In order that the data contained in these publications can show us the conceptual path used in the textual engineering of the discourses and the argumentative chain about the archaeological site of Figueira/Areal (Quara?), with the intention of contributing to the understanding of the discursive map built on the researched areas. From the isolation of key concepts one can understand the imbricated framework of statements that make the region and the debate fragile archaeologically. This work will prioritize the notion of representation, be it social or collective, in view of the different issues that permeate the topic addressed, sometimes social representations concerning the struggles of representation between archaeologists and historians, sometimes between collective representation, which falls on the object of the struggles of social representation, the pottery itself, this materialization that is a category of knowledge in historical and archaeological research, coming from human groups of the precolonial period. One of the objectives consisting of to present some discursive constructions of the platinum region and how they interfere in the interpretation of artifacts, in the present, and in the understanding of the archaeological sites. We will take into account the negotiations carried out between the subjects who built the founding discourse concerning the ceramics of the Areal/Quara?-RS site and the stipulation of the Vieira archaeological tradition for this site as a case study, that which aims to reconstruct the discursive map of the pioneer archaeologists through a geography of thought, which also gains support through History and its sources of research.

Sixty replica synocta implant and RN solid abutment were embedded in acrylic resin, being randomly assigned (n=20 per group). Three types of ceramics were used: Mark II (feldspar), IPS Empress CAD (leucite) and IPS e.max CAD (lithium disilicate). The crowns were fabricated by CAD-CAM system using the Cerec software version 4.1. After receiving glaze and were cemented with RelyX U200 cement under load of 1 Kg Half of the specimens of each ceramic was subjected to endurance EMIC DL-2000 test fracture in a universal testing machine with a speed of 1 mm / minute and the other half after 1,000,000 cycles of mechanical stress with a load of 100 N. According to two-way ANOVA, the interaction between the material and mechanical cycling was significant (p = 0.0001). According to Tukey test (&#945; = 5%) the fracture toughness without mechanical cycling and mechanical cycling, respectively, of Mark II (405N/454N) was statistically lower than ceramic IPS Empress CAD (1169N/1240N) and IPS e.max CAD (1378N/1025N) (p < 0.05). The ceramic IPS Empress CAD and IPS e.max CAD not differ statistically (p > 0.05). There was no statistical difference in the resistance to cyclic loading with and without fracture to the Mark II and IPS Empress CAD (p > 0.05, Student's t test) ceramics. For ceramic IPS e.max CAD, the fracture resistance without mechanical cycling was statistically superior to that obtained with cycling (p < 0.05). The ceramic IPS Empress CAD and IPS e.max CAD showed higher fracture resistance compared to ceramic Mark II. The cyclic loading negatively influenced only IPS e.max CAD. A ciclagem mec?nica influenciou negativamente apenas a cer?mica IPS e.max CAD.

Blocks of Mark II, IPS Empress CAD, IPS e.max CAD, Enamic, Lava Ultimate, Suprinity, CAD-Temp and CAD-Waxx were milled in CEREC MCXL system. The surface roughness (Ra; ?m) was measured before and after millig procedures, polishing and glaze (when indicated) followed by analysis by SEM and AFM. The results were subjected to statistical tests (one-way ANOVA for repeated measures and Tukey HSD and one-way ANOVA also with Post-Hoc Tukey, respectively) with a significance level of 5% (?=0.05). The milling step significantly increased surface roughness in all tested materials (p<0.05). Mechanical polishing was able to reduce the roughness generated by grinding, requiring the glazing step only in partially crystallized ceramic (IPS e.max CAD and Suprinity). In other materials (Mark II, IPS Empress CAD, Lava Ultimate, Enamic, CAD- Temp and CAD-Waxx) mechanical polishing was enough to achieve similar surface roughness values of the smoothness of the blocks directly from manufacturers. The study suggests that the glaze step can be suppressed in materials completely crystallized and/or polymerized by the manufacturer, these having no statistically significant difference when it's just done mechanical polishing.

Materials and Methods: Three different types of ceramic blocks for CAD / CAM were used: Mark II, Empress CAD and e.max CAD. The ceramics were divided into four subgroups according to the following surface treatment: G1: roughening with specific drill (ASP, Signum) + adhesive system; G2: hydrofluoric acid (HF) 5% + Signum, G3: ASP + 5% + AF Signum, G4: ASP + AF 10% + Signum. After the adhesive system application, a 6.0 mm resin composite block (Charisma) was made for the microtensile test. After 15 days of storage in distilled water, the blocks were cut and selected 20 sticks with cross sectional area of 1.0 mm2. The specimens were submitted to microtensile in a universal testing machine. Results: The use of ASP + AF 10% promoted the highest bond strength values in the ceramic Mark II (23.08 MPa) and Empress CAD (29.36 MPa). In e.max CAD, the use of ASP + AF 5% led to the highest values of bond strength (25.19 MPa). Based on these results we conclude that the adhesion of the adhesive system Signum for ceramics repairing depends on surface treatment being the association abrasion + hydrofluoric acid the most suitable. 英國與中東路事件:以英國駐華外交人員報告為中心的探討 / The role of Great Britain at the crisis of Chinese Eastern Railway, 1929: based on the report of Britain diplomatic agent in China

