Voice over IP for Sony Ericsson Cellular Phones / Voice over IP for Sony Ericsson Cellular PhonesTheander, Petter, Hultgren, Thomas January 2005 (has links)
This report presents an investigation of the possibilities to implement voice over IP (VoIP) in Sony Ericsson cellular phones. The results from this investigation show that it is partially possible to implement such a solution. The best option for doing so is to make use of the support for the Session Initiation Protocol and the Real-time Transport Protocol offered by the architecture. Another goal is to evaluate if Bluetooth is able to handle the requirements needed for the solution. The whole concept is proven by implementing a prototype. Measurements on this prototype show that Bluetooth will be able to handle the requirements of most IP-based voice communication, i.e., in respect to latency and bandwidth.

[pt] CARACTERIZAÇÃO DE PLACAS DE CIRCUITO IMPRESSO DE APARELHOS DE TELEFONE CELULAR VISANDO RECUPERAÇÃO DE METAIS VALIOSOS / [en] CHARACTERIZATION OF PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD OF MOBILE PHONES AIMING TO RECOVER VALUABLE METALS03 November 2021 (has links)
Neste trabalho, as sucatas passaram
[en] Nowadays the electronics industry is the leading sector in developing new
technologies. These new technologies lead to cheaper products increasing the
consumption. The lifetime of such products is relatively short and soon it becomes
waste, known as electronic waste. Cell phone is a common electronic
waste. This waste represents an interesting raw material, because it contains
large amount of base metals, considerable amount of valuable metals and also
those dangerous. In this work, the electronic waste was submitted to mechanical
processing: initially the devices were separated into two categories (less 2001,more
2002) and disassembled manually. The printed circuit boards were milled below 1
mm and then submitted to density and magnetic separation processes. The fractions
obtained during the mechanical processing were characterized by chemical
analysis. Using the mechanical processing was possible to obtain metal fractions
of 80 wt per cent. A preliminary study to recover silver using hydrometallurgical processes
was carried out. The concentrated material mechanically obtained was
leached with nitric acid. Then the silver was recovered from the leached solution
by cementation process. The silver cementation with copper was feasible; the
precipitate was rich in silver and leachate in copper. A leaching test was carried
out to determine if a waste needs to be managed as a hazardous; so that, cell
phone waste must be considered hazardous residue because the lead concentration
was above the limit established by Brazilian Standards.

Získávání servisních informací ze současných terminálů mobilních sítí GSM a UMTS, postupy servisu mobilních terminálů / Acquisition of service information from current terminals of GSM and UMTS cell networks, service procedures for mobile terminalsKříž, Jakub January 2008 (has links)
This thesis concentrates on the UMTS cellular network and the possibilities of its monitoring. There are several methods of monitoring the UMTS. The technique used in this project is based on monitoring through a cellular terminal. The theoretical part is devoted to the description of the UMTS system and the WCDMA technique. The practical part then deals with the method of UMTS monitoring through a cellular terminal and describes in detail individual screens of the FTD (Field Test Display) program, the Netmonitor functions and their parameters. The next part of this thesis analyses the RRC messages, which were recorded during the realization of services (video calls, calls, data transfers) in the UMTS network. The last chapters of the thesis are briefly dealing with software and hardware servicing of cellular terminals. The attachment then offers two lab tasks, in which the students get acquainted with the UMTS network structure and the behaviour of the cellular terminal in this network.

[en] THE PROFESSIONAL USAGE OF THE CELL PHONE: HOW ARE PEOPLE´S LIFE AND WORK AFTER THE ARRIVAL OF THIS TECHNOLOGY? / [pt] O USO PROFISSIONAL DO TELEFONE CELULAR: COMO ESTÃO A VIDA E O TRABALHO APÓS A CHEGADA DESSA NOVA TECNOLOGIA?LUCIA HELENA MELO CIPRIANO 28 May 2007 (has links)
[pt] As revoluções tecnológicas resultaram em grandes
transformações no
a
qualquer hora. A vida
respostas
rápidas para as
demandas constantes do seu dia-a-dia. O celular tornou-
eles. Na análise das
entrevistas pode-se verificar ainda o surgimento de
novos
hábitos, a partir da
utilização constante do celular, tais como a
administração
da casa e da família à
distância e a possibilidade de trabalhar remotamente. / [en] Technological revolutions have brought about dramatic
changes in the world
and in the ways people live, think, behave and feel. The
purpose of the present
study is to understand how the arrival of cell phones has
affected the ways
employees in the contemporary labor market live their
private and professional
lives. For this purpose, professionals who have children
and whose cell phone
accounts are paid for by their companies were interviewed.
All of them lived and
worked in Rio de Janeiro. Their answers showed that there
is no frontier between
their professional and private lives; cell phone use makes
their working and
professional lives mingle. In addition, the results
revealed that the lives of those
who took part in the present study have become more agile
due to the fact they
can both work and contact their homes and family at any
time, no matter where
they are. However, these professionals, who can also be
easily reached by means
of their cell phones, feel that they have to be available
to their employers all the
time in order to quickly solve their daily demands by
phone. The cell phone, in
the same way as the computer and the e-mail, has become a
working tool. The
interviewees admitted they could not imagine their daily
lives without those tools.
The interviews also showed that new habits have been
created as a result of the
constant use of those tools. Among these new habits are
the administration of
home and family from any distance and the possibility of
work remotely.

[pt] Rendering Baseado em Imagens (IBR - Image-Based Rendering)

literatura. Este
trabalho analisa as possibilidades de implementação de IBR
