Implementation of nut piercing from below in a stamping die : A case study at Volvo Car Body Components / Implementering av mutterstansning underifrån i ett pressverktyg : En fallstudie på Volvo Car Body ComponentsHåkansson, Maja January 2021 (has links)
In today's car industries, low investment costs and high production rates are sought. By using nut piercing in the stamping dies in the manufacture of body components, otherwise necessary subsequent tempos can be reduced. The goal of the work was to implement nut piercing from below in a reference die to be able to use this type of operation in future projects. The main problem when implementing nut piercing from below is to be able to handle and evacuate the scrap piece that remains after the punching. By studying the equipment in the reference die, a deeper understanding of the process could be obtained, at the same time as information and necessary material were collected by expertise and the case company's suppliers for nut piercing. The recommendation to the case company provides a solution proposal for scrap evacuation as well as the components involved to be able to carry out the operation.

Šveicarijos ir Lietuvos tarnyba / Public service of Switzerland and Lithuania / Die öffentliche Verwaltung in der Schweiz und in LitauenBalionytė, Laura 29 January 2008 (has links)
The public service of Switzerland is evaluated as one of the most developed in the world. It was here where new public management (NPM) innovations were given the start. The public service of Switzerland is characteristic for its distinction, which was determined by direct democracy, federalism and consensual democracy. The public service system itself is rather complicated, as it is regulated by legal acts of various levels – they are separately applied to civil servants, depending on where they perform their service – at a federation or canton level. Public service in Switzerland is prominent for its attention to human resources, various motivation and incentive methods, as well as the implementation of different working hours forms, thus ensuring appropriate „work-life“ balance for public servants.
This work also analyses the public service in Bern canton, as this canton was one of the pioneers which started to apply NPM methods as well as reform the public service.
Compared to Switzerland, the public service in Lithuania is very young and does not possess such long traditions. It is constantly developed by adopting legal acts and their amendments.
The paper investigates one of the most relevant problems in Lithuania, as well as in the vast majority of other countries – how to attract and...

The scrip involves a literature study to determine how the covenant child / teenager is accommodated in the Reformed church today versus his/her actual need. The question is posed: Is the covenant child accommodated in any way in our current format of church liturgy, or not? Globalisation has made such an impact on the youth of today (postmodern youth or Mosaics) that digital technology has become their focus. Has the church adapted to this? The findings in this script show that the Reformed churches are losing particularly the youth because they have not adapted fast enough to this technology and to the cultural change that is evident in the postmodern child / teenager. The study is not only about the child in the church, but what the child looks like (his / her postmodern attitude / lifestyle) that we want in the church service and what change we need to make to the liturgy of the Reformed church in order to accommodate them. During this study it was also very evident that we need to change the way in which we spread the Word, and not the Word itself. The Truth remains the same – the culture, technology, attitudes, communication methods and intellectual and emotional needs change constantly. And the change is happening at such an alarming rate that we cannot ever think that we have reached the perfect solution. Before we have found the answer, it has changed. We therefore need to constantly re-look at our presentation style. This however does not excuse us from making changes. We need to change with the times and much faster than is currently the norm. The study reveals that the Reformed church currently has a mono-perspective of the liturgy. What is needed is a multi-disciplinary approach when we worship God. It is not only about the child in the church, it is about the place of the church service in the child’s life amidst the enormous impact of culture and digital technology that they are faced with everyday. How can we attempt to be relevant if we still preach as we did 100 years ago? Although the majority of the information that is available on this subject comes from America, the writer believes that it is very relevant to the Reformed churches in South Africa. Further study and research will be needed to determine the exact needs of the South African child / teenager and how to address this. / Dissertation (MA (Theology))--University of Pretoria, 2006. / Practical Theology / unrestricted

