O processo inventivo dos 25 solfejos de Muzico e moderno systema para solfejar de Luís Álvares Pinto e de 34 peças selecionados do calendário do som de Hermeto Pascoal - aproximações estético-poéticas e questões editoriais / -

Nossa tese contempla a abordagem de dois problemas inter-relacionados: 1) pensar sobre as analogias poéticas nos procedimentos composicionais entre dois ciclos de obras de autores de épocas distintas, Luís Álvares Pinto e Hermeto Pascoal; 2) realizar uma edição crítica destas pequenas peças musicais com seus acompanhamentos harmônicos realizados enquanto intervenções inventivas, viabilizando o acesso às obras por parte de um número maior de intérpretes-executores através da resolução dos elementos em aberto, uma vez que, no caso de Luís Álvares Pinto, há duetos que pressupõem trios e, no caso de Hermeto Pascoal, há uma voz solista que pressupõe duetos. Primeiramente, trabalhamos as questões confluentes e os elementos composicionais análogos que surgem quando aproximamos: 1) os 25 solfejos a duas vozes de Luís Álvares Pinto, parte final de seu tratado didático Muzico e Moderno Systema para Solfejar, de 1776; 2) 34 lead sheets selecionadas do Calendário do som, um manuscrito de 366 peças compostas por Hermeto Pascoal, entre 23 de junho de 1996 e 23 de junho de 1997, uma obra que contempla a composição de uma peça por dia ao longo de um ano. Visamos, assim, indagar sobre os procedimentos composicionais que transcendem realidades historicamente diferenciadas. Segundo, confeccionamos uma edição crítica das partituras de ambos os ciclos de obras destes dois compositores nordestinos e reconhecidos como músicos referenciais por seus pares em suas épocas, com a realização das harmonias. Outro objetivo importante é a aplicabilidade prática da tese: disponibilizar aos músicos intérpretes-executores interessados de dentro e fora da academia as partituras destas obras por nós editadas, viabilizando suas performances. Entendemos que esta última etapa de nossa tese representa um resultado efetivo e significativo de nossa pesquisa, cumprindo assim o papel acadêmico - ao lado do ensino e da pesquisa - de estender os resultados dos conhecimentos produzidos na universidade à comunidade na forma de prestação de serviços. O trabalho está inserido na linha de pesquisa: Música Brasileira: história, interpretação-execução, processos composicionais e editoriais do Grupo de Pesquisa do CNPq: Poíesis, Práxis e Theoria em Música, sob coordenação do nosso orientador. / Our thesis approaches two interrelated issues: 1) we discuss poetic analogies in compositional procedures that appear in two cycles of compositions by two different authors of distinct periods, Luís Álvares Pinto and Hermeto Pascoal; 2) We prepare a critical edition of these pieces with their harmonic accompaniment worked out in inventive interventions that make them accessible to a larger number of interpreters-performers. First, we work with confluent questions and analogous compositional elements that arise as we approach the 25 solfeggios in two voices by Luís Álvares Pinto and the 34 lead sheets retrieved from the Calendário do som . The 25 solfeggios belong to the final part of the didactic treaty Muzico e Moderno Systema para Solfejar, from 1776. The Calendário do som is a manuscript of 366 pieces composed by Hermeto Pascoal between 23 June 1996 and 23 June 1997, covering the composition of one piece a day along a year. We aim, thus, to inquire about the compositional procedures that transcend different historic realities. Secondly, we prepare a critical edition of the scores of the works that have been researched, and that contain realizations of the open elements. Thus, the practical application of the thesis: to make their performance feasible to a larger range of interested musicians, from within or outside the Academy. We understand that this last part of our thesis represents an effective and meaningful result of our research, playing in this way the academic role - besides teaching and research - of extending the knowledge produced at the university to the community, as a service provision. The work pertains to the research line: Brazilian Music: history, interpretation-performance, compositional and editorial processes of the CNPq Research Group: Poíesis, Práxis and Theoria in Music, coordinated by our supervisor.

