Análises bioquímicas como adjuvante de aprimoramento atlético

Siqueira, Luciano de Oliveira January 2009 (has links)
The regular exercise has helped in controlling chronic diseases and improves quality of life. Moreover, the practice of elite sport may be harmful to athletes as if unaware of the actual boundary between the deleterious and beneficial effects of exercise on professional athletes. The increase in the consumption of O2 leads to increased production of ROS, which depending on the redox status of athletes, may lead to different levels of oxidative stress. The aim of this study was to establish a biochemical profile in different conditions of effort in professional athletes in training. samples of blood and urine of athletes during training sessions of different intensities were analyzed. Results suggest that session of moderate intensity exercise effort and long-term made more intense biochemical changes when compared to intermittent effort, showing that biochemical changes may be subject to variables such as temperature, humidity, degree of hydration and nutrition. The results show that the control laboratory markers of injury and catabolism may contribute to diagnose metabolic impairment frames and therefore in athletic performance.

Among the different types of fighting, Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) has grown rapidly in the international scenario. Characterized by incorporating fighting styles derived from other martial arts techniques involves standing grappling, groundwork grappling percussion techniques and require high fitness level. So often, the practice of sports of combat involves his own struggle as a method of physical and technical training and introduce high relevance, since it is often the study of simulated fights in various modes of combat. With this, it becomes relevant knowledge of the characteristics of these training practices, as has been evidenced that simulated fights have differentiated responses of fighting in official events. In this sense, the relationship between effort and pause of the fighting has been strongly suggested as a method for training prescription, what points the need of knowledge of these variables in simulated fights. Additionally, the knowledge of physical stress, organic and noticed the athletes, from these stimuli, it is necessary to better matching of the planning process and organization. Thus, the reduction of empirical factors of prescription can promote greater predictability of adaptations and reduce risks of overtraining, as this reality should be strongly considered in MMA. Thus, whereas much of the understanding of MMA is from the modalities comprising it, becomes relevant to description of organic, physical demands and psychometric originated specifically MMA fights simulation and the relationships of these with the temporality of the fights, as well as the characterization of the recovery processes of muscle damage indicators from this practice.

Cohésion et performance des équipes de football amateur de l’agglomération lyonnaise / Cohesion and performance of Lyons and its suburbs amateur football teams

Onomo Onomo, Ghislain Modeste 04 July 2014 (has links)
This thesis aims from a sociological approach to assess qualitatively the overall cohesion of a team of amateur football taking into account the main actors are the players, the coach and the club president on the one hand and analyze the relationship between group cohesion and sports scores on the other. The question is to what extent the interactions between members of a team of amateur football as the playground and outside can they reflect the level of overall cohesion of the organization. This is explained from the strategic and systemic analysis of Crozier and Friedberg (1977), how these actors at different personal goals, even opposite successful are to cooperate to achieve the goal set by the sports group. It is in other words trying to understand how despite their resources, unequal stresses, and various stakeholder strategies, the team members come to work. Three senior teams clubs of Rhone were included in this study: it is Grigny Football Club, the Athletic Association of Greater Lyon Bron and Union Sportive of Millery Vourles. The main results of these investigations show that: the coach and especially the president can all influence teams cohesion as players; the sports results of a team of amateur football depends not only on the degree of overall cohesion of its members, but also taking into account the vagaries of sport; These studies conclude that the overall cohesion of the members of a team of amateur football can be evaluated qualitatively and effectively influences its sports results

Motorická výkonnost členů SpS ČAS / Basic Fitness and motor development of the Czech Athletics Federation Sport Centers Members

Kůta, Radim January 2016 (has links)
In our work we analyzed the performance of the members 14-15 years old of the sport centres (SpS) 2014 . We compared the members of SpS with school population from the study of Pávek (1977). The basic motoric tests were 50 m run, standing long jump, the medicine ball throw 2kg and the 12 minute run. The memberes of SpS 2014 were significantly better than school population from the study of Pávek (1977). We compared the meberes of SpS with the athletes of ČSTV (1982). The athletes of ČSTV (1982) were significantly better than the meberes of SpS 2014 in motoric tests: standing long jump and 12 minute run. Furthermore, we found that general physical performance of sprinters specifically reflected in their athletic performance. Segurança e eficácia do exercício físico nas miopatias necrosantes imunomediadas / Safety and efficacy of physical exercise in immune-mediated necrotizing myopathies

Souza, Jean Marcos de 24 June 2019 (has links)
Ademais, o treinamento físico combinado supervisionado em pacientes MNIM se mostrou seguro e eficaz, promovendo aumento de capacidade aeróbia, força e função muscular / Objectives: To describe retrospectively a case series of patients with immunemediated necrotizing myopathy (IMNM), evaluating the effects of an induction therapy with methylprednisolone (MP) associated or not with intravenous human immunoglobulin (IVIG) on late muscle condition, as seen by muscle magnetic resonance imaging, and on parameters of disease activity. Next, to evaluate prospectively the effects of an assisted and combined physical training program in this sample regarding safety, clinical status, aerobic capacity, muscle strength and function. Methods: Thirteen patients with IMNM (4 patients with anti-hydroxymethyl- glutaryl coenzyme A reductase autoantibodies and 9 patients with antisignal- recognition particle) were initially evaluated in a longitudinal analysis, from 2012 to 2018. By institutional protocol, these patients were treated at diagnosis with an induction scheme with MP pulse therapies associated or not with IVIG. The clinical and laboratory data to calculate the response criteria of the International Myositis Assessment & Clinical Study Group (IMACS) before treatment and at the end of the segment, as well as the magnetic resonance imaging of the thigh at the end of the segment, in order to assess atrophy, edema and fat replacement, were quantified. Additionally, in a quasi-experimental analysis, eight patients of the first sample were also submitted to a supervised physical training program combining aerobic and resisted exercises, twice a week, for 12 weeks. Finally, before and after the training program, the following data were compared: aerobic capacity, through cardiopulmonary exercise test; strength, through the maximal repetition test (RM) in the bench press and in the leg press; and muscular function, through the sit-tostand test (STS) and the timed up-and-go (TUG) test. Results: In the first sample, composed of 9 women and 4 men, the mean age of the patients at diagnosis was 53.5 years and the mean duration of symptoms until the diagnosis was 4 months. All patients received MP and/or IVIG therapy. After an average of 39 months of follow-up, all IMACS parameters improved significantly over baseline parameters. Nine patients had complete clinical response and, among them, two had complete remission. Eleven patients discontinued the use of glucocorticoids at the end of this phase. Only 2 patients had muscle atrophy or fat replacement classified as moderate in magnetic resonance, with the remainder presenting normal or mild findings. Eight patients in the initial sample continued the study and completed the training protocol. No disease activation, worsening of IMACS scores or adverse events were observed throughout the training period. Patients also increased aerobic capacity (time to reach the anaerobic threshold and time to achieve exhaustion), muscle strength (1 RM of the bench press) and muscle function (STS). Conclusion: In this case series, early treatment with MP and/or IVIG pulse therapy with the objective of complete clinical response may have been an effective treatment strategy for IMNM, acting on the parameters of disease activity and possibly on the accumulated muscle damage seen by magnetic resonance imaging. In addition, the supervised combined physical training in IMNM patients was shown to be safe and effective, increasing aerobic capacity, strength and muscle function
