No. of bitstreams: 1 Dulce Margareth Boarini.pdf: 3647327 bytes, checksum: 1be1a251fcc930f8a5aa1928ac1b42fd (MD5) Previous issue date: 2016-06-23 / Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPES / The advent of internet caused a revolution in the way of how people relates on our society. Social media consolidation on the digital environment increased the power of changes and obligated communication professionals to review paradigms. The way of working, thinking and planning has changed because of immediacy and speed of information spreading in a symmetric two-way street process – between the sender and receiver. This work brings a research with communication professionals and analyze how timing was impacted on long-term planning process – traditionally annual – for campaigns and public relations on digital environmental. The research is based on academic references from communication, marketing, social media, technology, administration disciplines and additionally articles from research institutes and companies. In order to describe experiences lived by the communication professionals, we decided on qualitative research using profound interview technique with non-probabilistic sampling focused on marketing and public relations disciplines. The results point to an ongoing learning, day by day, from mistakes and successes, making professionals divide their concerns between the period of advance needed for the planning process and the need for its continuous reviewing / O advento da internet causou uma revolução na forma como a sociedade se relaciona.

Carvalho, Luciana Menezes 17 March 2010 (has links)
Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / This thesis has as context the institutional legitimation crisis that occurs in our society and affects the mediating role of journalism informative, maximized by the interactive practices of digital social media, with their abilities for participation, sharing and decentralized distribution of messages by public. This logic is opposed to the broadcast model of mass media that mark the process of journalism legitimacy. The research problem asks: what strategies of institutional legitimacy emerge in the contents of messages postedby the newspaper Zero Hora on Twitter? The overall goal is to understand the strategies used by journalism in order to gain institutional legitimacy through the use of digital social media. The specific objectives are: to recognize the institutional uses of Twitter for Zero Hora, identifying the emerging strategies of institutional legitimacy for the posts of Zero Hora on Twitter, watch as Zero Hora develops its mediation role in the informational use of Twitter as social media, analyze the relationship between the mediating role of journalism and the characteristics of digital social media disintermediation. The Hybrid methodology is qualitative, using content analysis (CA), semi-structured interviews and participant observation in the writing of Zero Hora. The Content Analysis (CA) was performed in two corpora relating to news coverage carried out by Zero Hora with a one year interval between them. The results of the CA was crossed with data from participant observation and interviews, relating to the theoretical analysis. The main uses of Twitter found relate to the categories of information dissemination, participation, sharing and conversation, making to emerge strategies of institutional legitimacy by journalism. The analysis indicates for continuities and ruptures in the process of legitimation by journalism on the passage of the emission centered logic of mass media for decentralized and interactive logic by digital social media. Comparing the two corpora analysis was possible to observe a transformation in the mediating role of the news organization's Twitter, with a growing ownership of the possibilities of digital social media participation, in which the public is increasingly included.

Formation et pratiques documentaires numériques dans les bibliothèques universitaires en France / Training and practices digital documentaries in universitary libraries in France

Tassius, Denise 05 December 2014 (has links)
With the advent of information technology, the information explosion and the resurgence of media changed the practices of users of libraries that use more digital and new communication tools. These developments within the University training interrogate us on the issue that may represent the documentary training in the needs and expectations of users for a better use of the information. Our research says around digital social media that punctuate the lives of students and which raise questions on their impacts in access to academic literature. Observed that skills to master by users are still obscured in conventional formations proposed in academic libraries that are necessary to produce a better reception of documentary and informational knowledge to interact a consumerist confinement of information. Based on a methodology with exploratory talks to a questionnaire with information, communication and documentation professionals, our study shows that this is in digital convergence that a change may occur among students. This convergence is part of formations that are moving towards digital cultures combining both education media declining the critical spirit, centered learning and technical culture which must take into account both the knowledge of the tools, but also the training tools. It is this vision of the ecology of the training that foreshadowed in our analysis and looming for academic libraries as a strong axis of anchoring in higher education around a dynamic oriented towards a digital documentary convergence. These recommendations are considered in the context of collective action within the University with real mediation between the different actors of education and training, and a central place for the University Library as the place of training for digital transversalities.

Digital Identity and Performance:How Student Identity Construction can be Influenced Through Digital Social Media and Expressed Through Theatrical Performance

Nelsen, Mindy M 01 June 2015 (has links) (PDF)
Adolescents and teens are surrounded by a myriad of influences that affect how they see and present themselves. Contemporary communication for these young people frequently happens in an online forum through digital social media. The primary purpose of this master's thesis is to examine the affect of digital social media on adolescent and teen identity construction and perception of self and other. Further research was performed to identify how that identity can be expressed through theatrical performance. The first chapter is a review of current literature, theory and practice of those within the educational paradigm who are trying to incorporate media literacy skills into contemporary pedagogy. An action research project was formulated to create lesson plans that aid students in engaging critically with digital social media and then empowering them with the skills to access, analyze, evaluate and create that media. Students then use their findings in the creation of a devised theatre piece. Chapter Two discusses the methodology involved with the gathering of the data and the process of analysis using open coding. Chapter Three presents the findings and exhibits student work and Chapter Four analyzes the findings and presents a course for future study, research and use of the findings in the contemporary drama classroom.

COCRIAÇÃO DE VALOR COMO ESTRATÉGIA DE COMUNICAÇÃO NA SOCIEDADE EM REDE: ESTUDO DO PROGRAMA COCRIANDO NATURA

Valle, Taisa de Oliveira Ferro Dalla 09 May 2016 (has links)
Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior / This dissertation investigates an online co-creation network as a communication strategy and it is delimited to analyze the co-creation of value between organizations and their public as a communication strategy in the network society. The problem that leads the study focuses on the assumption that co-creation in online network enables new forms of interactions and relationships between organizations and their public and it is structured as follows: "How does Natura use an online co-creation network as a communication strategy in the network society?" The general objective of the research is to analyze the co-creation of value by Natura as an organizational communication strategy. The specific objectives are defined as follows: (1) Describing the main digital social media used. (2) Checking the strategic appropriation of an online network for the co-creation of value; (3) Describing the online co-creation network created by Natura; (4) Analyzing the forms of interactions provided by the online co-creation network of Natura s Cocriando Program. The methodological approach of the research consists in the articulated application of different and complementary methods and techniques that seek to investigate how the communication strategies through co-creation in the digital ambience of the researched organization shape up. The course includes the study through non-participant observation in digital social media and in online co-creation network of Natura s Cocriando Program. In addition, there is the indepth interview with the person responsible for the company's innovation management and the asynchronous interview through structured questionnaire with the participants that contributed the most with ideas on Jornada SOU. We used the analytical model structured for the analysis of digital platforms proposed by Proulx (2012) and the interaction blocks proposed by Prahalad and Ramaswamy (2004) so there would have co-creation. From the merger of these two methodological perspectives we created a third model of analysis that includes five categories: the platform's technical architecture; dialogue; user experience, riskbenefit and user contribution. In this context, we found out that the co-creation of value made strategic communication processes between Natura and its public possible. The co-creation network can be considered a complex and unprecedented tool when it comes to structure different stakeholders in network, in order to jointly create ideas through online interactions, aiming at innovation.