O acompanhamento terapêutico e a intervenção em rede como estratégias que visam o fortalecimento da rede social/significativa do usuário do CAPS / The Therapeutical Accompaniment and the Network Intervention as strategies to improve the personal social network of a CAPS user

Realizamos um estudo num CAPSII da cidade de São Paulo. Tratou-se de uma pesquisa participativa, portanto uma pesquisa qualitativa que teve como referencial metodológico o Comunity-Based Participatory Research (CBPR). Tivemos a Reabilitação Psicossocial (RP) como referencial teórico, e tendo em vista a meta de emancipação e contratualização dos usuários do CAPS, realizamos uma pesquisa ação junto a um usuário e sua rede social. Mapeamos a rede social significativa deste usuário através do Mapa de Rede de Sluzki (2006), e iniciamos um trabalho de Acompanhamento Terapêutico (AT) junto ao usuário. Durante o processo compusemos as reuniões de Intervenção em Rede e ao fim construímos um segundo Mapa de Rede no intuito de avaliar se houve mudanças na composição da rede após as intervenções realizadas através desta pesquisa. A rede deste usuário era formada por pessoas do CAPS e de sua família que ao longo do processo apresentaram muitos recursos, era uma rede que inclusive já utilizara o AT e as reuniões de rede como forma de cuidado ao usuário e a própria rede. Vivenciamos nesse período, muitos momentos significativos e identificamos uma série de situações em que usuário e rede eram capazes de produção de sentido em seu cotidiano. Foi possível perceber a partilha de afeto entre o usuário e a rede, e inclusive entre os próprios membros da rede, e ao mesmo tempo havia troca de violência principalmente na relação entre o usuário e sua família. Era uma rede ciente dos preceitos da RP, mas ainda assim, com o agravamento da violência e se avaliava que o usuário estava pondo em risco a vida dele próprio e de seus familiares. A rede se viu impotente para lidar com essa questão e agiu afastando e internando o usuário. Durante o processo pudemos perceber que não somente o usuário, mas a família passara por um processo recente de perda de contratos sociais, especialmente quanto a trabalho e habitação. Ainda que apresente recursos é uma família que passou por um processo de exclusão do sistema de organização social, e o sentimento de impotência parece antes tratar desse processo do que da violência entre eles em si. Se apresenta tentador responsabilizar a família ou o serviço pelo processo vivido, mas parece se tratar de um processo mais complexo em que não se está claro qual é o papel de cada elemento. Através da convivência no serviço percebemos que a universidade e as pesquisas de pós graduação já compõem com o que se tem produzido nos CAPS, nesse sentido, mais do que eleger culpados, isso nos leva a supor ser necessário que nós, enquanto parte do problema, passemos a entender qual o papel que estamos desempenhando no processo, e talvez aí possamos fazer alguma diferença no ciclo que leva a violência, a impotência e a internação de uma pessoa / We conducted a study in a CAPSII at the city of São Paulo. This study is composed by a participatory research, using as a methodological referential the Community- Based Participatory Research (CBPR). The Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PR) was our theoretical referential, and based on the goal of emancipation of CAPS\'s users, we performed an action research with a user and his social network. We mapped the significant social network of this user with the Network Map of Sluzki (2006) and initiated a Therapeutical Accompaniment (TA) with him. During the process we did Network Interventions meetings and in the end we built a second Network Map, to evaluate if it changed after the interventions we performed during this research. This user\'s network was composed by people from CAPS e from his family, which during the process presented many resources, a network that already had used the TA and the network meetings to provide care for the user and for the network itself. We lived, during the entire period, several significant moments and identified that the user and the network were able to produce meaning in his daily life. We could observe the sharing of affection between user and network and also between the members of the network. At the same time an exchange of violence could also be observed, especially between the user and his family. Although the network was aware of the RP\'s precept, with the escalation of violence it was evaluated that the user was putting his and his family\'s life at risk. The network felt powerless to deal with this problem and acted moving away from the user and interning him. During the process we could notice that not the user alone, but the whole family have passed by a recent period of social contract loss, especially regarding work and habitation. Even though his family presents resources, it is a family that passed by a process of exclusion from the social organization system and the powerless feeling seems to be related to this process rather to the violence between them. It is tempting to charge family or the service by the lived process, but it seems a more complex process and the role of each element is not clear. We could notice that university and post-graduation research compose with what have been produced in the CAPS. Hence, more than electing the guilty ones, this lead us to suppose that is necessary that us, as part of the problem, start to understand what is our role in the process, then we perhaps might make any difference in the cycle that leads to violence, impotence and people\'s internment

