An Exploratory study on the Chi Lin Technology advertising network operating system with the innovative business model of digital signage

In recent years, with the advance of liquid crystal display technology, the LCD monitors have been gradually replacing the traditional CRT monitors. From the display of desktop computers to the general home TV screen, the LCD screens become bigger and thinner. It is not only utilized in television and computers but also advertising billboards. It also helps the expansion of digital signage market. In response to the Chi Mei group¡¦s strategy to expand LCD panel development, Chi Lin Technology, a company with 40 years of experience in traditional plastic materials processing are transferring into the electronics manufacturer. Chi Lin Technology is constantly looking for the applicable areas of LCD technology and wants to bring the growth momentum for the company. They believe that the market of the digital signage in the convenience stores is white space. In order to seize this opportunity, Chi Lin Technology starts a series of internal innovation and integrates external resources to come out with a solution of the digital signage market development. This solution integrates the four major components, including hardware, software, services, and content. In addition, it consolidates subsidiary¡¦s advertising agency, content production, and channel management capabilities. This study is to analyze our strategy, which utilizes the existing core R&D strength to develop a complete digital signage solution. We will also research the advantages of Chi Lin Technology and the business model of advertising network operating system of digital signage.

過去傢俱業的產業價值鏈,大多採取專業分工模式。近年來,傢俱業整體產業經營環境開始產生轉變,導致國內傢俱業的外銷市場受到嚴重威脅,更重要的是,隨傢俱產業逐漸走向高級化、精緻化及多樣化,傳統廉價大量生產模式的傢俱業,已漸漸被取代。因此,台灣傢俱業者已逐漸體認到技術整合與技術升級的重要性。近來許多傢俱業者開始紛紛從專業分工模式,轉為朝向上、下游整合的經營模式,從專注少樣多量轉為多樣少量的生產模式。個案公司在本身資源相對不足的情況下,再加上為了加速回應市場變化的速度,以及提高對消費者的服務價值,即藉由虛擬垂直整合模式,間接減少消費者交易成本,策略性的採取上、下游虛擬整合模式,提供全方位的整合性服務。本研究即探討個案公司如何架構更具彈性的新興商業模式,有效進行產業價值鏈的整合,架構一個整合各方資源的虛擬平台,維持經營彈性,同時探討虛擬垂直整合模式的可行性及成功要素。 / The value chain of furniture mostly appears professional job assignment in the past years. Recently, furniture industry changes in operating environment caused export market to be seriously threatened. Furniture industry had transferred mass production mode into sophistication and diversity. Therefore, Managers with furniture industry have become conscious that technology integration and upgrades are very importance. Besides, many managers transferred specialization mode into up-and downstream integrated business model. In this paper, the case company which is relative shortage of resources adopts up-and downstream integrated business model to provide total solution services in order to response to changes in the market. The paper discusses the issue of how to build up a new business model, integrate value chain and creative a resources pool of virtual platform. Finally, the feasibility and success factors of virtual vertical integration are also discussed.

A transformation of a garment company from offline to online - an analysis with solutions based on SWOT and Enterprise Modeling : A case study on a small traditional enterprise

Chinese traditional garment enterprises not only have to face inventory and channel problems left over by history, but also encounter the influx of new online companies into the market, resulting in a significant decline in the turnover of the traditional garment industry. With the promotion of e-commerce, the economic development of the garment industry presents a new trend. In order to find new opportunities in the environment of increasingly fierce competition, traditional garment enterprises have embarked on the road of strategic transformation.This study takes a garment company DLD as the research subject and displays the primary information through the Business Model Canvas. A case study, therefore, is the research strategy applied in this study, and data are collected through interviews and questionnaires. The primary method of analyzing data is a combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis. The purpose of this study is to provide a useful reference for the enterprise in the transformation of e-commerce. SWOT analysis is conducted under the background information based on the Business Model Canvas, which demonstrates the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats encountered in the transformation process of its sales channel from offline to online. Combined with the Enterprise Modeling, this study summarizes the strategic transformation of the DLD company and proposes corresponding strategies and recommendations. Implementing the O2O e-commerce mode and the C2B business mode effectively reduces the product backlog and improves the company's competitiveness in the market. In the process of implementing these two modes, establishing a consumer database, unifying product prices, and establishing online and offline coordination teams are some practical methods for adjusting conflicts between sales channels and increasing product update rates. Besides, through the questionnaire, the recommendations proposed in this study are evaluated, two of which required further investigation and design.

Les travaux ayant utilisé la théorie de la connaissance créative (Nonaka et Takeuchi,1997 ; Nonaka et al, 2001) dans un contexte d’émergence organisationnelle sontrares, notamment dans le contexte d’accompagnement par incubation. La thèses’appuie sur ce corpus théorique pour apprécier les capacités d’apprentissage d’uneméthode d’accompagnement mobilisant le modèle GRP (Génération, Rémunérationet Partage de la valeur) de Verstraete et Jouison-Laffitte (2009). Il s’agit, à la fois, derelever le contenu des apprentissages et de comprendre comment cesapprentissages se forment, se cumulent et se traduisent en compétencesentrepreneuriales. Pour ce faire, le cadre opératoire déploie une recherche-actionpragmatiste auprès de quatre cas de porteurs de projet accompagnés parl’incubateur congolais I&Fentrepreneuriat. / Very little current literature has used the theory of creative knowledge (Nonaka andTakeuchi, 1997 ; Nonaka and al one, 2001) in the context of organizationalemergence, and what is more, in the context of support for business incubation.
