Podniková kultura a personální činnosti ve vybraném podniku / Corporate Culture and Personnel Activities in a Selected Business

KRAUSOVÁ, Michaela January 2018 (has links)
The topic of this diploma thesis is Corporate Culture and Personnel Activities in a Selected Business. The aim of the thesis is to characterize the corporate culture with the help of specification of its crucial cultural dimensions in connection with the personal activities and proposing changes leading to the desired state in the selected business. The research was carried out at the company of an engineer Jan Hutkay. The thesis is divided into four main parts - literary research, aim and methodology of work, characteristics of the current state in the business and discussion, summarized evaluation and proposals for changes. Literary research is focused on explanation of important terms related to corporate culture and personnel activities. It is followed by the summarization of the aim of the work and the research methods. Quantitative research methods used in the work included the questionnaire survey in the form of the Personnel Activity Questionnaire and the VSM 94 a 2013 tests. Among the qualitative methods used for the purposes of the thesis belong observations, unstructured interviews and Color Semantic Differential Tests were used from qualitative methods. The current situation in the company was characterized by the analysis of the individual questionnaires, which was supplemented with the information obtained through interviews and observations. After a thorough analysis and interconnection of the results of all research methods, it has been found out that corporate culture tends to deserve the dimensions of low power distance, femininity, collectivism, and acceptance of risks and changes. The undesirable resultant dimensions include the short-term business orientation and the dimension of indulgence. The final part of the thesis focuses on designing measures that stabilize the desired cultural dimensions and, above all, change the undesirable cultural dimensions. The results of the personnel activities' questionnaire which identified the main shortcomings and problems were used to suggest specific changes. The introduction of the proposed changes directs the enterprise closer to the knowledge economy, which improves its performance and competitiveness.

Made available in DSpace on 2016-06-02T19:05:48Z (GMT). No. of bitstreams: 1 3430.pdf: 3741834 bytes, checksum: fd39305a07d141ce818b4cb84a5e5b23 (MD5) Previous issue date: 2010-08-27 / Universidade Federal de Sao Carlos / It is described in this Dissertation a computational tool named FamilySense, which aims to support the therapist to create contextualized games according to the profile of each family in therapy, in order to allow this family to identify and understand it the existing vocabulary. As a research contribution in the computering area, more specifically, describes the process model defined for the creation and design of FamilySense computational tool. This tool is inspired in a board game used primarily between members of the same family and / or the therapist in therapeutic sessions with families to allow their members to know each other. In this context, there was necessary identify the characteristics and elements of that game as well as the way it's played therefore he could be mapped to the computer. Using this process could be identified, and further on map, computational resources that could be aggregated to FamilySense, such as multimedia resources. Another contribution is the use of cultural knowledge expressed in the base of the Open Mind Common Sense project in Brazil to support the creation of the game and its content. The therapist as a coauthor, can use this cultural knowledge to create contextualized games according to the principle and therapeutic goal, for example, can identify possible problems in relationships between members of a family, to promote interaction between members of a family to identify possible issues to be worked out during therapy, etc.. Aiming to observe the use of this tool in a therapeutic environment and collect the opinions of the target group, case studies were conducted with therapists and families, reported in this research, to verify the feasibility of the proposal and its proof of concept.

Shaping school culture to transform education : an ethnographic study of New Technology high schools

