC as a destination. This displacement of people, and networks formed in his around, contributed to the development of his religious field. Currently, with a population around of 46 000 inhabitants, has approximately 180 locations in religious ceremonies. In this context, the thesis analyzes the regiona integration - social, economic and religious - of Rio Grande da Serra, from comparative data with other municipalities, and discusses how the regionalism has contributed to its economic development. Performs characterization of urban peripheries, discussing aspects attached to them, such as segregation and social vulnerability. In this sense, the research enabled the identification of the socioeconomic profile (income and education) of participants of religious groups (Catholics, Evangelicals, Kardecists and followers of Umbanda), allowing also identify social inequalities within its territory, noting that certain neighborhoods are more vulnerable than others. Whereas this study examines the ability of social and religious networks, to increase the share capital of its participants, was conducted mapping and ethnography of the various associative practices, more or less formal and structured, to analyze the material and symbolic elements produced. It was found, based on the questionnaires, interviews and participant observation, that, from the religious habitus of each group, the networks allow under economic issues such as employment and income or assistance in basic survival needs through campaigns and social work. In the symbolic context, networks provide important questions of human existence, such as the belief in salvation or soul evolution, socialization, self-esteem, prestige or the expectation of cure or treatment of chemical dependency. It was possible to ascertain that, despite the different ways in each group, and its participants, appropriate the social capital, social and religious networks in the city, function as safety nets, especially in high population situation of social vulnerability. / O município de Rio Grande da Serra está situado em uma região Grande ABC paulista reconhecida nacionalmente por seu desenvolvimento econômico e industrial e pelas lutas políticas e sindicais. Paradoxalmente, se configura, social e territorialmente falando, por uma região de periferia urbana. Resultado da forma como a urbanização, na sociedade moderna, conforma o espaço em regiões centrais e periféricas. Localizado no caminho que ligava Santos à Mogi das Cruzes (século XIX) povoado de Geribatiba decorrente das transformações urbanas ocorridas em toda a região, conquistaria, nos anos 1960, sua autonomia político-administrativa. Nas décadas seguintes testemunhou intenso crescimento populacional, resultado do processo migratório, principalmente de mineiros e nordestinos que tinham as cidades, e indústrias, de São Paulo e Grande ABC como destino. Esse deslocamento de pessoas, e as redes formadas em seu em torno, contribuiu para o desenvolvimento de seu campo religioso. Atualmente, com uma população, em torno, de 46 mil habitantes, possui aproximadamente 180 locais de cerimônias religiosas. Nesse contexto, a tese analisa a inserção regional socioeconômica e religiosa de Rio Grande da Serra, a partir de dados comparativos com os demais municípios, e discute como o regionalismo tem contribuído para seu desenvolvimento econômico. Realiza a caracterização das periferias urbanas, discutindo aspectos que lhes são inerentes, como segregação e vulnerabilidade social. Nesse sentido, a investigação possibilitou a identificação do perfil socioeconômico (renda e escolaridade) dos participantes dos grupos religiosos (católicos, evangélicos, kardecistas e umbandistas), permitindo, também, identificar desigualdades sociais no interior de seu território, constatando que determinados bairros são mais vulneráveis do que outros. Considerando que esse estudo examina a capacidade das redes sociais e religiosas, de aumentar o capital social de seus participantes, foi realizado o mapeamento e etnografia das diversas práticas associativas, mais ou menos formais e estruturadas, de forma a analisar os elementos materiais e simbólicos por elas produzidos. Constatou-se, apoiado na aplicação de questionários, entrevistas e observação participativa, que, a partir do habitus religioso de cada grupo, as redes possibilitam no âmbito econômico questões como emprego e renda ou auxílio em necessidades básicas de sobrevivência, através de campanhas e trabalhos sociais. No âmbito simbólico, as redes propiciam questões importantes à existência humana, como a crença na salvação ou evolução da alma, socialização, autoestima, prestígio ou ainda a expectativa de cura ou tratamento de dependência química. Pôde-se aferir que, a despeito das diferentes formas como cada grupo, e seus participantes, se apropriam do capital social, as redes sociais e religiosas, no município, funcionam como redes de proteção, especialmente à população em situação alta de vulnerabilidade social.

