Representação e prática da criação literária na obra de João Cabral de Melo Neto: análise textual e prototextual / Representation and practice of literary creation in the work of João Cabral de Melo Neto: Textual and protextual analysis

Francisco José Gonçalves Lima Rocha 05 July 2011 (has links)
João Cabral de Melo Neto\'s creative conduct is traditionally characterized as an activity directed by an architectonic reasoning, which consciously projects and rigorously realizes the literary work. The approach taken here of his creative thinking that is, of the representations of the act of making in his metalinguistic poems and of his creative practice which is discernible on the glyphs of his manuscripts takes us sensibly away from an architectural paradigm. Instead, we propose to consider Cabral\'s making act as a constant reformulation activity, which produces, during the writing process, new meanings and structures not determined a priori, in this way integrating imprevisibility and instability to the very essence of literary creation.

Antické tradice v architektuře zámku Kačina / Greek and Roman traditions in Architecture of Chateau Kačina

Matys, Marián January 2011 (has links)
The subject of this paper is the study of history of the Kačina Chateau from the point of view of its inspiration from the art and architecture of the ancient world. The introductory chapters were dedicated to the general atmosphere of the time in which the castle was designed and built, the general ideas of the Enlightenment, and also to its relations to Count Chotek. There is an unresolved problem whether its relations to Classical antiquity monuments existed directly, or if they were mediated by other sources. While working on the theme it turned out that the foundation of Kačina Chateau derived from earlier models that were developed during centuries. The work of Marcus Vitruvius Pollio was of substantial importance for all Classicist architecture and especially the architects of the Renaissance knew it very well and used it frequently. For the architecture of Kačina Chateau the most important stimuli were those of Andreas Palladio who transformed earlier patterns according to his own artistic views. One of the following chapters concentrates on the personality of the owner of the estate, the Count Jan Rudolf Chotek, and then on the architects and builders of the castle. Following chapters are dedicated to the description of the castle, of its exterior, the segmentation of its interior...

Modélisation de la réponse de l'architecture au climat local / Modelling the architecture response to the local climate

Rodriguez, Gonzalo 10 December 2013 (has links)
In the context of the current energy crisis, energy consumption and the carbon trace have become a mayor influence in the architectonic conception, the first link in the construction process. Recent constrains associated with international agreements such as the Rio Summit (1992), the Kyoto Protocole and, specifically in France, Grenelle delʼEnvironnement Round Table (2007), have diversified the number of stakeholders in the architectural conception, traditionally reserved to architects. The race to reduce by hal fenergy consumption in buildings (RT 2012) as well as the goal to cut by four greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 (Grenelle de lʼEnvironnement), puts the architectural creative process in jeopardy. Such demanding requirements favor trivial technical solutions and encourage standardization and off shoring of architectural elements. This researchʼs purpose is to place the architectural approach at the center of the sustainable conception. This allows the validation of the performance of a houseʼs shape as an effective response to environmental constrains. For this, we have placed our interest in the vernacular house, usually characterized by simple forms and adapted to their sociocultural and geo-climatic context. This habitat, which has resulted from a long term optimization, is inevitably sustainable. The vernacular habitat is analyzed herein in the search of the motivations that have shaped it. In consequence, geographical and climate circumstances that could have determined the shape of houses have been considered. We claim that from the analysis of visible architectural features it is possible to obtain information on the geo-climatic environment as well as the influence relationships that connect them. These influence relationships are modeled following a qualitative approach supported by a qualitative representation of knowledge. The representation, based upon qualitative functions, enables automatic reasoning, starting from gathered awareness of geo-climatic environment, for establishing corresponding architectural features. Finally, the modeled result both allows the evaluation of the form of new houses and assist the conception of houses adapted to their local context.

Architektonická studie sakrálního objektu Brno - Líšeň / Architectural study of the sacral object Brno - Líšeň

Křenková, Anna January 2020 (has links)
The assignment of this diploma thesis is design proposal of a new roman catholic church and parsonage with parish centre inside stabilised existing development of slab block housing estate in Nová Líšeň, Brno. The need for church has emerged shortly after completion of the housing development and intensified alongside the growth of believer community created around Salesian centre that has been active in the area since 90’s and focuses on upbringing of youngsters through Don Bosco’s educating methods. Masses have been held so far in the gym of the Salesian centre with about 250 Sunday visitors. The church ought to be designed near the centre and dedicated to Holy spirit so that it serves both community and wider range of believers at the housing estate. The thesis deals with church, parsonage with parish centre and housing development relationship. It’s attempting to answer the question how the church connects to the housing estate and communicates its mission to its surroundings. The design proposal is based on urban context analysis, analysis of Salesian congregation and conditions of the building plot. The composition consists of two functional parts that are connected. First part consists of the church building design with 300 seated and 100 standing visitors capacity per mass and technical support areas. Second functional part is made of the parish centre with community hall for 100 people, educational room, parish offices and accommodation for members of congregation. The design content is supplemented with design of semi-public space, solution to traffic service and parking and design of parish orchard.

NÁMESTOVO : Možnosti města / NÁMESTOVO : Possibilities of the town

Kubík, Lukáš January 2016 (has links)
The northernmost territory of Slovakia. Upper Orava. Immediate neighbors with Poland, the proximity of the border with the Czech Republic. Centre vast and relatively densely populated district (an area of 690, 46 km2 and are home to 60,653 inhabitants). The whole region is a protected area, richly wooded. Right in the city cadastre passes Ramsar protected area. The town lies at the foot of Orava Beskydy, Magura and the banks of the Orava dam, which flooded the western part of the Orava Basin. The district does not rail, relatively dense settlements generates raster-developed road network and frequented suburban bus service. Cities Tvrdošín and Trstená are just 14 km far from Namestovo. Total 24 800 inhabitants combines an attractive route in the Orava Dam whose potential should be multiplied by completing the cycle path. Despite the lower number of inhabitants (8000) Námestovo is the centre a common system of public administration, recreation center, summer festivals and nightlife, the city that attract large numbers of visitors. Addressed area is located at the junction of the center of Namestovo and housing estates - places with the highest concentration of citizens. Meaning a small center of a small town is gaining esteem size of its catchment area. The functions above-urban importance are located in four areas - Square post office Hviezdoslava to the commercial zone, shops and services. Námestie A. Bernoláka - administration and authorities Lower Shores - health, industrial zone - centered manufacturing and service jobs in manufacturing. Out ff these sites two are located in solved area - commercial and health. Despite its importance, its appearance, depiction of a character does not correspond to his post. Absent are deeper expression, grasping and subsequent use of public space, and the concept of long-term strategy.
