O objeto artístico desta dissertação é o romance A caverna do escritor português José Saramago. Os caminhos teóricos que vão construir um método adequado para uma visão aprofundada desta narrativa são os do estudo das teorias que veem a literatura como uma junção de texto e contexto, que entendem os elementos sócio-históricos em uma relação de interpenetração com o texto literário, de forma que esses elementos externos transmutem-se em elementos internos à obra (ou seja, em elementos estéticos). A construção de um método dialético foca-se principalmente nos textos de teóricos como Theodor Adorno, Raymond Williams e Fredric Jameson. Após o estudo das teorias dialéticas, objetiva-se proceder com a análise do romance de Saramago, sempre relacionando obra e contexto. Considerando que o contexto da obra em questão refere-se – como se defende neste trabalho – a um período pós-moderno de nossa história, a pesquisa, então, concentra-se no estudo do elemento social objetivando um entendimento da sociedade pós-moderna, para, logo após, de forma imanente, fazer uma leitura possível da obra saramaguiana centrada em dois elementos: o do mapeamento do pós-moderno e o da crítica à lógica do capitalismo. As pesquisas sobre o pós-modernismo centram-se essencialmente nas teses de David Harvey e de Fredric Jameson. / The artistic object of this dissertation is the novel “The Cave” by José Saramago. The theoretical roads responsible for building a proper method to reach a deeper view of this narrative are related with theories that see literature in connection with its social context; theories that understand the social historical elements in relation with the literary object in a way in which these outside elements transmute into inner ones in the work (in other words, aesthetic elements). The building of a dialectical method focuses mainly on the works of Theodor Adorno, Raymond Williams and Fredric Jameson. After the study of these theories, this work intends to analyze Saramago’s novel, always looking into the relation between art and society. Taking into account that the novel’s context refers – as I propose in this work – to a post-modernist period of our history, my research, then, focuses on the study of the social element looking for an understanding of post-modern society, focused on two elements: the description of post-modernism and the criticism towards capitalistic logic. The researches about post-modernism are essentially based on the thesis of David Harvey and Fredric Jameson.

A long discussed thematic on the Marxist literature, the method of abstraction is of fundamental importance for comprehending the dialectics on his critique of the political economy. To establish the position the abstraction aquires in the arquitetonic of The Capital, we elaborated a dialogue with the Hegelian logic as it appears on his Encyclopedia of the Philosophical Sciences. By this, we pursued to solve our problematic with a conjunctural analysis of the dialectical passages: abstract-concrete, essence-apearence, possibility-efectivity as it apears on Hegel. On this reading key, we scrutinized the main categories Marx offers us on the Third Book of The Capital, weaving its dialectical unity with the two former books of the same work. This done, we seek to defend the thesis that the abstraction consists on positioning the logical conditions of possibility in the categorial development of The Capital, remaking the system's internal determinacional movement in its concrete reality. / Mestrado / Filosofia / Mestre em Filosofia

Este trabalho analisa como a ideia de exclusão e inclusão é apresentada em programas de televisão. Por meio uma observação sistemática de certas práticas constituintes do modo de fazer televisivo, incluindo os relatos jornalísticos, o presente estudo atenta para as abordagens em que o tema da inclusão/exclusão surge em meio a discurso e práticas naturalizadores. Por meio da aproximação dos campos da Análise do Discurso de linha francesa, da Psicologia Social e da Sociologia, discute-se a construção de visibilidades de sujeitos inscritos sob a rubrica da exclusão. Assim, a partir da hipótese de que os chamados excluídos já estão incluídos de uma maneira instrumental na arena pública de uma sociedade espetacular, este estudo apresenta como os efeitos discursivos incluindo as cenas de enunciação de alguns produtos audiovisuais provocam assujeitamentos e reforçam estigmas e desigualdades por meio de posições-de-sujeito já naturalizadas no campo social. / This work analyses how the idea of social exclusion/inclusion has been showed in different television programmes. By looking systematically at its ordinary practices that include the ways the media and journalism are produced, we attempt to verify the approach of the theme through a kind of naturalizing discourse as well as the way these discourses reinforce stigmas. The approach of some fields such as French Discourse Analysis, Social Psychology and Sociology, allows discussing the construction of the identity and the social belongings of people under the exclusion rubric. Therefore, considering the hypothesis that the underclass are already instrumentally included in the public arena of a spectacular society, this research comprehends the manner the discourses effects including the scenes of enunciation - of some audiovisual products provoke subjections and highlight social differences as a natural issue through the positions already naturalized in the social field.

