Study on Architecture-Oriented Project Risk Management Model

Hung, Mao-feng 23 June 2009 (has links)
This research studies the six strategies of Project Risk Management defined by a Guide to Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) issued by U.S. Project Management Institute (PMI), the model of risk management invented by Boehm in 1991, and an enterprise architecture tool. As a result, this research comes out Architecture-Oriented Project Risk Management Model, abbreviated as AOPRMM, which emphasizes structure behavior coalescence within an organization. AOPRMM thoroughly describe the organization¡¦s integrity and the services provided by various structure elements. Moreover, AOPRMM is able to demonstrate the relationship of interaction among structure elements. Currently, most risk management models are categorized into the process-oriented approach. This research utilizes architecture-oriented as a new approach for modeling the project risk management. The model used in our approach is compared with those such as standard model of ISO 31000, standard model of New Zealand, and standard model of Taiwanese government. The result of this research shows that AOPRMM could help project managers master the whole project in a short period of time, implement the project easily, and lower the cost. By applying AOPRMM, the industries could regulate standard operations, and clarify the responsibility and authority in order to implement the project risk management successfully. This research achieves a beneficial model and knowledge for the project risk management. This accomplishment may be valuable for the business and academic circles to follow and refer.

Study on Architecture-Oriented Human Resource Development System Model

Hsiao, Yu-chih 26 June 2009 (has links)
Human resource development, abbreviated as HRD, is a new and developing field evolved from the human resources management, abbreviated as HRM. Compared with HRM, HRD more emphasizes on the development of people and organization, also growth of personal professional knowledge and career. More importantly, it can improve performance of employee and organization. With the introduction of HRD, nowadays human resource department has already migrated from administrative role to strategic partner role. HRD has a large scope, including at least management by objectives, competency management, training management and performance management, and all the HRD elements influence each other closely. By means of human resource development system, abbreviated as HRDS, HRD related policies can be implemented effectively and successfully. ¡@¡@This research¡¦s objective is to redesign HRDS software architecture with structure behavior coalescence to avoid omits or biases in creating this complicated information system. Furthermore, this research¡¦s results will improve communication efficiency and quality on system maintenance.

Study on Service-Oriented Cable TV Customer Business Management Model

Chen, Ming-yuan 28 January 2010 (has links)
The current international standard ISO quality management practices and process-oriented methods widely used in various internal management and supervision, but businesses in dealing with the rapidly changing external environment, information technology can bring knowledge and complexity, as well as the effective use of corporate resources can be fully and so forth, these important issues can not be resolved through the above methods. The proverb says: You can manage what can not measure. The proverb also says: You can not measure what you can not describe. Therefore, enterprises need a clear and concise method for describing their overall business operations. It is even better that this method owns the flexibility to flexible and easy to learn and other features, so as to ensure sustainable development of the business. This study investigated Service-Oriented Cable TV Customer Business Management Model (SOCTCBMM). SOCTCBMM most salient feature is a service (structure elements) to guide a behavior, resulting in structure-behavior coalescence (SBC) of effect. In other words, Service-Oriented Cable TV Customer Business Management Model uses structure view as an entry point, so the basic unit of SOCTCBMM is a service, differing from process-oriented methods which use behavior view as an entry point. This research concluded that: the SBC service-oriented approach clearly and concisely describes the overall business operations, and therefore it is the enterprise the best options, it is not an exaggeration.

Etude de la mise en radeaux des précipités gamma prime plastiquement induite dans les superalliages monocristallins a base de nickel

Ratel, Nicolas 04 October 2007 (has links) (PDF)

Basdevant, Anne-Laure 06 December 2006 (has links) (PDF)

Study on Architecture-Oriented Vehicle Electronic Product Requirement Model

Chiu, Chun-Lung 08 January 2013 (has links)
The electronic system in automobiles has become more important in providing safety, comfort and entertainment, at the same time less harmful to the environment. Due to the fact that there are varieties in automobile electronic devises, product development has become more complex. For example, shortening product development period while maintaining quality and fulfilling requirements of each company are all important issues. The development of automobile electronic products cannot only emphasize on functionality but also need to be more customer-oriented to fulfill the needs and expectations of the users. The initial phase of product development should focus on confirming the types of products with clients in order to develop and manufacture into what have been expected. The goal of product development expected by the market has obvious differences with the actual products that have been manufactured. The reason for the differences is the emphasis on functionality during the initial phase of product development. Also, the development process has focused mainly on technological development instead of customer expectations and the changes that occur during the product life cycle, which brings in the need for ¡§Requirements Management.¡¨ Problems such as large amount of development cost, compensation, loss of order and reliability can be resolved through the application of ¡§Requirements Management.¡¨ Through observation and interviews with management team and project managing engineers, what is lacking is the method of demand analysis for system engineer of suppliers during the demand analysis stage to better analyze customer needs and to combine with existing system; thus managers can utilize the requirement analysis method to familiarize with the product. In addition, system engineers can better distribute resources and confirm demands. Based on the architecture-oriented model for auto electrical products, demand analysis method can clearly integrated different aspects, including structural and behavioral. These statistics can be utilized in the following phases during project development, such as system design, production, testing, and proofing stages, especially where integration with software, electrical and structural system is important and complex for the development of auto electrical products. The architecture-oriented model can maintain consistency and can be traceable along with the requirements model.

A Numerical and Experimental Investigation of Void Coalescence Causing Ductile Fracture

Griffin, Joel Sterling 20 April 2012 (has links)
A series of experiments and finite-element simulations were performed in order to assess existing void coalescence criteria and propose a new model for the coalescence of cylindrical holes in a pure metal matrix during uniaxial stretching. The finite-element simulations were performed so that various plastic limit-load models could be evaluated at each strain increment during deformation, rendering predictions concerning the farfield strains required for coalescence. The experiments were performed in order to identify the actual far-field strain at the moment of incipient coalescence for the specimen geometries considered. The cylindrical-void models of Thomason (1990) and McClintock (1966) outperformed all of the other considered models in their original states. A modified form of the Ragab (2004) plastic limit-load model is proposed in the present work and is shown to have good agreement with the experimental results. The present model accounts for ligament work-hardening and ligament orientation.
