Den besvärliga språkriktighetsfrågan om de, dem och dom : En jämförande studie om gymnasieelevers användning av pronomina de, dem och dom i skriftlig produktion / The difficult question of correctness about de, dem and dom (they and them) : A comparative study of upper secondary students’ use of pronoun de, dem and dom (they and them) in written production

Lindström, Pontus January 2021 (has links)

Lind, Charlotta January 2020 (has links)

Spatial and Temporal Transitions in the Composition and Transport of Carbon under Variable Flow

Ryan, Madeline Faye 14 September 2018 (has links)
Recent studies have focused on dissolved organic matter (DOM) cycling throughout river corridors or in reservoirs, but few have explored DOM cycling in commonplace but understudied run-of-river (ROR) reservoir systems. Impoundments disrupt river flow patterns, as they increase hydraulic residence time and alter the flow of DOM downstream. During storms when the majority of DOM loading occurs, impoundments become less likely to hold DOM and will increase export of DOM downstream. In this study, we quantified DOM bioavailability and composition, carbon flux, and carbon dioxide (CO2) gas evasion in a ROR reservoir system at baseflow conditions and during a 1.5-year storm event. This study used a combination of high frequency spatial sensor data geotagged to GPS coordinates along the river to reservoir transition, and grab samples of surface water taken at two U.S. Geological Survey stream gauges and three additional sites. The landscape and shallow flow paths to ROR reservoir systems resulted in the export of both aromatic carbon and labile organic matter present within these waters, as water was mixed and exported downstream. Additionally, the reservoir was a net sink of DOC and BDOC flux, while also a source of DIC flux. Finally, CO2 evasion was magnified by high flow, with the reservoir changing from a sink to a source of CO2 to the atmosphere. ROR reservoirs may undergo "short-circuiting" during high flow, which alters DOM transformations and transport of carbon downstream. Our results provide critical insight on carbon dynamics in ROR reservoir systems and highlight the need to incorporate riverine DOM into carbon budgets, especially under variable flow conditions. / Master of Science / Recent studies have focused on dissolved organic matter (DOM) cycling through river corridors, as DOM provides energy to aquatic food webs and can be converted to carbon dioxide (CO₂) through microbial respiration. Few studies have explored DOM cycling in commonplace but understudied run-of-river (ROR) reservoir systems. ROR reservoirs are created by the implementation of a dam across a river channel and use the flow of the river to generate hydroelectric power. During storms, when the majority of DOM loading occurs, impoundments become less likely to hold DOM and will increase export of DOM downstream. In this study, we quantified DOM quality and composition, DOM transport, and carbon dioxide (CO₂) gas evasion in a ROR reservoir system at baseflow conditions and across a 1.5 year storm event. This study used a combination of high frequency spatial sensor data combined with GPS coordinates along the river to reservoir transition, and grab samples of surface water taken at two U.S. Geological Survey stream gauges and three additional sites. Results show that the landscape and shallow flow paths to ROR reservoir systems resulted in the export of both high and low quality carbon present within these waters, as water was mixed and exported downstream. Additionally, the reservoir was a net sink of DOM flux, retaining 40.7% of the total DOM loading for the storm event. Finally, CO₂ evasion was magnified by the storm event, with the reservoir changing from a sink to a source of CO₂ to the atmosphere. Our results provide critical insight on carbon dynamics in ROR reservoir systems and highlight the need to incorporate riverine DOM into carbon budgets, especially under variable flow conditions.

No. of bitstreams: 1 Uziel Moreira dos Santos.pdf: 2485836 bytes, checksum: a53796317b3e6905fcabeecd7751e2ca (MD5) Previous issue date: 2014-02-24 / This research consists of analyzing the adaptation of the romance Dom Casmurro, by Machado de Assis, to the television micro-series Capitu, directed by Luiz Fernand Carvalho. It is intended to expose and analyze the similarities and differences between the chosen works, as well as the choices and procedures made inside dialogues with the theory and the practice of which corresponds to the core of the adaptations. For that, it was sought to answer the following questions-problems: how to adapt the narrative elements and the literary specifics of the novel Dom Casmurro to the micro-series Capitu? How to situate the changes between the original and its mediated palimpsest, taking into consideration the dichotomous context surrounding the adaptation s phenomenon? Which procedures, employed in this adaptation, resulted into artistic possibilities to a television product? To investigate the legitimacy of such information, a revision of the studies about the analysis phenomenon was performed, as well as a television and cinematographic language norms, respecting the trans-didactic genre embedded in the micro-series Capitu. It was also analysed the way in which the narrative and the literary specifics in Dom Casmurro were worked by the director, as well as the audiovisual resources created showing the level of complexity of the reading done by the adapter over the original. In this sense, it was selected a critical-theoretical nucleus composed of the main authors: Robert Stam, Linda Hutcheon, Linda Seger, Maria Ester Maciel, Ismail Xavier. In the course of three chapters, it was arranged for the thinkers to dialog with the corpus / Esta pesquisa consiste em analisar a adaptação do romance Dom Casmurro, de Machado de Assis, para a microssérie televisiva Capitu, dirigida por Luiz Fernando Carvalho.

Edição e estudo de cartas inéditas escritas por Dom Pedro II / The edition and study of unpublished letters handwritten by Dom Pedro II

Jubilato, Manoella Neres 28 February 2013 (has links)
This essay aims at editing 49 (forty nine) unpublished personal, political, economical and everyday letters handwritten in paper by the Brazilian Emperor, Dom Pedro II (1825-1891), and sent to his sister Januária (1822-1901) between the years 1860 and 1864. This publication has also paleographic, codicological and historical notes provided by the reading and searching of the reported events in the corpus using as the basis of study writers like Cambraia (2005), in a philological view, Barman (1999) e Schwarcz (2004), in a historical aspect, et al. Regarding the study proposed by Spina (1977), which demonstrates the transcendent function of philology and the use of the handwritten document as an object and a critical method, this essay not only proves that the corpus was handwritten by Dom Pedro II, but also searches for the facts and the described contexts in the letters as the source of future and linguistics analyse and also the basis of the historical study of Brazilian Empire. It is possible to identify specific details related to Brazil Empire at the beginning of the second half of the nineteenth century with the presented results in this essay.

With emphasis on institutional aspects in the history of the Catholic Church in Brazil. In general, seeks to analyze what your speech and debates on the role of the Dom Vital Centre in Brazilian society, thirty years after its foundation; as well as investigate the posture performed by Catholic intellectuals in the face of internal and external events to the religious field in the mid-twentieth century. It has even pretend to elaborate about the historical and theoretical context of Catholicism in the country. This magazine which appears as the first lay expression of intellectual production on the Catholic Church, which together with the Dom Vital Centre, mark the beginning of a new phase of the writings of the Brazilian Catholic Church. A Ordem considered by scholars as a core of debates and thoughts of exposure Catholic group that composed. Taking into account all relevant this newsletter for initial training of a Brazilian Catholic thought and expression and engagement of intellectuals is that is proposed to study. Given that the vast majority of research on the subject focus their attention in the first decades of the magazine and the Center, this work, by contrast, proposes a study that continues into the 1950s, seeking to understand the specifics of this moment for the Church . Thereby computing the relevance of this research. Computando assim a pertin?ncia desta pesquisa.
