Esta tragédia revela inquietações artísticas e particularidades linguísticas que refletem o período que antecede o Risorgimento, tanto no âmbito político quanto no que se refere à cultura e ao idioma italiano. A presente dissertação apresenta também um perfil biográfico de Vittorio Alfieri, autor até o momento pouco conhecido no Brasil, a partir de estudo de sua autobiografia e de estudos publicados na Itália sobre sua obra e seu envolvimento com movimentos políticos que culminaram na Revolução Francesa / Abstract: this work consists on a translation of the play Antigone, by the Italian tragedy writer Vittorio Alfieri. The play was written in 1776 in Florence, Italy. This tragedy reveals artistic concerns and linguistic particularities that reflect the period of time that precedes the Risorgimento, both in a political extent as in where the Italian culture and language is concerned. 12	La recherche des précurseurs. Lectures critiques et scolaires de Vittorio Alfieri, Ugo Foscolo et Giacomo leopardi dans l'Italie fasciste. Lanfranchi, Stéphanie 29 November 2008 (has links) (PDF) La thèse porte sur le traitement de trois classiques de la littérature italienne durant les vingt-deux années du régime fasciste italien. Ces trois classiques sont : Vittorio Alfieri (1749-1803), Ugo Foscolo (1778-1827) et Giacomo Leopardi (1798-1837). Elle analyse d'une part la place qui est réservée à ces trois poètes dans les histoires littéraires de l'époque, en la comparant avec la production analogue précédente, et les questions esthétiques et thématiques qu'abordent le plus souvent les critiques littéraires, qu'ils soient d'inspiration fasciste ou antifasciste. Elle étudie d'autre part la spécificité du régime totalitaire, et sa vocation à s'approprier le culte de ces trois poètes et à en contrôler les lectures, principalement par le biais de l'enseignement - via les manuels et les programmes scolaires - et des institutions officielles qu'il crée de toute pièce ou qu'il « phagocyte ». En s'appuyant sur un corpus très varié, comportant les textes critiques méconnus ou oubliés des années 1920 et 1930 ainsi que des documents scolaires, des textes officiels, des lettres et différentes formes de témoignage, cette étude pose la question plus générale de l'instrumentalisation de la littérature dans le totalitarisme et du caractère particulier du fascisme italien. 13	The Leo Castelli Gallery in Metro magazine : American approaches to post-abstract figuration in an Italian context McKetta, Dorothy Jean 26 October 2012 (has links) Between the years 1960 and 1970, New York gallerist Leo Castelli was closely involved with Milanese editor and publisher Bruno Alfieri's Metro magazine--an international review of contemporary art. By placing his artists in Metro, Castelli inserted them into the world of Italian art criticism and theory. This recontextualization familiarized the American artists of Castelli's gallery to a European audience and positioned them at the end of a succession of modern European styles. Specifically, Castelli's artists, each of whom engaged in a form of pictorial figuration, were seen as ending the dominance of the "pure" abstraction of the French informel style. This thesis uses the archive of correspondence between Bruno Alfieri and Leo Castelli to examine Castelli's contribution to Metro during the 1960s.
