I denna uppsats analyseras Gillian Dysons performancekonstverk Sine ur ett psykoanalytiskt och feministiskt perspektiv. Upplägget för uppsatsen följer Erwin Panofskys ikonologiska tolkningsmodell för att tydliggöra de olika skikt som står att finna i verket. Till skillnad från konstnärens beskrivning av verket som ett minne från sin barndom, anser jag det finnas aspekter i det som talar om såväl Dysons som andra kvinnliga konstnärers roll i konstvärlden. Även användandet av kvinnokroppen i konst och som förmedling av konst diskuteras.

In 2009 and 2010 a split, split, split plot experiment with training system, VSP or Smart-Dyson Ballerina (main plot), N, 0 or 33.6 kg/ha (split), crop level, 14.0, 18.7, or 23.4 clusters/m/canopy (split), clone, Cabernet Franc 1,4, 8 and 214 treatments with five replications were established in Union County, Illinois on mature vines. The Smart-Dyson Ballerina training system produced a Ravaz index that was 89% and 28% bigger compared to the VSP respectively in 2009 and 2010. In 2009, the Smart-Dyson Ballerina produced a 80% bigger yield than VSP and in 2010 yield was also larger, but influenced by both training system and crop level. Maintaining a balanced vineyard can increase profit for the grower by up to $6,356.87/ha.

No último capítulo desta tese elaboramos um modelo, assumindo como solução a forma Irregular para a auto-energia fermiônica, onde as três gerações de férmions adquirem massa via efeitos de quebra dinâmica de simetria. / Abstracts: The Higgs mechanism, based on existence of fundamental scalars bosons suffer from the hierarchy and naturalness problems. In this work we review the main aspects of the Technicolor models. In particular, we aegue that the fermionic self-energy must behave as the Irregular form, that solve most of the Technicolor models problems. In the last Chapter of his thesis we build a model, assuming the Irregular form for the fermionic self-energy, where the three fermionic generations receive mass dynamically.

In an ever-changing world an armed force needs to adapt and learn from its mistakes. To do this it needs to have a working lessons-learned process and the Swedish army is in the developing phase of such a process. But how does it hold up against previous lessons-learned processes and what can be learned from these? The essay investigates the Swedish lessons-learned process used during its ISAF contingents between 2009-2013 and compare it to the process the Swedish army is developing today with the help of Dysons model for lessons-learned processes. The essay finds that, while some improvements have been achieved, there are certain factors that still needs to improve. Most importantly the understanding of what a lesson learned is and how to use it needs to be improved. This will help the organization in the other areas, such as knowledge management, dissemination, and transformation. Another area in need of development is the knowledge management IT-system. The study finds that further studies needs to be done in knowledge transformation within the organization. Further studies also need to be done regarding how the organization handles the lessons learned process in the units.

Organizational learning and management have been studied and researched for a long time, numerous of theories regarding the matter has been published and used withing the civilian sector and business. Military organizations are just as dependent on a working knowledge management system as the civilian sector.  Tom Dyson has previously conducted a case study within the NATO organization and some of its member countries and found problem areas with their way of managing experiences and ways to implement previously learned lessons.  This study aims to use Dyson’s theory regarding organizational learning within military organizations and apply them to the Swedish armed forces common handbook for knowledge management to determine if the Swedish way is suffering in any department, or if the common handbook is sufficient for an organization which require good and a well working knowledge management system. The result from the study shows that the Swedish armed forces do enforce most of Dyson’s criterions for a well working knowledge management system but are lacking in incorporating a common system for the personal within the organization to use, share and learn from previous lessons.

The impact parameter (IP) approximation is a semiclassical model in quantum scattering theory wherein N large masses interact with one small mass. We study this model in one spatial dimension using the tools of time-dependent scattering theory, considering a system of two large-mass particles and one small-mass particle. We demonstrate that the model's predictive power becomes arbitrarily good as the masses of the two heavy particles are made larger by studying the S-matrix for a particular scattering channel. We also show that the IP wave functions can be made arbitrarily close to the full three-body solution, uniformly in time, provided one of the large masses is fixed in place, and that such a result probably will not hold if we allow all the masses to move. / Ph. <p> Although the electronic pairing hypothesis of Bardeen, Cooper and Schrieffer is verified by experiment, the lattice polarisation mechanism for over-screening the repulsion between mates in a pair need not be the sole mechanism. </p> <p> Alternatives to the lattice polarisation mechanism are discussed and a new approach to electronic polarisation is developed. Propagator formalism is reworked using a charge density propagator to avoid the Dyson equation for the screened potential. The fermi liquid approach to electrons in a metal is avoided, too, because it misses the correlations which give a solid its atomicity. An atomic picture is contrived instead and used to predict what observable features of a superconductor are influenced by atomic correlations. </p> / Thesis / Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