This task, still, requires effort of the teacher. So, the learner accompaniment in distance teaching-learning environments, obtained through the observation of the learner activities, it presents referring problems to the lack of mechanisms that offer an effective support to the teacher in the orientation for the learner. These existent mechanisms only present results to the teacher without to do any inference, like this, self teacher needs to analyze those results manually in search of subsidies to do a precise orientation, showing the possible causes and addressing the learner for the correct road. However, to dower a mechanism with inference capacity is necessary to capture the knowledge of as the teacher fulfills the leaner accompaniment for, later, to transfer this knowledge for a knowledge base with inference capacity. The necessary knowledge for the teacher to realize the learner accompaniment in a teaching-learning environment is the evaluation criterions that are defined by course pedagogic coordination or teacher of the teaching institution. However, those evaluation criterions are generic and not standardized hindering, therefore, the consent of the same; was realized a theoretical rising for the definition of the evaluation criterions in the NetClass environment. This research generated the knowledge on the development of a model denominated Learner Accompaniment Support Mechanism based on techniques of Artificial Intelligence, which is applied to the NetClass environment of teaching-learning. / Os ambientes de Educação a Distância, atualmente, proporcionam meios de avaliação de o aprendiz. Essa tarefa, de fato, ainda, exige muito esforço e empenho da parte do professor. Portanto, o acompanhamento do aprendiz em ambientes de ensino-aprendizagem a distância, obtida através da observação das atividades dos aprendizes, apresenta problemas referentes à carência de mecanismos que ofereçam um suporte eficaz ao professor na orientação para o aprendiz. Esses mecanismos existentes somente apresentam resultados ao professor sem fazer qualquer inferência, desta maneira, o próprio professor precisa analisar manualmente esses resultados em busca de subsídios para fazer uma orientação precisa, mostrando as possíveis causas e direcionando o aprendiz para o caminho correto. Entretanto, para dotar um mecanismo com capacidade de inferência faz-se necessário capturar o conhecimento de como o professor realiza o acompanhamento do aprendiz para, posteriormente, transferir este conhecimento para uma base de conhecimento com capacidade de inferência. O conhecimento necessário para o professor realizar o acompanhamento do aprendiz em um ambiente de ensino-aprendizagem são os critérios de avaliação que são definidos pela coordenação pedagógica ou professor do curso da instituição de ensino. No entanto, esses critérios de avaliação são genéricos e não padronizadas dificultando, portanto, o consenso do mesmo; foi realizado um levantamento teórico para a definição dos critérios de avaliação no ambiente NetClass. Esta pesquisa gerou o conhecimento sobre o desenvolvimento de um modelo de um mecanismo denominado de Mecanismo de Apoio no Acompanhamento do Aprendiz (MAAA) o qual é aplicado ao ambiente NetClass de ensino-aprendizagem.

Factors influencing clinical teaching of midwifery students in a selected clinical setting in Tanzania

A quantitative, descriptive non-experimental design was used to identify the factors that influence clinical teaching of midwifery students in selected postnatal clinical settings in Tanzania. Structured questionnaires were used to collect data from midwifery tutors/preceptors. The major findings of the study showed that both the professional and educational qualification of tutors was low; tutors and preceptors were overworked due to shortage of staff; the school skills laboratory and postnatal wards lacked equipment and necessary supplies; there were no clinical accompaniment guidelines, and overcrowding of postnatal patients. Recommendations included developing the clinical teaching guidelines, employing more tutors, preceptors and clinical staff; improving the tutors'/ preceptors' educational and professional qualifications and updating the qualifications of ward supervisors and clinical facilitators. / Health Studies / M.A. (Health Studies)

Clinical teaching by registered nurses

The purpose of this quantitative, descriptive study was to describe how registered nurses utilise teachable moments to enhance students' learning in the clinical setting. The research questions were: What are the problems faced by registered nurses when they teach students in the clinical setting? and How do registered nurses utilise teachable moments to teach students? A pilot study was conducted in the clinical setting involving the respondents who had similar characteristics than the population. The sample consisted of 45 registered nurses who provided direct patient care in the clinical setting. A self­ administered, structured questionnaire was used to collect data. Data analysis was done by using descriptive statistical tests. The findings brought to light strengths and weaknesses with regard to the utilisation of teachable moments by registered nurses, and problems faced by registered nurses with regard to clinical accompaniment in general. Recommendations to improve clinical accompaniment by registered nurses through effective utilisation of teachable moments were made. La reconnaissance de l'éthos professionnel en situation d'accompagnement de bénévoles : l'exemple des coordinateurs d'activité en centre social / Recognition of the professional ethos in volunteers' accompaniment situations : the example of coordinators in social centers