The objective is justified by the fact whereof, although the number of studies about the proudhonian thoughs in sociology, economy and politics, the studies upon the philosophy of Proudhon, until now, are very poor. Until now, this author is almost unknown in the philosophical researches. The objective is justified, moreover, because his philosophy offers a way to establish a better dialogue and interaction among the philosophical theories and the popular thinking, applied to the social and diary-life questions. The pointed problem brings forward the discussions that Proudhon establish with known philosophies, and clearly localize, to the philosophers and academical searchers, his place in this particular area of knowledge. Focused in Proudhon s theory, the pointed problem offers, as a natural complement, a landscape of the political-philosophical confrontations at the XIXth century, about the destiny and the ways of human thinking, at the cross-roads of the alternatives offered by philosophy, religion and science. The examined hypothesis is that the way found by Proudhon to respond the focused problem, is a coherent and fruitful combination of relativism and skepticism, in an universal method to evaluate and develop knowledges. The Proudhon s theory is named by him Serial Theory , and his method, Serial Dialetics . This explanation, consequently, will show how relativism and skepticism are combined by Proudhon at the construction of this method and this theory, to offer a replay to the focused philosophical problem / O objetivo desta pesquisa é examinar o modo como o método e a teoria do conhecimento de Pierre-Joseph Proudhon (1808-1865), pensador multi-disciplinar e fundador teórico do anarquismo político, respondem ao importante problema filosófico da construção de conhecimentos objetivos em face das dificuldades que se impõem a esse conhecimento devido à contaminação do saber filosófico por filtros de abordagem personalizados. O objetivo se justifica pelo fato de que, embora se tenha um conhecimento razoável de sua sociologia , de sua economia e de seus princípios políticos, os estudos sobre a filosofia de Proudhon são ainda muito pobres, visto que o autor não tem despertado a atenção de pesquisadores dessa área. Justifica-se também porque sua filosofia oferece um caminho para o maior diálogo e interação entre as teorias filosóficas e o pensamento popular, voltado para questões que a vida diária e o convívio social lhe sugerem. O problema focalizado traz à tona o debate de Proudhon com filosofias conhecidas, e o situa no centro de discussões com as quais os estudiosos de Filosofia já estão bem familiarizados, oferecendo também, em sua esteira, um panorama dos confrontos político-filosóficos no século XIX em torno da questão do destino e dos rumos do pensamento humano, em face da religião, da filosofia e da ciência como alternativas. A hipótese examinada é a de que, diante do problema da construção de conhecimentos objetivos em face dos filtros de abordagem personalizados da filosofia, Proudhon oferece como resposta um método universal para a avaliação e o desenvolvimento dos conhecimentos, que segue por um lado o caminho do ceticismo, e por outro o do relativismo, combinando as duas tendências de maneira coerente e frutífera. Proudhon chama sua teoria do conhecimento de Teoria Serial , e seu método, de Dialética Serial . Esta pesquisa, portanto, deve revelar o modo como o relativismo e o ceticismo se combinam, na construção desse método e dessa teoria do conhecimento, de maneira a oferecer uma resposta, a resposta proudhoniana, ao mencionado problema

Following Jung s approach to analytical psychology according to whom the unconscious is the great mother of consciousness I have attempted to interpret a number of dreams I had while writing my PhD thesis, endeavoring to uncover the so-called expansion of consciousness. In this essay I intend to synthesize the conscious-unconscious dialectics through the tentative interpretation of the symbols in my dreams. I am looking at the expansion of consciousness as a theme of studies on its own. This is a fundamental topic of studies in teachers education, connected with the expansion of consciousness in the realm of the unknown, or the unconscious. The proposal of consciousness expansion through one dream attempts primarily to reveal some aspects of Hegel s dialectic philosophy, an invaluable reference in educational literature, unfortunately ignored by most educators. Another dream has also contributed to develop my theoretical and methodological options in the realm of consciousness expansion. The analysis of a set of dreams helps to expand the understanding and meaningfulness of this theme of studies, not only in personal terms, but also in teaching practice. This study imbricates an interdisciplinary approach to education, Jung s search for the self, and consciousness expansion. / Esta tese busca compreender o sentido e o significado de uma expansão da consciência através do inconsciente e da metodologia interdisciplinar da educação. A partir da abordagem da psicologia analítica de Jung, que considera que o inconsciente é a grande mãe da consciência, a pesquisadora procura interpretar alguns sonhos que teve durante a realização dessa tese, no intuito de desvendar o que chama de expansão de consciência. Portanto, esse estudo pretende ser uma síntese da dialética consciente-inconsciente vivenciada pela pesquisadora, através da tentativa de interpretação dos símbolos presentes nos sonhos, tendo como objetivo a própria temática da expansão da consciência. Um tema considerado fundamental para a pesquisadora, que leciona em uma Faculdade de Formação de Professores e se preocupa com a formação humana num sentido mais amplo, de expandir consciências em relação a tudo que seja percebido como desconhecido, como inconsciente. Num primeiro momento, esta expansão de consciência, através de um sonho, procura desvendar alguns aspectos da filosofia dialética de Hegel, pois esta filosofia foi percebida como pouco conhecida e valorizada pelos educadores e pela própria pesquisadora, embora tenha influenciado bastante a literatura educacional. Um outro sonho também contribui para a expansão da consciência da pesquisadora em relação a sua opção teórico-metodológica. E a análise de mais um conjunto de sonhos favorece que esse tema adquira sentido e significado para a pesquisadora e para a sua atuação como docente. A perspectiva interdisciplinar da educação; a busca do si-mesmo, na teoria junguiana; e a questão da expansão da consciência, são percebidos como caminhos intimamente inter-relacionados nesse estudo.