The doctrine of separability in respect of the arbitration clause of a contract :|ba comparative study of English law and South African law / Anthony Lehlohonolo DiteduDitedu, Anthony Lehlohonolo January 2014 (has links)
Most jurisdictions have over the past two decades experienced reforms with regard to arbitration law. These include England, America, France, Germany and the Netherlands. These reforms were necessary as the trend in the modern era shows that businessmen situated in different countries usually prefer to have their disputes resolved by arbitration as opposed to court litigation. To have disputes resolved effectively, it is surely a desirable thing to have laws that would promote the use of arbitration as an alternative dispute resolution. This would also ensure progressive international trade which is an important aspect of development in the South African constitutional state.
One aspect of the law that would ensure a speedy and effective resolution of dispute by means of arbitration is the incorporation of the doctrine of separability in a country's law. The doctrine of separability provides that an arbitration agreement is a separate and independent contract from the main contract in which it is incorporated. In light of the above, the primary purpose of this study is to compare and analyse the English legal system with that of South Africa with specific focus on the doctrine of separability. / LLM (Import and Export Law), North-West University, Potchefstroom Campus, 2014

Die benutting van die lewensboek binne spelterapie ten opsigte van selfblaam by die middelkinderjarige dogter in die kinderhuis (Afrikaans)Nel, Carmen 04 October 2005 (has links)
The research dealt with three girls in middle childhood years, in a children’s home, who were experiencing difficulties with self-blame. These difficulties were addressed through play therapy sessions using the ‘gestalt’ approach with the life story book as an aid. The motivation for the study originated during discussions with the social workers at the Abraham Kriel/Maria Kloppers Children’s Home. During these discussions the researcher became aware of the vast number of children in the caseloads of the social workers at Abraham Kriel/Maria Kloppers Children’s Home, who blame themselves for being removed from their parents’ custody. The purpose of the study was to determine whether the life story book could be used as an aid in play therapy sessions focussing on the self-blame of girls in middle childhood years, living in a children’s home. To achieve the goal of this study, a literature study was done regarding the middle childhood years, self-blame, the child in a children’s home and the use of the life story book in play therapy. An empirical study was conducted on the use of the life story book regarding the self-blame of three girls in the middle childhood years, living in a children’s home. Finally the researcher made conclusions and recommendations regarding the use of the life story book, after taking into consideration both the literature study and the empirical study. The investigation was based on applied research. For the purpose of this study, three girls in middle childhood years living in a children’s home were identified by means of purposive sampling. The girls participated in six play therapy sessions each. From this empirical research, it was clear that the life story book could be successfully used in play therapy, focussing on self-blame, with the three girls in middle childhood years living in a children’s home. As an outcome of this study, conclusions and recommendations were formulated. / Dissertation (MSD (Play Therapy))--University of Pretoria, 2006. / Social Work / unrestricted

The french translations of Mozart's Entführung aus dem Serail and Zauberflöte performed in Paris between 1798 and 1954Obert, Julie 24 September 2013 (has links)
The two German operas of Mozart, Die Entführung aus dem Serail and Die Zauberflöte were performed primarily in French from the end of the 18th century until the middle of the 20th century. Cultural conventions and market conditions required that the libretti of German operas be translated into French. In consequence, translation was a vital element in the diffusion of Mozart’s operatic corpus in France. This dissertation is the first to focus on all four sequential translations of Die Entführung aus dem Serail and the five of Die Zauberflöte, performed in Paris between 1798 and 1954. Based on a number of unpublished manuscripts and unknown publications, this scholarly study of the process of translation discloses the transformations of the original works into new versions of Mozart’s operas, not only in the libretti but also in the music. What matters most is to understand how these translations were made and how they evolved over time, as well as exploring the way translators approached the particular difficulties presented by the need to translate texts meant to be sung. What we see is not only a set of changes in the nature of translations, but also a shift in the professional and popular understanding of what constitutes a work of art. Translation both transmitted and framed the meanings of Mozart’s operas at the same time as they made them available to the French musical world. In this context we can see how fruitful it is to braid together musicological research and the insights of literary scholarship in German studies.

PhD (Afrikaans and Dutch), North-West University, Potchefstroom Campus, 2015