La recherche porte sur la reconnaissance de l’éthos professionnel de coordinateurs associatifs placés en situation d'accompagnement de bénévoles. Elle mobilise un cadre théorique qui articule les travaux sur la professionnalité émergente (Jorro, 2011) et l'éthos professionnel (Jorro, 2009 ; 2010) avec la théorie des communautés de pratique (Wenger, 2005). La méthodologie de recherche repose sur des entretiens d'explicitation (Vermersch, 1994) et de décryptage du sens (Faingold, 1998) pour accéder aux valeurs agies qui spécifient l’engagement dans une pratique culturelle (Billett, 2008). Les résultats révèlent l'émergence d'une communauté d'apprentissage salarié/bénévoles qui accompagne la construction de l’éthos professionnel des coordinateurs tout en interrogeant la formalisation de sa reconnaissance (Belair, 2009). Ces résultats de recherche ouvrent des pistes de réflexion susceptibles de contribuer au développement professionnel des acteurs associatifs. / The research focuses on professional ethos recognition of associative coordinators placed in a position of volunteers’ accompaniment. It mobilizes a theoretical framework that articulates work on emergent professionalism (Jorro, 2011) and professional ethos (Jorro, 2009; 2010) with communities of practice theory (Wenger, 2005). The research methodology is based on elicitation interviews (Vermersch 1994) and ‘decryption of meaning interviews’ (Faingold, 1998) to access to ‘acted out values’ ​​that specify commitment in a cultural practice (Billett, 2008). The results reveal an emergent employee/volunteers learning community accompanying professional ethos construction while questioning the formalization of its recognition (Belair, 2009). These research results provide lines of thought that can contribute to the professional development of associative actors.

This thesis is addressing DATA ENVELOPMENT ANALYSIS FOR ASSESSING THE EFFICIENCY OF FAMILY POULTRY AT ALAGOAS, whose main objective was to evaluate the technical efficiency of the farmers included in the Family Poultry Program (PAF) in the municipality of Santana do Ipanema - Alagoas. Poultry was selected due to the heterogeneity of the activities performed within the family farm, which is characterized by its complexity in relation to production and trading, making the sector historically dependent on the welfare policies of the government. Given this context, the main subjects addressed in this work are: PAF family farmers, who received technical-managerial guidance, are effectively differentiated? And how services such as technical assistance and rural extension (Ater) may have influenced this differentiation? The hypothesis is that producers who received technical support, together with managerial guidance, are more technically efficient than those assisted by the conventional Ater public. Results were obtained by means of statistic tests and Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA). Statistic tests (normal test, t test and chi square test) were used in order to verify the average of the studied sample, while non parametric model DEA, through computer tool SIAD, provided the necessary results needed for the technical efficiency comparison of the producers studied. The results obtained confirmed the central hypothesis of this dissertation, pointing out that family farmers who have received technical-managerial guidance were actually more technically efficient than those who have not. / Esta dissertação tem como tema ANÁLISE ENVOLTÓRIA DE DADOS PARA AVALIAÇÃO DA EFICIÊNCIA DA AVICULTURA FAMILIAR EM ALAGOAS, cujo objetivo principal foi avaliar a eficiência técnica dos agricultores familiares incluídos no Programa da Avicultura Familiar (PAF) do Município de Santana do Ipanema – Alagoas. A escolha pela avicultura se deu pela heterogeneidade das atividades exercidas no âmbito da agricultura familiar, que é caracterizada por sua complexidade em relação à produção e à comercialização, deixando o setor historicamente dependente das políticas assistencialistas do poder público. Diante deste contexto, as questões principais deste trabalho são: os agricultores familiares do PAF, que receberam acompanhamento técnico-gerencial, são eficientemente diferenciados? E como os serviços de Assistência técnica e extensão rural (Ater) podem ter influenciado nessa diferenciação? A hipótese é que os produtores que recebem acompanhamento técnico, aliados ao acompanhamento gerencial, são mais eficientes tecnicamente do que os assistidos pela Ater pública convencional. Para a obtenção dos resultados, foram utilizados testes estatísticos e o modelo de Análise Envoltória de Dados (DEA). Os testes estatísticos (teste de normalidade, teste t e teste do qui-quadrado) foram utilizados para verificar as médias das amostras em estudo, enquanto o modelo não paramétrico DEA, através da ferramenta computacional SIAD, forneceu os resultados necessários para a comparação da eficiência técnica entre os produtores estudados. Os resultados obtidos confirmaram a hipótese central deste trabalho, apontando que os agricultores familiares que receberam acompanhamento técnico-gerencial foram efetivamente mais eficientes tecnicamente do que os que não receberam o acompanhamento.

