Adoption et usage(s) des outils de gestion par les directeurs d’établissement et services médico-sociaux : état des lieux et facteurs explicatifs / Adoption and uses of management tools in specific nursing home : state of play and explanatory factors

Lux, Gulliver 13 November 2013 (has links)
The medico-social sector today produces a large number of management tools at the national "state" level through the ANAP (National Support Agency for Performance) and ANESM (National Agency for the Assessment and Quality of Medico-social Services and Institutions) at the national "sector" level through large associations and federations, at the regional level by the supervisory authorities which are the Regional Health Agencies, at the level of head offices of associations, or on the ground within the Medico-Social Institutions and Services (ESMS).We study the future of this management tool at the operational level: within medico-social institutions and services (ESMS). More specifically, we study the management practices of directors of ESMS' in the field of disability belonging to administrative associations. The methodology used is twofold. A first qualitative approach allows us to identify the management tools that may be seen without ESMS', to draw up an inventory of the uses of these tools and to identify key explanatory and predictive factors of the variability of statutes for the adoption and use of tools. To do this, we focus on 32 semi-structured interviews of directors of medico-social institutions and services. A second quantitative approach which allows us to confirm the importance of the attitude of the individual towards the tool, and the perceived social norms characterizing the attitude vis-à-vis the management tool of stakeholders. The pervasiveness of attitudes emphasizes the importance of meaning (or schema) carried by the tool. Within this confirmatory stage we focus on 351 responses to a questionnaire sent to ESMS directors.

Trestný čin krádeže podle § 205 trestního zákoníku / The crime of theft according to section 205 of Czech Criminal Code

Halašta, Martin January 2019 (has links)
The crime of theft according to section 205 of Czech Criminal Code This diploma thesis focuses on crime of theft according to section 205 of the Act No. 40/2009 Coll. Criminal code. Crime of theft is the most committed crime out of them all. It is therefore possible to think that one of the causes of such a high frequency may be its inadequate regulation in the Criminal Code. For this reason, the aim of thesis was to describe and evaluate its development and propose possible changes. Thesis also includes a comparison with the foreign regulation and extensive work with the judicial case law, which significantly contributed to the completion of the individual qualified crime elements Thesis is divided into five chapters and many subchapters. The introductory chapter is devoted to the inclusion of theft into the system of property crimes. In the following section are mentioned earlier opinions on the protection of property as such and how ownership is protected today. The second chapter describes, evaluates and compares the historical development of the legal regulation of the theft with the current regulation, especially in the Czech territory. This chapter discusses how different the perception of the property protection was and over the period has been. Also, next part in this chapter is devoted to...

Spatial Appropri-Action : Tactics for the post-industrial designer

Nielsen, Karen Cort January 2020 (has links)
This is a project that asks questions. Why are we behaving in certain ways? Why are we using objects for a certain purpose and not others? Why can’t we do it differently? Questions most of us never even consider because we have gotten so used to following the path that is predetermined for us. Throughout this work I will analyze how skateboarding poses a critique of spatial regulations and pre-defined purposes, as well as how skaters are suggesting a whole new perspective on our everyday life. I argue that skaters are in fact the post-industrial designers of their everyday life, and that the perspective of skaters carries potential for sustainable change as it favors the imagination and possibilities over restrictions and limitations. This is a perspective that I believe can help us make better use of the resources we have, both in terms of ecological sustainability, but also with regards to social aspects, as it allows for greater diversity and multitudes of behaviors within the same space. Through several design iterations I have explored how skateboarding offers tactics that can be applied by others to start a process of imagining and performing alternative ways of engaging with public spaces.

OUR EXISTENCE MATTER : EXPERIENCES AND BELONGING OF URBAN SPACE FROM STREET HAWKERS PERSPECTIVE-A CASE STUDY OF LA-NKWANTANANG MADINA MUNICIPAL AREA

Kwarteng, Ishmael Adinya January 2020 (has links)
The study examines the experiences of street hawkers and contributes to the current but less represented debate on hawkers’ ways of appropriating the urban space through space modification and codification that serve greatly their capitalist purposes and how those daily activities influence their sense of belonging to the urban public space. The hawkers in the study area; La- Nkwantanang-Madina Area, Ghana show some social concerns in their informal day-to-day street activities that account for some of the relocation issues that render the repressive measures of city authorities futile. In understanding the space appropriation and sense of belonging from the hawker’s perspective, the study introduces the concept of “right to the city” for which the purpose of this study conceptualizes it as “the right to the street” so it can better attend to the experiences of place and sense of belonging by the hawkers, the informality concept and the urban citizenship. The study uses qualitative approach which included methods; participant observation, in-depth interviews and Focus group discussion to help unearth some of the issues that contribute to the debate. The research finds that although the space contestations between the street hawkers and city officials still lingers on, the hawkers are able to successfully reproduce their belonging to the urban streets through exchange value of space and the diversification of urban streets which forms part of the urban fabric without dominating the streets to obstruct the use value for other urban dwellers.

