Musilová, Alena January 2012 (has links)
AND KEYWORDS This final thesis deals with "Methods and techniques of drama in education suitable in kindergarten praxis for children aged 3 to 4 years." It studies the suitability of selected techniques and methods when used in drama education of 3-4 year-old children. The thesis has a theoretical and a practical part. In the theoretical part we try to outline related issues, taking a professional perspective and using scholarly resources. This creates a point of departure for the practical part, which begins by identifying goals, asking questions and choosing methods of study. As its primary method of study the thesis selects the analysis and evaluation of real drama education lessons. The practical part draws upon work according to the School Education Programme and Class Education Programme, and uses related literature (Hana Budínská: "Games for six senses"). It also utilizes books for children, analysing selected fairy-tales and poems. At the end the practical part summarizes all findings and evaluates the research questions. The conclusion discusses the new knowledge acquired through working on this thesis. The thesis tries to describe work with children aged between three and four years, in nursery school drama education lessons. Both theory and practice are taken into account. The focus is...

Efeito de instruções usando DVD-ROM no desempenho técnico de massoterapia miofascial e sua retenção / There are few investigations on modern resources for educational teaching ability techniques of massage therapy

Cachoni, Luiz Francisco 18 June 2014 (has links)
Conclusão: As instruções de DVD complementaram os recursos didáticos tradicionais, com vantagens para o aprendizado e tempo de curso / Contextualization: There are few investigations on modern resources for educational teaching ability techniques of massage therapy. Objective: To evaluate the effect of instructions using film in DVD way associated to the traditional teaching (expositive class with instructor demonstration in a volunteer), in the learning and retention myofascial massage (MM). Method: It is a retrospective and double blind study. An experienced physiotherapist she served as a teacher (blind to the purpose of the study) and 60 physiotherapists carried out the course on MM. The course had 15 classes using the book ¨Massage Clinic, Clay and Pounds (2003)¨ and expositive classes for group A (n = 30) and the same book and respective DVD for group B (n = 30). The book describes and illustrates the maneuvers of MM and the DVD demonstrates technical. The assessment was performed by means of recording with simulation of treatment realized at the end of the course, repeated after two months to evaluate retention. At the end of the course the participants answered a questionnaire about satisfaction with the course. The film was evaluated by two physiotherapists blinded to the study. Results: Analysis of intraclass correlation coefficient confirmed trustworthiness of the ratings given by the evaluators. There were differences between groups in the ability of application of MM, with better use of group B (two-way ANOVA). Students in group B have suggested supplementations on course with new teaching technologies. The use DVD of classes decreases the time in onethird. Using DVD decreases the time used to perform the lessons in a third. Conclusion: The instructions of the DVD have complemented traditional teaching resources, with advantages for learning and course time

Beyond Problem-based Learning: How a Residency Model Improves the Education of Pre-service Teachers

Nivens, Ryan Andrew, Moran, Renée Rice 01 April 2016 (has links)
In 2010, the state of Tennessee embraced the call to overhaul teacher education and required programs to adopt a residency model within K-12 schools. How exactly this would affect the various methods courses in a teacher education program? This paper provides a description of how two elementary education methods courses have shifted from simulation-style projects to projects that involve working with actual elementary students throughout the semester. This article presents an overview of the new residency style methods courses, along with how major assignments shifted to utilize the extensive time pre-service teachers would spend in the elementary school classroom.

Vzdělávání dětí v uprchlických táborech / Educating children in refugee camps

Lejskeová, Jana January 2019 (has links)
According to UNHCR data from 2018, there are approximately seven and a half million school-age child refugees, with only 61% of them having access to primary education (versus 91% of the total child population). In Greece, child migrants have been around for several years, but they have not had access to education for a long time and some children still do not. The situation was dealt with in various alternative ways, through non-profit organizations, volunteers from around the world and refugees themselves. The thesis is conceived theoretically and empirically. The theoretical part of this thesis deals with these issues. It seeks to explore the educational situation of refugee children in the world, describes the recent migration crisis in Greece, deals with the right to educate refugee children at world and European level, and also in Greece, introduces educational opportunities for refugee children in Greece, both formal, provided by the state, and informal, provided by volunteers and non-profit organizations. In the empirical part, qualitative research examines the barriers that non-formal education providers have encountered in trying to deliver education to refugee children and describes the methods overcoming these barriers. Conducted ethnographic research included volunteer observation in...
