Automatické generování testovacích dat informačních systémů / Automatic Test Input Generation for Information Systems

Naňo, Andrej January 2021 (has links)
ISAGENis a tool for the automatic generation of structurally complex test inputs that imitate real communication in the context of modern information systems . Complex, typically tree-structured data currently represents the standard means of transmitting information between nodes in distributed information systems. Automatic generator ISAGENis founded on the methodology of data-driven testing and uses concrete data from the production environment as the primary characteristic and specification that guides the generation of new similar data for test cases satisfying given combinatorial adequacy criteria. The main contribution of this thesis is a comprehensive proposal of automated data generation techniques together with an implementation, which demonstrates their usage. The created solution enables testers to create more relevant testing data, representing production-like communication in information systems.

Master Data Integration hub - řešení pro konsolidaci referenčních dat v podniku / Master Data Integration hub - solution for company-wide consolidation of referrential data

Bartoš, Jan January 2011 (has links)
In current information systems the requirement to integrate disparate applications into cohesive package is greatly accented. While well-established technologies facilitating functional and comunicational integration (ESB, message brokes, web services) already exist, tools and methodologies for continuous integration of disparate data sources on enterprise-wide level are still in development. Master Data Management (MDM) is a major approach in the area of data integration and referrential data management in particular. It encompasses the referrential data integration, data quality management and referrential data consolidation, metadata management, master data ownership, principle of accountability for master data and processes related to referrential data management. Thesis is focused on technological aspects of MDM implementation realized via introduction of centrallized repository for master data -- Master Data Integration Hub (MDI Hub). MDI Hub is an application which enables the integration and consolidation of referrential data stored in disparate systems and applications based on predefined workflows. It also handles the master data propagation back to source systems and provides services like dictionaries management and data quality monitoring. Thesis objective is to cover design and implementation aspects of MDI Hub, which forms the application part of MDM. In introduction the motivation for referrential data consolidation is discussed and list of techniques used in MDI Hub solution development is presented. The main part of thesis proposes the design of MDI Hub referrential architecture and suggests the activities performed in process of MDI Hub implementation. Thesis is based on information gained from specialized publications, on knowledge gathererd by delivering projects with companies Adastra and Ataccama and on co-workers know-how and experience. Most important contribution of thesis is comprehensive view on MDI Hub design and MDI Hub referrential architecture proposal. MDI Hub referrential architecture can serve as basis for particular MDI Hub implementation.

Zpracování asociačních pravidel metodou vícekriteriálního shlukování / Post-processing of association rules by multicriterial clustering method

Kejkula, Martin January 2002 (has links)
Association rules mining is one of several ways of knowledge discovery in databases. Paradoxically, data mining itself can produce such great amounts of association rules that there is a new knowledge management problem: there can easily be thousands or even more association rules holding in a data set. The goal of this work is to design a new method for association rules post-processing. The method should be software and domain independent. The output of the new method should be structured description of the whole set of discovered association rules. The output should help user to work with discovered rules. The path to reach the goal I used is: to split association rules into clusters. Each cluster should contain rules, which are more similar each other than to rules from another cluster. The output of the method is such cluster definition and description. The main contribution of this Ph.D. thesis is the described new Multicriterial clustering association rules method. Secondary contribution is the discussion of already published association rules post-processing methods. The output of the introduced new method are clusters of rules, which cannot be reached by any of former post-processing methods. According user expectations clusters are more relevant and more effective than any former association rules clustering results. The method is based on two orthogonal clustering of the same set of association rules. One clustering is based on interestingness measures (confidence, support, interest, etc.). Second clustering is inspired by document clustering in information retrieval. The representation of rules in vectors like documents is fontal in this thesis. The thesis is organized as follows. Chapter 2 identify the role of association rules in the KDD (knowledge discovery in databases) process, using KDD methodologies (CRISP-DM, SEMMA, GUHA, RAMSYS). Chapter 3 define association rule and introduce characteristics of association rules (including interestingness measuress). Chapter 4 introduce current association rules post-processing methods. Chapter 5 is the introduction to cluster analysis. Chapter 6 is the description of the new Multicriterial clustering association rules method. Chapter 7 consists of several experiments. Chapter 8 discuss possibilities of usage and development of the new method.

The impact of serotonergic and dopaminergic genetic variation on endophenotypes of emotional processing