Denton-Calabrese, Tracey January 2016 (has links)
There have been numerous calls for the radical transformation of public education in the United States. Reform initiatives are fuelled by the need to prepare students to meet the challenges of the networked knowledge society. This thesis examines the shaping of school culture within two public non-charter high schools, in different regions of the United States and with different socioeconomic characteristics, that are implementing the "New Technology" (or "New Tech") model of education: Pacific Coast High, a well-established New Tech school, and Midwest High, a school that recently transitioned to the model and is still in the process of culture change. This rapidly expanding school reform network includes 168 schools in the United States and 7 international sites in Australia. The New Tech Network, the organisation that provides training and support for these schools, explicitly emphasises the goal of changing the culture of education. They describe themselves as a network of schools that promotes a culture of trust, respect, and responsibility and uses project-based learning and "smart use" of technology to redefine teaching and learning. I employed an ethnographic multisite case study design to gain an understanding of the everyday experiences and practices of teachers, students and school leaders as they work through the process of implementing and maintaining the New Tech model. Fieldwork included six and a half months of participant observation of secondary classrooms, school meetings, professional development sessions, and New Tech training conferences as well as semi-structured interviews with teachers, students, and administrators. My analysis provides an understanding of the influence of local context, including historical background (local and national) and economic and political structures. The research findings indicate that a deliberate focus on 'culture-building', with particular values like trust, respect and responsibility, underpin and shape relationships, behaviours and educational practices, including the extensive use of ICTs. A multi-faceted approach to socialisation and enculturation, which includes extensive peer-to-peer support, is involved in inculcating values and shaping behaviours and practices. The New Tech model shifts the focus of education from a primarily individualist competitive endeavour (reflecting the broad cultural orientations of modern society in the United States) to a more collectivist approach, with students working in collaborative groups supported by the use of ICTs. Schools operate as learning communities with collaborative partnerships with the wider community. Pacific Coast High is an exemplar for the model in its fully implemented form, while Midwest High's transition to the model has been fraught with tensions as they navigate numerous context-specific challenges. I argue that real reform requires an intentional effort to change the culture of education and that pedagogy and culture have to necessitate the use of ICTs to more fully integrate them into the education process. I characterise the culture I observed in New Tech schools, particularly at Pacific Coast, as an 'ICT-facilitating school culture' with (1) a collaborative project-based focus and encouragement of students to communicate and find information themselves which pushes them to use ICTs, (2) a system of cultural values that, when internalised, operates as a means of social control, keeping students on task as they work independently and collaboratively, using ICTs, including social networking sites, and (3) an ideal classroom layout and technology infrastructure that facilitates the use of ICTs. I characterise the New Tech Network of schools as a revitalization movement, addressing the needs of a changing society by changing the culture of education.

建構開放性之企業知識管理系統--以行銷公司為例 / Constructing an open knowledge management system in the enterprise-Illustrated with marketing corporation

邵敏華, Shaw, Miin-Hwa Unknown Date (has links)
The advent of a knowledge age, the critical factors of a survival and successful business are knowledge sharing and derivative knowledge assets between individual and group in an open informational environment. Consequently, our research based on Porter's '" value chain model J and adapted his "linear" model for "network" knowledge sharing model. And then the adapted model integrated with Nonaka's 「organizational knowledge creating process」 to construct the 「knowledge value chain」 model of a business. So the model can express the dynamic relations of sharing and creating knowledge. For implanting the knowledge management mechanism in business operational activities, we proposed new analysis processes of an information system as a knowledge management system. The method analyzes organizational knowledge structure in a culture aspect as culture knowledge, and subsumes the aspect under information system analysis and design. According to the different level of the knowledge workers as cultural groupings, we proposed standard model objects as knowledge agents. Interalios, the three levels of agents represent different demands in different context groups. During constructing knowledge management system, we used object-oriented software engineering in system developing method, for example the use case model. Therefore, the knowledge management system contain two analysis dimensions. One is the knowledge agent which represents organizational knowledge management structure. The other is the object model which displays business daily operations. In our research process, we illustrated the knowledge management system prototype with the marketing corporation.

Řízení lidských zdrojů ve vybrané organizaci / Human resource management in the selected organization

POSPÍŠILOVÁ, Lenka January 2011 (has links)
The theme of my thesis was Human resource management in the selected organization. I chose the CSOB. In the theoretical part, I wrote about the important definitions associated with this topic. For example, human resource management, human resources, intellectual capital, human capital, knowledge organization, knowledge worker, culture, corporate culture, training and staff employees, the role of the HRM manager. The main objective was to evaluate human resource management with a focus on developing intellectual capital in a particular organization. Partial objectives was: characteristics of the selected company, its historical development, targeting and mapping of the human resources department, design and evaluation of the marketing research staff focused on the functionality of human resources in the organization, analysis of data and information, and an overall assessment of current approaches to managing human resources and intellectual capital to work with the selected organization and assessment of current situation and possibilities for improvement and formulation of its own proposals and measures in the field of human resources. The practical part of my work I have a stock of internal materials the HRM system in CSOB, I conducted market research among employees. Next, I evaluated the results of marketing research and presented in the form of tables and graphs. The data analysis revealed that employees are most satisfied with the HRM system, I see only a lack of communication and access management company. Solution is open communication and improved access to management start.