The phenomenon of alienation is closely related to the current morality crisis as it affects the very core of man's being. It appears that this phenomenon is not only a contemporary problem. It is as old as civilization itself, although its manifestation had taken on different forms in different eras. In this study alienation is analysed in time perspective. The following exponents pertaining to this phenomenon are examined closely: Plotinus, Hegel, Feuerbach, Marx, Durkheim, Fromm and the contemporary society. In the contemporary situation alienation manifests in various ways within the family and society. The disintegration of the family is escalating. More children are abused in a childhostile society. The generation gap is widening and suicide amongst teenagers is increasing. Man becomes more lonely and experiences an identity crisis from which he tries to escape by means of narcissism. Possible contributing factors to the above-mentioned are secularisation, nihilism, urbanisation and the negative influence of science and technology. The need of contemporary society cannot be realized without knowledge pertaining to the nature and essential characteristics of alienation. An accountable mode of thought grounded in time and space can be utilised towards bringing man to his senses. In attempting to establish authentic thought and accompaniment the reflective mode of thought can be implemented by the agogoque to take a stand against the degraded view o( man and world. This could result in man regaining a sense of security and could possibly lead to establishing an authentic world-view, mode of thought and accompaniment. / Die aktualiteit van die ontheemdingsverskynsel hang ten nouste met die moraliteitskrisis saam waarin die eietydse beskawing horn bevind, want dit raak die mens in sy diepste wese. Hierbenewens het dit ook aan die lig gekom dat meer as 80% van alle dosente aan geselekteerde tersiere onderwysinstansies in Suid-Afrika, oor geen vorm van formele onderrigkwalifikasies beskik nie.n Vraelys is ontwikkel ten einde te bepaal tot watter mate bevestiging vir die literatuurbevindinge in die praktyk gevind kon word en ook om dosente se algemene persepsies te toets met betrekking tot die doseerprofessie in sy geheel. Daar is veral klem gele op die onderskeie komponente van dosentskap - begeleiding en onderrig, navorsing, administrasie en gemeenskapsdiens. Drie bree kategoriee dosente is betrek by die studie, naamlik diegene verteenwoordigend van: Histories Afrikaanse Instellings; Histories Engelse Instellings; en Histories Swart Instellings. Uit hoofde van die bevindinge van die empiriese ondersoek, is praktykgerigte riglyne vir onderrig en begeleiding binne andragogiese konteks neergele. / It is not an exaggeration to maintain that the educational system in South Africa finds itself in the midst of a crisis. It can furthermore not be denied that tertiary education in particular is profoundly involved in this crisis. The dilemma which presently manifests in the educational sector is without doubt the result of the prolonged apartheidspolicy of the past. The tertiary sector, in particular, reflects an inadequate consideration of the unique needs of the broader community. In an effort to level the educational playfield, incisive changes and reconstruction are currently taking place in the broader educational sector. Various educational imperatives emerge:Affirmative action with regard to the discrepency in educational standards have to be addressed; The future educational needs of the growing South African population have to be accommodated; Qualified manpower that has to be provided so as to ensure a viable and progressive economy; The unique problems of large numbers of individuals who are unskilled or who are in possession of an inferior school education, have to be considered. A major obstacle in the way of addressing the aforementioned problem areas, is lecturers' apparent lack of sufficient teaching and accompaniment skills. Various research findings are quoted which point to the fact that the majority of lecturers are trapped in a spiral of obtaining qualifications and publishing research findings. This process unfortunately impacts negatively on effective teaching and the accompaniment of students. ·A related finding confirms that more than 80% of all lecturers at selected tertiary institutions in South Africa are not in possession of a professional teaching qualification. A questionnaire was developed in order to establish to which degree confirmation could be found in practice for the literature findings and also to establish lecturers' general perceptions with regard to the teaching profession. Emphasis was placed on the different components of the lecturing task. Three broad categories of lecturers were involved in the study, namely those representing: Historically Afrikaans Institutions; Historically English Institutions; and Historically black institutions. PÉČE O ONKOLOGICKY NEMOCNÉHO JEDINCE V HOSPICI A V NEMOCNICI / Care for an oncology patient

The diploma thesis addresses in detail the issue of a terminally ill individual and things closely associated with this topic including spiritual direction of the bereaved after the death of a close relative. Based on information from the literature it tries to reflect the basic conditions of approach to an oncology patient and his relatives (including the necessity of truthful communication and abidance by basic ethic rules). In order to provide a comprehensive view of the topic, the work includes research among the patient?s relatives realized in 4 out of the 14 hospice centers in the Czech Republic. On the basis of this research some positive aspects have been revealed on one hand, which are worthy acknowledgement and appreciation. On the other hand, there are areas and restraints motivating and challenging both types of healthcare centres to take steps that would lead to a better quality of care provided in the future.