Armbruster, Diana 29 December 2010 (has links) (PDF)
Decades of research in quantitative genetics have found substantial heritability for personality traits as well as for mental disorders which formed the basis of the ongoing molecular genetic studies that aim to identify genetic variations that actually contribute to the manifestation of complex traits. With regard to psychological traits, genetic variation impacting neurotransmitter function have been of particular interest. Additionally, the role of environmental factors including gene × environment interactions has been further investigated and the impor-tance of developmental aspects has been stressed. Furthermore, endophenotypes which link complex traits with their respective biological underpinnings and thus bridge the gap between gene and behaviour have begun to be included in research efforts. In accordance with this approach, this thesis aims to further examine the influence of genetic variation impacting serotonergic and dopaminergic functioning on endophenotypes of anxiety-related behaviour. To this end, two well established paradigms – the acoustic startle reflex and the cortisol stress response – were employed. Both show considerable interindividual variation which has been found in quantitative genetic studies to be at least partly based on genetic factors. In addition, the neural circuits underlying these endophenotypes are relatively well understood and thus reveal references for the detection of associated genetic influences. The results of this thesis associate the overall startle magnitude in two independent samples of young adults with a polymorphism in the promoter region of the serotonin transporter (5-HTT) gene (5-HTTLPR): Carriers of the short (S) allele which results in a reduced gene ex-pression showed a stronger startle magnitude which is in line with numerous findings linking the S allele to increased measures of negative emotionality. In addition to 5-HTTLPR, the effects of past stressful life events on the startle response were investigated: Participants who had recently experienced at least one stressful life event exhibited stronger startle responses and reduced habituation of the startle reflex although there was no 5-HTTLPR × environment inter-action effect. A third study revealed independent and joint effects of 5-HTTLPR and a poly-morphism in the dopamine receptor 4 gene (DRD4) in the same sample of young adults with regard to the cortisol stress response with carriers of the DRD4 7R allele which has been associ-ated with higher scores in sensation seeking, showing reduced cortisol responses. In addition, a 5-HTTLPR × DRD4 interaction effect emerged: 5-HTTLPR long (L) allele carriers showed the lowest cortisol response but only when they possessed at least one copy of the DRD4 7R allele. Moreover, in a fourth study a life span approach was taken and the influence of a further important serotonergic polymorphism which impacts the functioning of tryptophan hydroxylase 2 (TPH2), the rate limiting enzyme in the biosynthesis of serotonin, on interindividual differences in the startle response was investigated in three different age samples: children, young adults and older adults. There was a sex × TPH2 genotype interaction effect in a sample of young adults on the overall startle response while there was no effect of TPH2 in children or older adults. The last study of this thesis presents findings regarding the influence of two dopaminergic polymorphisms in genes encoding the enzyme catechol-O-methyltransferase (COMT) and the dopamine transporter (DAT), respectively, which both terminate dopamine signalling and are thus important regulators of dopaminergic neurotransmission, on the startle reflex in older adults. COMT met/met homozygotes showed the strongest and val/val homozygotes displayed the smallest startle magnitude which is in line with findings linking the COMT met allele to increased scores of anxiety related traits and disorders. Regarding DAT, participants homozygous for the 10R allele, which had previously associated with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, showed a stronger overall startle response. In sum, this thesis comprises data on interindividual differences in an electrophysiological and a hormonal endophenotype across the life span and their association with serotonergic and dopaminergic function based on genetic variation. One major finding is the clear evidence for the influence of serotonergic polymorphisms on the startle response in young adults while in contrast in older adults genetic variation in the dopaminergic system exerted considerable influence. These differences might be due to developmental processes in the different stages of life although cohort effects and effects of different recruitment strategies can also not be ruled out. Furthermore, there were significant differences regarding the genetic influence on the acoustic startle reflex and cortisol stress response in one and the same sample which might be due to methodological differences of the two paradigms as well as differences in their underlying neuronal circuits. In conclusion, this thesis supports the acoustic startle reflex and the cortisol stress response as valuable endophenotypes and thus indicators for underlying neurobiological circuits although some methodological issues remain. It also highlights the importance of taking developmental factors and changes over the course of life into account. Finally, this thesis emphasizes the necessity to include reliably and validly assessed past experienced events in molecular genetic studies in order to understand the interplay between genetic and environmental factors in shaping (endo)-phenotypes.

IT-forensisk analys av Windows 8

Kellgren, Christelle, Fransén, Martin January 2013 (has links)

Síťové výzkumné aktivity v rámci školní výuky tabulkových procesorů / Network investigative activities in school instruction of spreadsheets

ŠIMANDL, Václav January 2011 (has links)
The work is concerned with preparing exercises for the teaching of bulk data processing in the environment of a spreadsheet program. The exercises can be used in the lessons of ICT in the upper stage of the elementary school and in secondary schools. Presently a lot of exercises exist. These exercises are based on obsolete or uninteresting data or directly on artificial data. On the contrary there are few exercises which are based on up to date data or on data which the students entered. In the work there is an emphasis on the importance of creating exercises which are based on up to date data which is freely accessible on the Internet. For example geographical, economic or meteorological data. A software application which can download this data and transfer it into a suited format for further use in a spreadsheet program is a part of the work. We can note the benefit of using exercises, where data has been entered by the students of the class. A part of the work is a software solution which makes a survey possible for the teacher. The students answer the questions in the survey via a form. These answers are worked up into a table for further use in the lessons. An important part of the work is a set of methodical sheets. These sheets contain topics for exercises, which are specialized in bulk data processing. They show acceptable elaboration of downloaded or measured data and possible interpretation of the results. The main objective of the work is to show how and where to get up to date and attractive data for the teaching of bulk data processing and how to use it. The software and the methodical sheets should contribute to this.

Otevřená data veřejné správy / Open Government Data

Kučera, Jan January 2010 (has links)
This Ph.D. thesis deals with Open Government Data and the methodology for publication of this kind of data. Public sector bodies hold a significant amount of data that can be reused in innovative way leading to development of new products and services. According to the Open Knowledge Foundation "Open data is data that can be freely used, re-used and redistributed by anyone - subject only, at most, to the requirement to attribute and sharealike." Publication and reuse of Open Government Data can lead to benefits such as increased economic growth. State, society as well as the public sector bodies themselves can benefit from Open Government Data. However the public sector bodies currently face a number of problems and issues when publishing Open Government Data, e.g. regular updates of the published datasets are not always ensured. Different public sector bodies apply different approaches to publication of Open Government Data. The main goal of this thesis is to design the Open Government Data Publication Methodology which should address current problems related to the publication of Open Government Data.
