CoordenaÃÃo de AperfeiÃoamento de Pessoal de NÃvel Superior / Esta dissertaÃÃo possui como escopo a anÃlise das funÃÃes discursivas das recategorizaÃÃes. Este trabalho restringe-se à anÃlise das recategorizaÃÃes lexicais ocorridas por meio de anÃforas diretas, correferenciais. Adotamos a perspectiva teÃrica de que o fenÃmeno pesquisado situa-se na atividade discursiva de referenciaÃÃo, concebida como uma (re)construÃÃo do real, advinda da interaÃÃo entre os falantes, de forma intersubjetiva. Propomos uma classificaÃÃo das possÃveis funÃÃes assumidas pelas recategorizaÃÃes nos diferentes contextos discursivos. Para tal fim, abordamos, inicialmente, a proposta classificatÃria de Cavalcante (2003) dos processos referenciais, entre os quais estÃo inseridas as recategorizaÃÃes. A partir disso, retomamos a anÃlise pioneira de ApothÃloz e Reichler-BÃguelin (1995) sobre as recategorizaÃÃes, bem como discutimos os trabalhos de Tavares (2003) e de Lima (2003), que se baseiam nos dois autores. Contemplamos, fundamentalmente, a sugestÃo de Koch (2004) sobre as funÃÃes cognitivo-discursivas das expressÃes nominais referenciais, que serviram de parÃmetro para nossa proposta de funÃÃes das recategorizaÃÃes. Nosso corpus consta de 80 textos de diversos gÃneros: destes, 62 textos foram por nÃs escolhidos aleatoriamente; a outra parte da amostra à pertencente ao banco de dados do grupo de estudos Protexto/UFC. Com a anÃlise dos dados, averiguamos traÃos funcionais das recategorizaÃÃes, que vieram a compor nossa classificaÃÃo e nos levaram a constatar que as recategorizaÃÃes podem ser multifuncionais nos discursos. This research was delimited to the analysis of the occurred lexical recategorizations through direct co-referential anaphoras. We adopt the theoretical perspective of that the searched phenomenon is placed in the activity discourse of referencing, conceived as a (re) construction of the reality, happened of the interaction between the speakers, in a intersubjective way. We proposed one classification of the possible functions assumed for the recategorizations in different discourse contexts. For such end, we approached, initially, the classifying proposal by Cavalcante (2003) about referential expressions, that has been used as a base of our functional proposal about recategorizations. From this, we retook the pioneer analysis by ApothÃloz and Reichler-BÃguelin (1995) about recategorizations, and we discussed the works by Tavares (2003) and Lima (2003), based on the two authors. We contemplated, basically, the suggestion by Koch (2004) about cognitive and discourse functions of the lexical referential expressions; in our proposal about recategorizations. Our corpus consisted of 80 texts was taken from different genres: 62 of them were chosen casually. Another part belongs to the bank of data of Protexto/UFC group studies. With the analysis of the data, we inquired functional traces of the recategorizations, that had come to compose our classification and it had taken us to evidence that recategorizations can be multi-functional in the speeches. The difficulty of reading and understanding observed in classroom guided the accomplishment of this research.The objective of this work is to contribute for the studies of Portuguese Language with special prominence for the reading. The specific objectives are: 1 - To observe and to reflect on the strategies of referencing used by the reader to process the enrolled information in the opinion article, having for parameter the study of the anaphoric relations. 2 - To verify and to demonstrate the paper of the anaphoras to assure the progression semantics of the literal reference, as well as the production of decurrent direction of its use. To reach the objectives, we consider authors who deal with the referencing, as Mondada and Dubois (1995, 2003), Koch (2003, 2006), Koch and Elias (2006), among others. The referral strategies were discussed from the perspective of Apothéloz and Reichler-Béguelin (1995).Is the same lection by Koch and Elias (2006), Kleiman (2002), Pozo (2002), amongst others. About the study of genres and textual sequences the theoretical basement has for anchorage the studies of in Marcuschi (2005, 2006, 2008), of Bonini et. alli. (2005), of Adam (1992), and Charaudeau (2009). The results gotten in the analysis of the opinion article indicate that the anaphoric