Previous issue date: 2003-12-30 / The main objectives of this study were: (1) to investigate the effectiveness of experimental
manipulation in the establishment of an experimental history founded on problem solving
and rule formulation (Stage 1); (2) to examine the effects of that experimental history upon
problem solving and rule formulation in a later test (Stage 2); and (3) to analyze whether
the outcomes observed in the Stage 2 had been due the structural similarity of the stimuli
employed for or whether they had been determined by similarity of the matching-to-sample
procedures employed in both experimental stages. In the three experiments that were
conducted in this study structural similarity between the stimuli employed in Stages 1 and
2 was manipulated. In the Experiment 1 seventeen subjects (given by random process)
were spread about two groups: Control Group and Experimental Group 1. The Control
Group subjects were solely exposed to Stage 2. The stimuli employed in the Stage 1 were
the following syllables: Pa, Pe, Pi, Po, Pu and La, Le, Li, Lo, Lu. But despite that, the
stimuli employed in the Stage 2 were the next words: Papel, Pedra, Pinça, Poste, Pulga and
Lança, Lente, Livro, Louça, Luvas. The rules established for these experimental conditions
were: Whether the first letter of the syllable/word is a P, then touch green card on the
screen or Whether the first letter of the syllable/word is a L, then touch red card on the
screen . The subjects had an opportunity to report the rules after fifty trials exposure. In
the Experiments 2 and 3 were created Experimental Groups 2 and 3 with eight subjects
each. All subjects were exposed to Stages 1 and 2 in those later experiments. Nevertheless,
in the Experimental Group 2, the stimuli employed in Stage 1 were white or blue geometric
forms. In the Experimental Group 3, the stimuli employed in Stage 1 were the following
syllables: Ba, Be, Bi, Bo, Bu and Fa, Fe, Fi, Fo, Fu. The Stage 2 was the same for the three
experiments. Data analysis showed a proportional decrease in problem solving and rule
formulation behaviour frequencies related to stimuli structural similarity and functional
relations strength lessening. Without regard to it, the new established contingencies have
gradually reduced in effectiveness the historical background. The not straight construction
of verbal history was observed in this study as well.
No
Controle e Experimental 1.
A regra
Contudo, as novas contingências
diminuíram gradualmente os efeitos históricos. Foi observada a construção indireta de
história verbal.

Previous issue date: 2004-01-30 / This study aimed to investigate: (1) Which verbal operant would be
first acquired (tact, mand or intraverbal) and, (2) if a response established
under mand conditions would occur under tact and intraverbal conditions
without direct training, if a response established under tact conditions would
occur under mand and intraverbal conditions without direct training and, if a
response established under intraverbal conditions would occur under tact
and mand conditions without direct training. The subjects were six normal
children from three years and half to four years and half. The experiment
began with one baseline session where echoic responses were tested. Then,
three baseline sessions were applied to test mands, tacts and intraverbals.
Following each one of the three operants were trained for each subject using
specific stimuli. Prompts, fading, tangible reinforcers and other special
training procedures were used when required. As the subjects reached
criteria the other operants which were not trained with the stimuli used in this
phase were tested. The results showed that tacts and intraverbals were first
acquired in the training conditions and, the findings also showed greater
interdependence between mands and tacts, fewer interdependence between
tacts and mands, and between mands and intraverbals and, hardly no
interdependence between intraverbals and mands and between intraverbals
and tacts and, between tacts and intraverbals.

Previous issue date: 2004-12-30 / We tried to comprehend the way youngsters, female, with ages between
19 and 27 years old, rebuild their existences after a suicidal attempt. The
research, that happened within the rigidities of the phenomenological
method, figure on with two participants that had tried suicide around three
years ago and hadn't shown up suicidal tendencies for at least one year. The
instruments used were the Psychodiagnoses Rorschach and the open interview,
realized in an interactive kind with the participants, which allowed them
to produce along with the researcher a sketch of their life stories. The
Rorschach was aplied as a test and retest, been made the first application
after the suicidal attempt and the other, around four years later. It was
possible to notice that the two participants, which presented different
stories, had a drama that has gone to a common place, that was the need to
express whereas authentic beings, preparing themselves to the meeting with
the other, without losing their individuality and singularity.
A pesquisa,
e singularidade.

Previous issue date: 2003-04-29 / This research aims the comprehension of the senses attributes to offender
teenagers, submitted to the socio educational programme of assisted freedom. It's
based on interviews done with seven teenagers, being five boys and two girls, at the
headquarters of the Assisted Freedom Program, in Goias estate, Brazil, which has as
reference the sociohistorical approach proposed by Vigotsky. It initially recovers the
history of the inclusion by the exclusion of the poor teenage in Brazil, by directed
public politics to the offender teenagers, reviewing the historical term "minor", that
associates the poor teenagers to delinquency, and the attempt, based on the ECA to
restructure the relations between society and the teenager in conflict with the law.
The naturalized conceptions about the teenagers are then submitted to discussions,
focussing the process its development and the character necessarily social and
historical of its personality, and therefore the offender teenager is shown, in a context
of the contemporary society, bringing up the fundamental ideological elements that
fulfil the dialectic relation between this teenager with the social reality. It shows that,
contradictory and ambiguous, the feelings emerge from the voices of the teenagers
interviewed not only reveal their concrete reality, but also the reproduction of
ideological values, as the reinclusion to school, work or good behavior, proposed by
the Assisted Freedom Program. Past-present-future appear in their speech as a
"normal" aspect, that naturalizes their childhood, their socio condition, their life
perspective, and shows their inclusion by the socio exclusion, which would stop the
perception and the critics about the values of the capitalist society, and about their
own temporality and historicity. To conclude, the Assisted Freedom is questioned as
an institution that serves the dominant class interests, and pretends the conformism
and adaptation, while as a term that could refer to actually assist the teenager who
search for freedom having a critic knowledge of its social and historical reality,
allowing him to become a subject, not an object.

Previous issue date: 2009-08-07 / This essay appeared to reveal how to fit the functioning of the House and goyanna
province chain in the 19th century. And, to know the nuances of its operation,
which were submitted by the conditions (as) sentenced (as) who were prisoners in
enxovia of our chain. To achieve this goal was a survey of major sources, such as
regulation goyanna dated chain 1847. Through its reading are clear the strict
obligations were subordinated employees. Another important objective that seeks
to fulfil is to reveal, or rather give voice to excluded until now, our history. And how
women among those excluded are time and voice, is conducting a search the
record of your stories, recorded in the middle of the processes stored in the file of
the judiciary/escrivania of the crime of the city of Goiás. Analysis of the offending
procedures involving women, can identify them and i heard them, even if
documents produced by third parties. Thus they are mothers, workers and black
bags. All passive to engage in small offences on grounds of the most
commonplace even the most serious leading to the occurrence of murder.
trabalhadoras e negras forras.