Su, Da Wei Unknown Date (has links)

: En kvalitativ studie / Sick and active-experiences with training buddies for cancer patients. : A qualitative study

Raddum Loe, Mona January 2014 (has links)
Purpose “The Training Buddy Project”develops, tests and evaluates a system that provides volunteer training buddies to assist post-treatment cancer patients increase physical activity. This thesis aimed to provide new insight into participant’s experiences with the project. Method: Four focus groupsinterviews with 14 informantswereconducted. Two focusgroups withcancer patients(n=5)and two with volunteer buddies(n=9). Data was analysed using phenomenography. Result: Four categories were identified: (i) volunteer training, (ii) experiences with the"Training Buddy Project", (iii) physical and psychological aspects of having a workoutbuddy and (iv) confidence to continuephysically activity. Influencing factors were identified internally, between users and training buddies and central authorities. Conclusion:  Binding agreements, social support, andassistance infindingpleasurable activities contribute importantly to cancer patient’s ability to re-establish physical activity and develop lasting activity habits after diagnose. Training buddies can help cancer patients in different phases of patient care, particularly for patients who lack the abilityto re-establish physical activityby themselves. A good training buddy service requires dedicated supervisors and individuals to track the appointments and activity of training buddies and their clients / <p>ISBN 978-91-86739-74-4</p>

Like most of the industries sectors, the ceramic sector also felt the need of developing. In this way, the ceramic industry has been seeking to create more and more pigments for the production of floors and coatings, aiming to meet the demand of ceramics for the decoration of domestic and commercial environments. In addition to that, there is a great interest in developing new materials that are in accordance with the environmental preservation that are also relatively low-cost. Retorted shale (RS) is a waste from the shale industry that may harm health and the environment if improperly stored. The aim of this study is to evaluate the viability of the materials, pure RS and metal-impregnated RS, to obtain pigments that are stable in several ceramic matrices, as well as to try to understand which parameters influence the pigmentation of the enamels. The RS-based pigments were prepared by wet impregnating of the metals and calcined at 700 and 900?C. After that, the materials were characterized by X-ray Fluorescence (XRF), Thermogravimetric analysis (Tg), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier-Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM /EDS), UV-Visible Spectroscopy and Colorimetry. The results confirm the feasibility of using RS as a ceramic pigment obtained by a simple method, low-cost and that reduces the environmental impacts caused by such waste. The pigments are light brown, red and shades of gray, according to the impregnation and calcination temperatures, which get darker at higher temperatures.

The purpose of this study was to verify in which composition and sintering temperature the ceramic system for infrastructure composed of alumina and zirconia would have the best mechanical properties. With this objective we made in UFRN laboratories 45 test bodies in the form of rectangular bars with the following dimensions: 30mm x 8mm x 3mm, where we separated by the sintering temperature: 1200?C, 1300?C and 1400?C, and by comp osition: 33% Zirconia + 67% Alumina; 50% Zirconia + 50% Alumina and 25% Zirconia + 75% Alumina, these test bodies were not infiltrated with glass. Also, were made nine test bodies by a technical from a laboratory with a commercial ceramic system: in the Ceram Zirc?nia (Vita - Zahnfabrik) with the following dimensions: 20mm x 10mm x 0.5mm, these test bodies following all recommendations of the manufacturer and were infiltrated with glass. Were realized optical and electronic microscopy analyses, hardness testing, resistance to bending in three points, porosity and bulk density. After analysis of the results we verified that with the increasing of sintering temperature, increased the value of resistance to bending, but with the same temperature there was no significant difference between the different compositions, samples made with the commercial ceramic that were infiltrated, presented a resistance to bending six times greater than the samples sintered to 1400?C and which have not been infiltra ted. There was no significant difference between the values of apparent porosity for the samples made in UFRN laboratories, but the samples of commercial ceramic obtained 0% in porosity apparent value. In tests of Rockwell Hardness there is an increase in the value of Hardness, with the increase of sintering temperature for the samples not infiltrated. Samples infiltrated showed similar values as the samples sintered in 1400?C. There was no significant difference between the values of apparent density among samples manufactured in UFRN laboratories and samples made with a commercial ceramic / Os avan?os constantes dos sistemas cer?micos para infra-estruturas de coroas e pontes fazem com que os pesquisadores e fabricantes busquem um material que tenha boas propriedades mec?nicas e est?ticas.