strategies guarante the progression of the reference in the text and by means of them if they provide directions that provide the reading comprehension, a time who they are linked to cognitive and linguistic processes.Therefore, the reading process is responsible for the deciphering both the textual strategies and cognitive that constitute the direction of the text / Esta dissertação insere-se na linha de pesquisa Leitura, Escrita e Ensino da Língua Portuguesa e tem como objeto de estudo a relevância das anáforas, marcas que garantem a progressão da referência e a construção de sentidos no texto. A dificuldade de leitura e compreensão observada em sala de aula orientou a realização da pesquisa. O objetivo deste trabalho é contribuir para os estudos de Língua Portuguesa com especial destaque para a leitura. Os objetivos específicos são: 1 - Observar e refletir sobre as estratégias de referenciação empregadas pelo leitor para processar as informações inscritas no artigo de opinião, tendo por parâmetro o estudo das relações anafóricas. 2 - Verificar e demonstrar o papel das anáforas para assegurar a progressão semântica da referência textual, bem como a produção de sentido decorrente de seu uso. Para atingirmos os objetivos, consideramos autores que tratam da referenciação, como Mondada e Dubois (1995, 2003), Koch (2003, 2006), Koch e Elias (2006), entre outros. As estratégias de referenciação foram abordadas sob a ótica de Apothéloz e Reichler-Béguelin (1995). Trata-se igualmente da leitura sob a ótica de Koch e Elias (2006), Kleiman (2002), Pozo (2002), Smitth (1988, 1999) dentre outros. Quanto ao estudo dos Gêneros e sequências textuais, o embasamento teórico tem por ancoragem os estudos de em Marcuschi (2005, 2006, 2008), de Bonini et. alli. (2005), de Adam (1992), e de Charaudeau (2009). Os resultados obtidos na análise do artigo de opinião indicam que as estratégias anafóricas garantem a progressão da referência no texto e por meio delas se estabelecem sentidos que proporcionam a compreensão textual, uma vez que estão ligadas aos processos linguísticos e cognitivos. Portanto, o processo de leitura é responsável pela decifração tanto das estratégias textuais quanto das estratégias cognitivas que constituem o sentido do texto

The research, under the viewpoint of Textual Linguistics, justifies itself through the relevance of the theme, mainly due to a lack of works of this textual sort, which circulated during the Middle Ages. Keeping the objective of the research in mind, two of Fernão Lopes chronicles were chosen, having as their theme the romance between D. Pedro I and Inês de Castro, in which the direct and indirect anaphoras used in the construction of the discourse objects were analyzed, for the understanding of the text as a whole, seeing that such objects are built from a determined historical context. The results indicate that Fernão Lopes, in his chronicles, after having introduced the references, keeps us bound predominately by using pronominalizations, repetitions, defined nominal expressions and elipses, ensuring the flow of the text and the textual coherence. Indirect and associative anaphoras are used with less frequency / Nesta dissertação, temos por tema o processo de referenciação e por objetivo analisar os processos anafóricos diretos e indiretos para a (re)construção dos objetos de discurso e destes para o sentido do texto, em crônicas produzidas na Idade Média por Fernão Lopes. A pesquisa, sob o ponto de vista da Linguística Textual, justifica-se pela relevância do tema, principalmente dada a falta de trabalhos em torno desse gênero textual, que circulava na Idade Média. Tendo-se em vista o objetivo da pesquisa, selecionamos duas crônicas de Fernão Lopes, tendo como tema o romance entre D. Pedro I e Inês de Castro, em que foram analisadas as anáforas diretas e indiretas empregadas na construção dos objetos de discurso, para a compreensão do texto como um todo, já que tais objetos são construídos a partir de um determinado contexto histórico. Os resultados indicam que Fernão Lopes, em suas crônicas, após a introdução dos referentes, mantém-nos ressaltados predominantemente por meio de pronominalizações, repetições, expressões nominais definidas e elipses, garantindo a progressão do texto e a coerência textual. As anáforas indiretas e associativas são utilizadas com menor frequência
