Ce mémoire présente une exploration décoloniale et transdisciplinaire des doctrines et pratiques de la confrérie soufie transnationale Burhaniya, dans le monde arabe et en Occident. Il traite principalement de la période s’étendant de la fondation de la confrérie en 1938 jusqu’en 2012. Pour bien contextualiser les particularités de l’émergence de cette confrérie moderne, ce mémoire présente tout d’abord son ancrage historique par l’étude de ses racines en lien avec l’histoire du soufisme en Afrique du Nord et en Asie de l’Ouest. Puis, ce mémoire offre une analyse comparative de certains des principaux contextes nationaux où s’est disséminée cette confrérie, à partir du Soudan, vers l’Égypte, la France, l’Allemagne, les États-Unis et le Canada. Suite à ses recherches, l’auteur conclut que les cheikhs de la Burhaniya ont facilité l’expansion de la confrérie en occident et ont perpétué un héritage soufi plutôt traditionnel au sein du monde moderne. Ils ont su le faire en préservant les doctrines fondamentales de leur tradition tout en adaptant leurs pratiques à divers contextes. / This thesis presents a decolonial and transdisciplinary examination of the doctrines and practices of the transnational Burhaniya Sufi order, in the Arab World and in the West. The main time period under consideration is from the foundation of the order in 1938 until 2012. In order to contextualize the particularities of this modern order’s emergence, this thesis begins by presenting its historical roots related to the history of Sufism in North Africa and West Asia. Then, the thesis offers a comparative analysis of certain national contexts in which the order was disseminated, from Sudan to Egypt, France, Germany, the United States, and Canada. The author concludes from his findings that the sheikhs of the Burhaniya have facilitated the expansion of their order in the West, and perpetuated a fairly traditional Sufi heritage in the modern world. They have done so by combining strong commitment to core doctrines and adaptability to contexts of practice.

The aim of the diploma thesis is analysis of the Czechoslovak newsreel of 1961. In the quantitative method, reports are sorted by the codebook into thematic groups. There are following variables: soft x hard news; domestic x foreign news; culture x politics x economy x sport x disaster x rest. As a result of this method we can find out which news were preferred (agenda-setting) and bated (gate-keeping). In the qualitative method author is analysing foreign reports chosen by quantitative method. Banking the unbanked: Financial inclusion and economic sustainable development for women? : Decolonial perspectives on the gendered migration-remittances-development nexusKälloff, Heidi January 2020 (has links)
Over the last decade, a new trend of Global Remittances has emerged within the international development community, especially a growing interest in women’s migration and remittances, and their potential for poverty reduction and economic growth. Due to the staggering amount of transnational money transfers, migrant remittances have become a central component in multilateral discussions on alternative development financing, and has been included in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The present study thus explores the multiple ways in which this gendered migration-remittance-development nexus has come to play out the recent years, seeking to understand how the “banking the unbanked” logic along with microfinance profit-making agendas serves neoliberal governmental and infrastructural discursive formations of transnational migration and its development impact. By using a decolonial approach, the study uses critical discourse analysis to scrutinize selected multilateral actors’ policy documents to explore in what ways migrant women’s “financial inclusion, independence and economic empowerment” have been included in the goals and targets within the 2030 Agenda. The main finding is that the rights-based approach towards migrants in the sustainability discourse rather tends to dismantle migrant agency into monetary practices which have come to be an important means for the financialization of migrant and non-migrant communities as well as for the transmittance of western knowledge doctrines, and in turn, are to prolong regimes of “modern slavery.”

[pt] Esta dissertação se propõe a trabalhar a forma como o resgate histórico é
capaz de referenciar uma compreensão do encontro entre raça e classe no interior
do sindicalismo indígena boliviano da segunda metade do século XX. Partindo de
uma crítica à qualificação sócio-política da indigeneidade como uma atualização
particular da luta de classes no país, o trabalho busca abordar a mediação entre o
reconhecimento da diferença, em uma mão, com a afirmação ou reivindicação de
um espaço de igualdade, na outra, para entender o complexo processo de negociação
que balizou a integração e o reconhecimento político do indígena boliviano,
desde a ofensiva latifundiária de meados do século XIX até após a revolução de
1952. A preocupação com sua subjetivação histórica, nesse sentido, intercruza dois
processos fundamentais: o regime de suplementação que possibilita a aparência de
fechamento significativo e as mediações representativas que condicionam sua visibilidade
e possibilidade de ser ouvido. Assim, a partir de uma sobreposição narrativa,
propõe-se explorar as liminariedades das categorias analíticas capazes de revelar,
em seus traços, formas imiscíveis de ser e agir no interior da comunidade
política que possibilitam solidariedades supranumerárias e irredutíveis a uma esquematização
cumulativa de enfrentamento da desigualdade por parte de movimentos
sociais. / [en] This dissertation aims to discuss the way historical recollection serves as a
point of reference to comprehend the encounter, in the second half of the 20th century, between race and class inside the Bolivian indigenous labour movement. Starting from a criticism of the social-political understanding of indigeneity as a particular form of actualization of class struggle in the country, this study discusses the mediation between the reckoning of difference, in one hand, with the assertion or vindication of equality, on the other, as a manner to understand the complex negotiation that fundaments the integration and political recognition of the Bolivian indian, from the estate expansion in mid-19th century to the period that follow the 1952 revolution. Focusing on their historical subjectification, in this sense, overlaps two underlying processes: the supplementary regime that makes possible the appearance of a signifying totality and the representational mediations that condition their ability to be seen and heard. Therefore, through a narrative juxtaposition, it is proposed to explore the liminalities of analytical categories as a way to reveal, in its traces, immiscible forms of being and acting inside a political community that makes possible supernumerary forms of solidarity, irreducible to the schematization of a cumulative confrontation of social movements with inequality.
