Robotizované dojení a jeho působení na dojnice

Ševčík, Jiří January 2016 (has links)
The objective of the dissertation thesis was to evaluate the effects of two different types of milking systems (CMS - conventional milking system vs. AMS - an automatic milking system) on average daily milk yield, on frequency of attending robots, on pre-milking teat preparation procedures and stimulation and milking time, on the teats traumatization of Holstein cows. The experiments were performed in two locations: Žabčice School Farm of Mendel University in Brno and ZEMAX, a. s. in Šitbořice. Data was collected for a period 1st January 2014 to 15th December 2015. Higher average milk yield per day and lower milk yield per milking on the other hand on the farm with AMS were caused by a higher frequency of milking. Cows on farm with CMS were milked twice a day. On the farm with AMS dairy cows were milked in accordance with their own needs. Milking frequency in the AMS was in 2014 2.47, in 2015 2.88 per day. Heat stress has negative impacts on milk production. Effect of heat stress showed more markedly in 2015, which is probably related to the fact that the value of THI greater than 80 lasted longer. The length of pre-milking teat preparation procedures and stimulation various neighborhoods was found in AMS in 2014 from 0:13 min. to 0:16 min., in 2015 from 0:14 min. to 0:19 min. On farm with CMS time not be registered. The length of milking time with CMS in both years was 5:02 min. In AMS was in 2014 from 3:03 minutes to 3:53 min., in 2015 from 3:05 min. to 4:45 minutes. In process of milking machine teat traumatization were smaller when using AMS.

Encourage democracy : Creating a secure and reliable voting function in WordPress

Johanson, Christine January 2023 (has links)
The purpose of my project has been to create a voting feature on a campaign site for WWF, where visitors to the website can participate in voting and vote for different cities around the world to improve their sustainability efforts. The website has been developed in WordPress based on specified requirements, including security and voting frequency. The development of the website and the plugin has been done in collaboration with other developers in the project. For the website, a custom WordPress theme was created, and the majority of the site was constructed using custom Gutenberg blocks. A survey was performed to compare and analyze existing plugins in WordPress, and an evaluation showed that a custom-developed plugin for the project was the most suitable option. To achieve maximum security on the website, existing security features in WordPress were used, and control of the voting frequency were implemented. The result of the project culminated in a voting feature on the website, where votes were controlled, and the administration interface required authorized users. User tests of the website with colleagues on the company were planned, but due to time constraints, they could not be carried out before the project deadline. These tests were primarily intended to verify the functionality of the voting feature.

Patterns of User Activity in the Blackboard Course Management System Across All Courses in the 2004-2005 Academic Year at Brigham Young University

Griffiths, Michael E. 01 June 2007 (has links) (PDF)
The following report discusses the use of the Blackboard Course Management in terms of overall patterns of activity as recorded in the Blackboard activity database across the whole campus of Brigham Young University during the 2004-2005 academic year. The report contains a set of data represented by tables and graphs that summarize activity, or clicks, in the Blackboard system performed by students, professors, and assistants. The clicks are summarized according to a number of different categories and criteria and analyzed to show interesting patterns of activity. The report is designed to show a general campus wide summary of Blackboard activity and also to briefly explore patterns that may be used as a platform for further detailed research.

Search for new invisible particles produced in events with jets and large missing transverse momentum at LHC with the CMS detector Run-II data

Yuan, Siqi 07 February 2024 (has links)
Although astrophysical evidence supports the existence of dark matter (DM), it remains one of the unanswered questions left by the Standard Model (SM) of Particle Physics. However, under hypotheses of new interactions, the production of dark matter can be detected as an excess of events with large missing transverse momentum (p_T^miss) over the SM background process. This thesis documents a search for new particles at the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), targeting events where large p_T^miss and energetic jets are produced in a proton-proton collision at 13 TeV. The data were collected from 2017 to 2018 during the second half of LHC Run-II. The analysis also targets events where a jet is produced from W or Z bosons identified by a deep-neural-network-based tagger. Multiple control regions targeting specific background processes are defined which estimate background yield in the signal region through a simultaneous fit across control regions of all search channels. The result for the Run-II data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 137 fb^-1 is obtained by combining this analysis with the previously published 2016 data. No excess of events is observed compared to the SM background expectations. The result of this search is interpreted in several new physics models, including simplified dark matter models, large extra dimension model (ADD), Higgs portal models, and leptoquark models. Limits are set on model parameters providing the most stringent direct constraints on dark matter search from colliders.

ImageTalk : Tillverkandet av en WordPress applikation

Sundberg, Henrik January 2010 (has links)
The purpose of this work is to evaluate the content management system WordPress and the way to develop additional functionality for this system. It will concern the development of a tool to approve published posts and also to manage companies which will be linked on the various pages on a portal called ImageTalk. ImageTalk is the end product, and is a site for publishing digital media over the Internet. WordPress is written in PHP and makes use of css, javascript, and the mySQL database. Since this content management system is widely used, it seemed both relevant and interesting to evaluate WordPress, especially by adding new functionality.</p><p>The conclusion of this work is that WordPress is a very competent content management system that has great potential to be expanded and changed in most ways.</p><p>However, it is difficult to give a proper structure of the additional functionality you add, as it sometimes gets scattered and sometimes not sufficiently divided.</p>

Estudo do impacto do empilhamento em eventos na difração simples dura no CMS/LHC / Study on the pile-up impact in the variables commonly used to identify hard single diffractive events

Eliza Melo da Costa 22 December 2009 (has links)
We present here a study on the pile-up impact in the variables commonly used to identify diffractive events, the topology of single diffraction producing hard jets in the CMS conditions for low luminosity (2 X 1033 cm -2 s-1). The low luminosity scenario mentioned above is equivalent to approximately 5 pile-up events on average by crossing packages. To simulate the signal, diffractive events (with and without pile-up), we use the generator POMWIG(1). For the non-diffractive events (with and without pile-up), we use generator PYTHIA(2), and for the production of events of pile-up as well (events simulated using minimum bias events).

Estudo dos processos de dijatos exclusivos a &#8730;s = 7 TeV no CMS/LHC / Exclusivity dijets production at &#8730;s = 7 TeV on CMS/LHC

Eliza Melo da Costa 24 May 2013 (has links)
This work presents a study about the exclusive dijets production in pp interactions of type pp &#8594; p "+" dijets "+" p, where the protons this interaction remain intact, and the symbol "+" denotes a gap in pseudorapidity, a region with no hadronic activity between the scattered protons and the central dijets system, this process is known as central exclusive production. The analysis uses a data sample corresponding to effective luminosity of 24:48 pb -1 collected by the experiment Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) at Large Hadron Collider (LHC), in 2010, with center of mass energy of &#8730;s = 7 TeV. This channel has a experimental signature unique, characterized by scattered protons in the frontal region or low angles and two large gaps opposite. The central exclusive production process is useful for understanding the interactions in the context of QCD.