Mobile Space / Det mobila rummet

Edling Helmers, Siri January 2014 (has links)
My project creates spaces for common use, reclaiming a little left-over piece of the city landscape. The mobile culture house unfolds and fragments in interaction with the places it encounters. It is flexible, multi-use and respectful of the surrounding environment. I have attempted to answer to questions concerning the development of the city of Stockholm in times of escalating urbanization and galloping housing shortage when unreflected densification risks to erase diversity, cause gentrification and reinforce segregation. I have investigated the existing flora of small, urban grass-root, resistance movements and I have added my own contribution to the set.

The appropriation of education policy on information and communication technology in South African schools

Vandeyar, Thirusellvan 01 June 2011 (has links)
The purpose of this study is to explore how education policy on information and communication technology (ICT) influences teaching and learning in South African schools. An instrumental case study applying backward mapping principles as a strategy of inquiry was used. Utilizing a social constructivist lens and guided by a theoretical framework of a socio-cultural approach to policy analysis, this exploratory qualitative research study set out to investigate how teachers in South African schools appropriate education policy on ICT. The case study included three schools from diverse socio-cultural settings, with two participating teachers at each of the identified research sites. The principal at each school and e-learning specialists (officials) at the District and Provincial Departments of Education constituted additional data sources. Data collection methods included interviews, classroom observations, field notes and document analysis. Constructivist grounded theory methods and computer assisted qualitative data analysis software (CAQDAS)were employed in the analysis of data. It was found that, teachers’ professionalism and agency are crucial in formulating and implementing a school-based e-education policy in practice. The national e-education policy currently exists as an “invisible policy” within the school context. Secondly, teachers reposition themselves as social and cultural actors of school-based policy appropriation and formulation rather than as recipients of, or reactors to the national e-Education policy. Thirdly, the lack of systemic support to teachers acted as the catalyst for the emergence of communities of practice between schools. The notion of “our” system as opposed to an imposed system prevails. Fourthly, teachers’ ignorance of the national e-Education policy indicates the need for policy development and implementation at school level and denotes a new construct to policy appropriation. I theorise that teachers’ beliefs, attitudes, professionalism and will to improve teaching and learning through the use of ICT are integral and necessary conditions for effective policy implementation. / Thesis (PhD)--University of Pretoria, 2010. / Science, Mathematics and Technology Education / unrestricted

Amazon: Unwelcome Giant?! : a case study on competitive dynamics developed from Amazon's entry into the Swedish market

Gunnarsson, Sarah, Lilliehorn, Sofia January 2021 (has links)
For the last months, the Swedish e-commerce market has experienced impacted competitive dynamics followed by the entrance of the US giant, Amazon. This thesis investigated the competitive dynamics that developed after the entrance of Amazon on the Swedish e-commerce market. The research aimed to accentuate how the competitive dynamics developed, how Amazon was perceived on the Swedish market, and whether it was in fact unwelcome by Swedish firms. Suspicion of the unfamiliar giant resulted in various reactions from the Swedish players. The thesis conducted a case study of the competitive dynamics that developed from Amazon’s entrance into the Swedish market. A conceptual framework based on previous research was constructed to connect essential theories within competitive dynamics. The framework represents an industry’s competitive environment when an actor enters a new market. The empirical data was collected through qualitative research interviews with five Swedish firms operating within the book industry, children product industry, and marketplace industry. Findings showed that competitive dynamics is evidently impacted. The Swedish players are less threatened than expected, and many preparations were in store before the entrance. Findings additionally found that Amazon could help to drive customer consciousness of marketplaces. This thesis has contributed to additional insight in competitive dynamics from a firm perspective.

Apropriace ve veřejném prostoru jako způsob zkvalitnění života ve městě: na příkladu z Prahy / Appropriation in Public Space as a Way of Improving a Quality of Life in a City: on the Example from Prague

Klodnerová, Kristýna January 2015 (has links)
The diploma thesis is focused on the phenomenon of processes of appropriation in public space. The analysis draws upon urban anthropology with the aim to point out that some appropriative tactics may help to improve a quality of life in a city. The thesis is based on the theoretical concepts of French scholars, namely Marc Augé, Michel de Certeau and Henri Lefebvre, who share the common interest in a man as the everyday user, but also the creator of public space. Another methodological tool is the qualitative criteria of public space established by Jan Gehl. After the introduction to the urban anthropology the thesis concerns with the public space itself, defining it, putting it into the practical framework and outlining the main problems of its crisis. The next part is about the processes of appropriation and their forms. In the applied part of the thesis are then described the examples of four Prague public spaces which are appropriated by their inhabitants and it is evaluated their importance for the whole city. In the last part is the theory turned into the practice in the form of micro- project in the Prague public space. Key words Appropriation, city, urban anthropology, public space, open space.