A região do Grande ABC paulista, formada por sete municípios - Santo André, São Bernardo do Campo, São Caetano do Sul, Diadema, Mauá, Ribeirão Pires e Rio Grande da Serra -, tem uma importância considerável no contexto sócio-políticoeconômico- cultural do Brasil. Dentre outras características, percebe-se a grande mobilidade da população, fazendo crer que, atualmente, na região do Grande ABC, há poucos usuários que falam a norma da região. Por isso, faz-se necessário resgatar, o mais rápido possível, a variação semântico-lexical da língua falada no Grande ABC, como forma de se registrar a memória lingüística da comunidade dessa região. A presente tese busca registrar parte desse cabedal lingüístico e tem por objetivo geral descrever a norma semântico-lexical da região do Grande ABC paulista, com vistas ao Atlas Semântico-Lexical da Região do Grande ABC. Com base nos postulados da Geolingüística contemporânea, aplicou-se o Questionário Semântico-Lexical do Projeto ALiB, versão 2001, em nove pontos da região a 36 sujeitos subdivididos em duas faixas etárias - 18 a 30 e 50 a 65 anos de idade - e nos dois gêneros - feminino e masculino. Com as respostas obtidas nas entrevistas, elaborou-se um banco de dados semântico-lexical, disponível em CD-ROM, e, posteriormente, foram os dados tratados e documentados cartograficamente, a fim de que se pudesse elaborar o quadro da diversidade semântico-lexical do falar da região do Grande ABC. Além do referencial teórico-metodológico da Geolingüística e da Lexicologia, a partir de obras de Pottier e Barbosa, utilizou-se a abordagem de Norma efetuada por Coseriu, e complementou-se com noções de Estatística Lexical, propostas por Muller, sobretudo as referentes a freqüência. Ao final, chegou-se a um conjunto de 202 cartogramas lingüísticos, que não apenas revelam a norma semântico-lexical do Grande ABC, como também constituem um retrato, ainda que parcial, do falar paulista. / Located in the state of São Paulo, the region known as the Great ABC paulista is comprised of seven cities: Santo André, São Bernardo do Campo, São Caetano do Sul, Diadema, Mauá, Ribeirão Pires and Rio Grande da Serra. This region has considerable importance in the sociopolitical and economic-cultural contexts in Brazil. Among a number of characteristics, is possible to think that the great populational mobility in this region make possible to believe that, nowadays, there are few users of the linguistic norm of the region. That is the reason why it is necessary to rescue the semantic-lexical variation of the language spoken in the Great ABC area, as a way of registering this community\'s linguistic memory. This work attempts to register part of this linguistic ensemble and its general objective is the description of the semantic-lexical norm of the Great ABC paulista region, in order to build the Semantic- Lexical Atlas of the Great ABC region. Based on the postulates of contemporary Geolinguistics, we have applied the Semantic-Lexical Questionnaire of the AliB Project, version 2001, in nine points of the region, on 36 subjects belonging to both genders - female and male - and subdivided in two age groups - people aged between 18 and 30, and between 50 and 65. The answers obtained during the interviews were the basis for the elaboration of a semantic-lexical database, available on CD-ROM. Afterwards, these data were cartographically treated and documented, so that it would be possible to have a panorama of the semantic-lexical diversity of the Great ABC region\'s speech. Besides the Geolinguistics and Lexicology theoretical and methodological references, such as works by Pottier and Barbosa, we have used the normative approach elaborated by Coseriu, and the notions of Lexical Statistics, proposed by Muller, mainly those concerning with frequency. At last, we have made 202 linguistic cartograms, which not only reveal the semantic-lexical norm of the Great ABC region, but also constitute a portrait, although partial, of the oral speech of the state of São Paulo.

Besides the Geolinguistics and Lexicology theoretical and methodological references, such as works by Pottier and Barbosa, we have used the normative approach elaborated by Coseriu, and the notions of Lexical Statistics, proposed by Muller, mainly those concerning with frequency. At last, we have made 202 linguistic cartograms, which not only reveal the semantic-lexical norm of the Great ABC region, but also constitute a portrait, although partial, of the oral speech of the state of São Paulo.
